Get Well Soon - MFT Card

Hello Hello!
I have a card to share today.
I started with an older stamp set, I have had in my stash for a very long time. I stamped her on three different surfaces, my xpress it card (for colouring), on my backing card, and also on some patterned paper. I coloured her up, adding highlights to the umbrella, which has been paper pieced. I used patterned paper from Echo Park and Simple Stories.
I printed a sentiment, on the pc, and layered it all up, with doodling all around my patterned papers. I added some sequins to finish off this card.

Gorjuss and MFT Stamps - Friendship Card

Hi Hi!
I'm sharing a quick card with you today, one that I made this past weekend
For this card, I dug out some older stamps, that I haven't coloured in a VERY long time. These are two different Gorjuss Stamps, coloured using my Copic markers, and Spectrum Noir Markers. I layered it up using patterned papers from Simple Stories. I used a doily and the sentiment is from My Favourite Things. I also added some adhesive gel dots.

From the Heart Stamps - Doggy Birthday

Hey Hey! Just a quick almost midnight post, as I gave myself a break from the uni lectures I've been catching up on, and crafted...
If you've ever wondered what my desk looks like, while crafting, this is it
Anyway, onto my card -
I used the digital stamp from From the Heart Stamps, coloured up with my Spectrum Noir Markers, and patterned papers from Teresa Collins and Simple Stories. I doodled around the edges, and die-cut the main image, leaving the balloons free to "float"and also die cut a circle. I then added some buttons, twine and a sentiment, which is from Simon Says Stamp...

Scrapbooking my Birthday!

Hello! I've been in a bit of a creative slump recently, nothing has been interesting me. One of my favourite ways to get out of a slump, like that is to grab some photos, and all my pretty embellishments and do a scrapbook page.
This page features a photo of me, all dressed up and ready to hit the town for my birthday last month.
I grabbed my photo, and went through my paper stash. The background paper is from Simple Stories, while the rest of it is by Websters Pages. I didn't really have a set colour theme or anything for this photos, as you can tell, it's quite a neutral photo.
I then went through my stash of embellishments. I used a polaroid frame (wow chipboard) and layered on top of it a big bloom flower, a flair and a bunch of resin roses and pearls. The Title runs up the side of the photo, and is from Jillibean Soup.
In the opposite corner, I added a prima flower, more resin roses and some paper flowers from D-Lish Scraps. I also found a tiny silver heart and added it in...

The Greeting Farm - Happy 1st Birthday!

Hi guys! Hope your weekend is going really well... I had a full on day of socialising yesterday, which was amazing.... Today, I'm puttering around the house, crafting, and heading out to the gym in a little while... On Friday night, one of my friends mentioned they needed a first birthday card for their niece.... So, I sat down and created this -
I started off picking out some pink patterned papers... I chose one from Kaisercraft, and the other one is from Simple Stories. I then grabbed this adorable little stamp, she is from The Greeting Farm - Oliver and Amelia - My Favorite Things, I coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir markers, and fussy cut her out. I die-cut a doily, added a sentiment (partially cut using my big shot, and SU! alphabet dies), and added some doodling, and sequins.

The Greeting Farm - Surfing Anya "Hello" Card

Hi guys!
I started this card a couple of days ago, as in, Tuesday... But, I couldn't get it to work for me... So I sat it aside and left it... I came back to it on Friday night, and pulled most of the elements off, leaving just the middle red paper, and the ledger paper at the top... This is what it became -
I was totally inspired by my awesome bloggy buddy Annmaree to create something summery, to warm up in this winter weather!
I stamped Surfing Anya in light yellow ink (So Saffron) and then coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir markers, to achieve a no-lines look.. This is the first time I've done this style, and been happy with how it turned out! I then grabbed some scrap papers from the paper holder on my desk, and made up the other two panels on the bottom. I added a strip of aqua ribbon and then mounted it all on Poppy Parade card before attaching Anya, the sentiment (Jillibean Soup) and a couple of enamel dots. The card base is Kraft...

