Some Odd Girl - Wishes

Hi guys! This is a quick (ish) post, that includes lots of yumminess from The Stamp Spot
I started by stamping Wishes from Some Odd Girl, and coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, I then selected my papers... I've used the pink flowered paper from Sn@p Vintage Bliss 6x6 and, the butterfly 3x4 inch tag from Sn@p Vintage Bliss 4x6 card, I trimmed it out, and re-mounted it on purple card, as it was getting lost with pink on pink... I layered a paper doily between the pink and 3x4 card, then added Wishes, a sentiment (from MFT) and then decided this card needed some flowers, bling and another butterfly! I dug through my stash, knowing I had these Prima pleated blooms that would work perfectly for this super girly card. I also used one of these Kaisercraft Amethyst paper blooms and a pink one from my stash. Michelle has recently added chipboards to the shop (which is SUPER exciting!) I used one of the tiny butterflies from 2Crafty, and added a few purple rhinestones.

Kraftin' Kimmie - You Rock!

Hi guys! I know, I've not been around much, again....
On the plus side, I do have a card to share!
I started by getting the boyfriend to go through a 6x6 paper pad, by Amy Tangerine, and pick two papers... He picked the bright pink chevron, and the note paper with the doodling in the corner... I went to work... I stamped and coloured up this rocking chicky, from Kraftin' Kimmie, and die-cut her out, using a circle die. Then, built up my card, I used the Hexagon embossing folder (from SU!) and sanded it back a bit, and then added the notebook paper on the left hand side. I added two fish tail banners, one out of the pink chevron paper, the other using washi tape on white card stock. I added a piece of aqua satin ribbon (which matched her outfit, perfectly!) and then stamped and die-cut a sentiment. This sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie too...
I added three little rhinestones, in aqua, and called it done!
I have some exciting news today too! I was featured on the front page of Madeit today!

Kaszazz People Stamps! - Sending you Smiles

Hi guys! I got inky again, last night before bed, so I have a card to share today!
Recently, Kaszazz brought out a small range of people stamps (to coincide with their release of Alcohol Markers). Mum is a Kaszazz Consultant, and as soon as I saw this one, I knew she'd be making a home in my collection!
I stamped, and coloured her up, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, then trimmed her out. I used some older Simple Stories patterned paper, vanilla and Kraft card stock and then embellished with some rhinestones and a cork arrow (from Studio Calico). I stamped the sentiment, which is a Kraftin' Kimmie one (Everyday Sentiments) , and doodled borders all the way around the card, and each main layer!

The Greeting Farm - Babette - Hello Card with Washi Tape

Hi guys, my craft mojo has been completely missing for days... I've really missed it... I have had zero ambition to craft. It's been quite depressing. So, yesterday, I spent the day cleaning up, and for some reason, when I spend a while cleaning up, my craft mojo returns... I also wanted to let you know, my MadeIt store has re-opened with new stock added!
So, I created this card last night -
I started by going through my "scrap" paper stash, the off cuts I've got from other projects.... and came up with three pieces. The green one is from Echo Park Dots and Stripes, the dark blue is from Echo Park (all about a boy 6x6) and her dress is American Crafts (My Girl) I coloured Babette, from The Greeting Farm, using my Spectrum Noirs, and shaded her dress using the Speccies straight onto the patterned paper, to give it a bit more definition. I then built up my card. I used some washi tape (on sale for $1 a roll at The Stamp Spot today!) to cover the join. If you want to check out the Stamp Spot Blog, there will be a bunch of uploads using Washi Tape today!
I die cut a couple of spellbinders labels, and popped Babette on top, and added 5 roses, a combination of  paper flowers and resin flowers, as well as two rhinestones at either end. The sentiment is one that has been in my stash forever, and I rarely use... I don't even know which company it is from!

Wild Rose Studio - Mother's Day Card

Hi guys!
I have a Mother's Day card to share today, that features some awesome products from Alacraft. I received an email recently, letting me know that Alacraft are now doing a $25 monthly giveaway! All you need to do, is pop your email address in at this link, and you're in the draw!
Now, onto my card!
I started out inking up the cute teddy, with flowers from Wild Rose Studio, and colouring it up with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then picked out the papers I wanted to use. These bright, fun ones are from the Craft Paper Pad - Sweet Party (which is a total bargain at $2 a pack, and they measure 6x6) I then trimmed them down to the card base size, doodled around the edges, and stamped the sentiment, from Kaisercraft. I decided the card needed some lace and chose this one, as it has little hearts along it... (How cute is that?!) Then, I grabbed my stash of satin ribbons and used this Light Teal in 6mm. It's a good size for card fronts, as I don't think it overwhelms the main image. I then attached everything together, using some double sided tape, and added a trio of pearls, to the opposite diagonal to the sentiment. These Pearls come attached together, in strips, which is great if you want to put them in a line, like I have on this card, but with a tiny snip of some scissors, it's easy to make them single pearls as well!
