MFT Unicorn Birthday Card

Hi Hi! I have another card to share today, this one, I have had in my mind for a couple of days, I was just awaiting the stamp set arriving!
I started by picking my papers, these are from Pink Paislee, I the selected my unicorn, and stamped and coloured him, and the rainbow, using my Spectrum Noir Markers and Copics. I die cut the circle, and cloud shapes and then built my card. The sentiment is from the same set as the unicorn. I've added a smattering of sequins to finish off the card

Scrapbooking - Lovedale Long Lunch

Hi Hi! I went on the Lovedale Long Lunch this weekend just gone, it's a day filled with Hunter Valley wines, Lunch, music, and friends! Our bus theme was double denim, but because it was SUCH a nice day, we ditched the denim jackets pretty quickly!
Anyway, onto my scrap page -
The main background paper I've used is from Kaisercraft, paired with some Teresa Collins (the pink) I've added doilies, a Prima feather, a die-cut feather, the frames are from Pink Paislee (I think), some stickers from My Minds Eye and a whole bunch of stuff from D-Lish Scraps. I also added in a few of the left over tickets.

The Greeting Farm - Birthday Card

Well, I've been crafting, I've just been super lazy about photographing and uploading the finished products to my stores and onto the blog... Sorry guys!
I have a card to share today, and hopefully the scrap pages will be uploaded tomorrow and Saturday ;)
For this card, I coloured up another The Greeting Farm image, and fussy cut her out. I then left her sitting on my desk for more days than I care to admit to!
I finally got around to creating a card with her, I used patterned paper from Teresa Collins, Pink Paislee and Echo Park. I also used some twine, and a bunch of both paper and resin roses from
D-Lish Scraps *swoon* I actually went shopping there today, and restocked on a bunch of new pretties, so keep an eye out for them ;) The sentiment is from Hero Arts

Kraftin' Kimmie - Clara Valentine's Day Card

I've been at the craft desk once again! I have a whole range of Valentine's cards up in store now! And, just for being a blog reader, you can get 20% off until Monday, just use coupon code BlogLove on checkout!
Here is the card I have to share today -
I actually started this card a couple of days ago, and it just wasn't working for me... I had coloured Clara (from Kraftin' Kimmie) three times before I was happy with her, then because it had taken so long, I wasn't happy with the papers, or the style for the card. So, left Clara on my desk, to come back to. I used a mix of really old My Minds Eye patterned paper and new Pink Paislee, doodled around the edges, wrapped some seam binding ribbon and some new pink satin ribbon, I picked up at Spotlight a week ago, and tide a big bow. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, and is the heart punchie.

D-Lish Scraps - Scrapbook Page - Inspiration Board

Hi Again! I have a scrapbook page to share today, that I worked on today. I have a stash of "selfies" printed up, ready to make scrap pages out of. If you've been following my story, I had weight loss surgery in April this year, I've lost a total of 76kg (167 pounds, in a year) This photo was taken in September, when I was first able to see the changes myself -
I used patterned paper (the kraft one) from Teresa Collins, the stars and flowered ones are off cuts from Echo Park Paper, and are super super old collections! I also used a gold foil doily to fill some space, and the flourish is from Twiddlybitz, which I've covered in white embossing powder.
In this pic, you can see some paper flowers, a button, a resin rose and a heart pin also, a close up of that delightful foil doily! I also added a small amount of twine, curled in on itself, and a Pink Paislee star.
This corner, near the photo includes the title, made with stickers from My Minds Eye, a flair button and an ampersand die-cut. I added some more twine, paper flowers and Pink Paislee stars.
I used the D-Lish Scraps Inspiration board as a starting point, using the "nautical" colour scheme, as well as the sketch, but altered it for my own design!

Scrapbooking my Journey - Weight Loss and Change

Good Morning!
I have been busy, both with uni work, and crafting, so, I thought perhaps it was time to update the old blog!
Ok, I know I'm not one to share a great deal of my personal life on my blog, as it is mostly craft related, but this last 9-10 months have seen some massive changes, within myself. I have lost almost 60kg (132 pounds), and have undergone weight loss surgery (Sleeve Gastrectomy) to continue to lose weight. Part of my journey, is that I want to document these changes, and that's where this scrap page comes in...
This photo, was a selfie I took in the mirror (June 2013), and shows, quite significantly, the changes and shape that has developed in my face! So, that was the main reason for scrapbooking it. I used patterned paper from SEI and Pink Paislee, and plain black card stock. I layered them up, then, went through my stash of flowers, from D-Lish Scraps. Here are some close ups, with info following-
This beautiful, big bloom is a Bellah Bloom (I believe they're handmade, I could be wrong though) and then some paper and resin roses. The sticker is from and Amy Tan collection, and is quite textured. The smattering of sequins and bling is my new addiction...
This collection of embellies includes a rub on, which is done onto vellum and trimmed out, another Bellah Bloom with more paper and resin roses. I also grabbed a hat pin, and made a flag, using the reverse side of the white grid paper, from Pink Paislee. I added a couple of wood flourish arrows, which I coloured up black using my alcohol markers, and added more sequins and bling. The title is from Alice in Wonderland, and says "I was a different person yesterday".

Kraftin' Kimmie - Shaped Card - You're Beautiful!