Kaszazz People Stamps! - Sending you Smiles

Hi guys! I got inky again, last night before bed, so I have a card to share today!
Recently, Kaszazz brought out a small range of people stamps (to coincide with their release of Alcohol Markers). Mum is a Kaszazz Consultant, and as soon as I saw this one, I knew she'd be making a home in my collection!
I stamped, and coloured her up, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, then trimmed her out. I used some older Simple Stories patterned paper, vanilla and Kraft card stock and then embellished with some rhinestones and a cork arrow (from Studio Calico). I stamped the sentiment, which is a Kraftin' Kimmie one (Everyday Sentiments) , and doodled borders all the way around the card, and each main layer!

Gorjuss Girls - Just Because Card

Hi!
I have been updating my store today, with heaps more cards to come over the following days, so keep either an eye out on the store or on my Facebook page to stay in the loop!
Here is the card I created most recently -

I started out with a new stamp that joined my collection this week, her name is Gojuss, and was stamped on both X-Press It card, and Simple Stories patterned paper. I coloured her in using my Spectrum Noirs, and fussy cut her out. I then made a fairly clean and simple card to pop her onto. I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye, and just doodled around the edges. The sentiment is from a small clear stamp that I've had forever and don't know where it is from.
I am entering this into two challenges -Annabelle Stamps sketch challenge and the Play Date Cafe colour challenge.

The exciting part is.... All my readers (yup, you!) are entitled to a 20% discount on all orders! Just pop the code JESS20 in during the checkout process to claim your discount... There is also free shipping, Australia wide, for orders over $100! So, check it!
I've had a lot of fun over the last few days, scrapbooking... It's been awesome to get back into it... I'd left it behind last month, and my mojo for it had disappeared... But, then I made the page yesterday, and had to keep going! So, onto my layout for today!

I started out, picking this photo out of my picture albums, and selecting the papers I wanted to use... I used the Project Life papers from Echo Park, drew my customary borders around them, then grabbed my embellishments!
Here you can see lots of little flowers, a label (simple stories), and a doily... I also popped some twine, rolled up into a circle below my flower. The top section, near the title, has a Typo heart and lots of little bits of bling! The heart next to the label is a little wooden veneer, coloured in with my Spectrum Noir Markers.
In this picture, you can see more of the Simple Stories stickers, a FindingNana button and more flowers and twine!
I am loving the Project Life pieces for my scrapbooking, makes it A LOT easier to co-ordinate everything!

The Greeting Farm - Surfer Anya Thank You card

Hi again! I have another card to share with you today!
I'm on a bit of a crafty roll at the moment!
I staqmped, and coloured my Surfer Anya, using my Spectrum Noir markers, and then fussy cut her out. I then cut a circle using my nesting dies. I stamped the sentiment, from SU! and did some doodling around the edge. The patterned paper in the background was an off cut that was still on my desk from this card and i apparently misnamed it.... it's Pink Paislee. The patterned papers in the banners are My Minds Eye, SU, and Simple Stories.
Here is a close up
I'm entering this into three challenges... The first is the Cardabilities sketch #67, next up are the two Splendid Stamping challenges - Friday's which is Thankyou cards, and DTT Blue and Yellow

The Greeting Farm - Rain, Snow, Shine Christmas Card

Hi Again! I have had the day off work today (scheduled) and I decided after tidying up last night, it was time to craft! I made two cards so far, might get more done after dinner... Here is my first one -
I have had this stamp all coloured up for a few days, and she was just waiting to get onto a Christmas card. I coloured her using my beloved Spectrum Noir Markers, and made her look like Mrs. Claus. I then put stickles on her hand warmer and boots etc. I love how she turned out, so when the stickles was dry, trimmer her out and then made up my card. The patterned papers are from Simple Stories, I used my faux Crochet MFT Die-namic for the little bit of lace and the Stampin' Up! Timeless Type alphabet for the sentiment, which I've covered in stickles as well.
I used the sketch from Anyone for Anya? as inspiration and the first challenge from Spectrum Noir Holiday challenge :)

Some Odd Girl - Gifty Gwen

I have another quick and easy card to share with you. I've been super busy recently, and one of the ways I edge my way back into craft mojo territory is by making a clean and simple card... Here it is -
What I really wanted to do with this card was to make the chevron patterned paper 'make' this card.... so, I trimmed it out and left the bottom section intact, then attached it to some fairly basic ledger like paper (it has stripes all over it) and it's from the Echo Park This & That Charming 6x6 Paper Pad. I then stamped my Gifty Gwen on X-Press It blending paper  and onto some purple polka dotted paper by My Minds Eye. I then paper pieced this Some Odd Girls dress, and coloured the rest of her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then fussy cut her out, and added some white highlights to her necklace, barrette and cheeks before attaching her with dimensionals to the patterned paper background. The sentiment has been stamped, and then cut out on more patterned paper and attached with lower foam dots than Gwen. I added a mini binder clip for my 'metal' accent so she would fulfil the requirements of this months challenge

I am also entering this into the Some Odd Girl Sketch Challenge, which can be found here
I'm also going to enter this into the Simon Says Stamp We're So Trendy challenge - Chevrons

Some Odd Girl - Royal - Birthday Card

Hi guys, back again today (three days in a row!) with a card to share... I have been missing my stamps, and colouring recently... how sad is that??? Anyway, onto the card -
I knew I wanted to play with some new patterned paper, as one of the things I picked up from the Newcastle craft show was a couple of patterned paper pads. So, I picked out the yellow from Authentique, and the orange is from Simple Stories. I coloured up Royal using my Spectrum Noir markers, in greys and added a little bling to her eyes and her crown. I fussy cut her out, and layered her on a doily and a bingo card (which received a bit of distressing, and the glitter treatment) The sentiment is from the Royal stamp set from Some Odd Girl, and was cut out using a MFT die-namic.
I am entering this into the August Sketch challenge over at Some Odd Girls, and I took colour inspiration from The Play Date Cafe.
Thanks for dropping by!

Feeling Sketchy- Week 16

Hi guys! I crafted last night, and came up with three (!) cards, two are DT cards.... Here's the first using the newest sketch from Feeling Sketchy!
F-Sketchy 16
And, here's my card
I started out colouring this little surfer dude  - Surfing Oliver using my Spectrum Noir markers, I then cut him out, and set him aside to gather my supplies. I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye and Simple Stories I cut them down to size and layered them onto white card. I used some Silver Grosgrain ribbon, and some light aqua satin ribbon wrapped around the centre, to break it up a bit. I then layered the white card onto some Basic Gray card stock and did up my main image panel, white on top of gray. I drew in some water and sand using my markers, and then stamped the sentiment (from Stampin' Up!) Basic Phrases. I added three blue rhinestones to finish off the card. Don't forget to pop over to Feeling Sketchy and link up your card for your chance to win a prize pack from Sparkle Creations :)

Kraftin' Kimmie Cards

Hi Guys! Last night, I was up late, chatting with guess who, and colouring a couple of Kraftin' Kimmie images for some cards I knew I wanted to make.... here's the first -
By now, most of you probably know I dislike using the colour purple... to me, it just doesn't seem to 'work' for me... But, Annmaree sent me a Kaisercraft paper pad (Hippy Girl) that contained a lot of purple.... so, I had to use it! I've coloured up Talulahbelle with Spectrum Noir Markers and cut her out using my nesting circle dies... I the cut out a slightly bigger one in Elegant Eggplant cardstock. I layered up the papers on more eggplant card and stitched around them using the sewing machine. The sentiment has been white embossed and I have added some flowers and bling to finish it off. This card is using the current sketch from The Paper Players.
Now, on to the next card -
This is Goldilocks, and she's been coloured with my Speccies as well... I fussy cut her out, and the moved onto creating the card. I have used patterned paper from Simple Stories Fabulous range and they have been layered on to white card before being mounted on to the card base. Before sticking down the striped card, I added two twill ribbon loops. I then attached the stripey paper and a crocheted doily. I attached some buttons and my image popped up on a bunch of dimensionals.
I am entering this second card into the Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge, and also the Addicted to Stamps Bingo challenge - Flowers, Buttons, Blue
Thanks for dropping by!