Hi guys! I've been meaning to pop over to the craft desk, and get some stamping done, but the inspiration just hasn't been there, until last night...
I stamped Charlotte from Kraftin' Kimmie, and coloured her up with my Spectrum Noir markers, and fussy cut her out. I then inked her up again, and stamped her onto some Pink Paislee scrapbook paper, and die cut it using my Spellbinder dies. I doodled around the edges, and used some seam binding ribbon to add a big old bow. The sentiment is from My Favourite Things.
Here is the close up (sorry for the terrible pics, my camera is playing up)

Scrapbook Page - Laugh as much as you breathe...

Hi guys! I have had a serious lack of mojo lately, so decided to try and get some scrapbooking done, to try and bring it back....
I printed my photo, which is from my nieces 2nd birthday party (held at the end of last month), and decided to scrap it, using the bright colours in the photo as inspiration! I grabbed some really old Echo Park Paper (Splash range) and used it as my main paper, I layered it up with some darker blue, and lighter blue card stock, and doodled around the edges. I then mounted my photo on some white card stock, and layered up a couple of pieces of washi tape, specifically #3 and #30. I then selected my embellishments -
I grabbed some paper blooms, as well as a Prima Pleated Flower, which I removed the pearl from and added a Finding Nana button instead. I added a wood veneer heart, from Freckled Fawn Wood Chips, as well as a Resistable Arrow, from Pink Paislee, which I inked with pink ink. To finish off this cluster, I added a Chic Tag and a couple of enamel dots.
This small embellishment cluster contains more Pink Paislee mistable shapes, which were sponged using pink ink, more enamel dots, and another Freckled Fawn wood chip.
My title of the page, is made up of lots of bits and pieces, alphas (I seriously love the look of mixed font titles!) I used pieces from Jillibean Soup Wise Words, Kaisercraft black and white mini alphas, Jillibean Soup Navy Alphabeans, and some random thickers that have been in my stash FOREVER! You can also see, on this photo, I've added an arrow paperclip from Freckled Fawn as well.
I used inspiration from two different places for this layout -

Scrapbooking - My Niece

Hi guys! I'm procrastinating today, and one of the things I did while procrastinating, was scrapbook.... I've been meaning to print out some photos of my niece from earlier in the year, and scrapbook them...
I started by printing my photos in black and white, trimming them down to 10cm x 10cm and layering them on some bright pink bazzil card. The main layout is Black card stock, with patterned paper by Bella Blvd, which I zig zag stitched a border onto. I then collected a range of Project Life 3x4 cards from my stash, which I think is Echo Park (I could very well be wrong), the Remember Card is from Sn@p
This is at the base of the journalling card, it has a sticker from Jillibean Soup, a Finding Nana Button and a little Wood Veneer Heart.
This section is up next to the top left photo, and has a chipboard flower (from Bella Blvd), a speech bubble stamped and die-cut (MFT) and a little pink button.
Another wood veneer hear, and a die cut tab (MFT) which has Brianna, 18 months on it.
On the bottom photo, I've added a Typo heart, another button and some words from this My Minds Eye Stickers. In the centre of the photos I've popped a Pink Paislee Artisian Chipboard Star, another Bella Blvd Chipboard flower, and button.
I've used the sketch from the MFT Scrap Sketch #7 and I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge!
Thanks for popping around!

Scrapbooking with Kaisercraft - Base Coat

Hi guys!
HAPPY EASTER!
I am spending the day 'relaxing' at home, and part of that was to scrapbook!
I went through a bunch of photos, and found this pair from my nieces 1st birthday party. She's almost 2 now!
I fell in love with the Kaisercraft Base Coat collection, as soon as I saw it! I love the textured backgrounds and how easy it is to "build" a layout from them.... I started off with this textured brick background, and fussy cut the flower section, from a piece of Pink Paislee patterned paper. I then grabbed a Twiddleybitz flourish, and covered it in Heat N Stick Powder, and then a liberal amount of glitter.
The next step for me was to decide on some embellishments to go below the photos. I chose some lace from Alacraft (this one) and then chose some flowers that have been in my stash for an absolute age! The big pink one is from Prima, and is covered in sparkly pink glitter, and the white one I've had even longer, its a shabby looking rose. It was at this point I also chose the buttons and the last flower for up near the chipboard piece, and attached them all using my hot glue gun.
The banner is from Grace Archival, and is a sticker, it is really thin paper though, so I stuck it on some spare card stock, and popped it next to the flower cluster.
This last picture shows half my title - and the sparkly & symbol. I used my label maker, as well as some dies to create the title "Miss B & Aunty Jess"
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the sketch from Stuck?!, which I took inspiration from, and changed it up a little bit... I tend to do that a lot with sketches, hehe
I also took inspiration from Polly!'s Easter weekend Sparkle Challenge!

Scrapbooking with Bright Colours!

Hi again!
I have another scrapbook page to share, one I made last week that I've yet to post...
I started off selecting this photo from my mum and I's trip to the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney... This is a picture of me that I took of myself, leaning up against a rock sculpture and resting while mum took a bunch of photos of fig trees! I used patterned paper from Kaszazz, Echo Park, Pink Paislee and Kaisercraft. I used a bunch of rubons that have been in my stash FOREVER, and popped them on some acetate. I used a flower from Prima and tags from October Afternoon, and Amy Tangerine. The little flair piece is from Findingnana, Honeycomb and Chevron
The title is made using a bunch of different bits and bobs too... Kaszazz Alphabet stickers, Label Maker, and dies from my stash....  The below photo shows you the flower, flair and a bit of the misting I did in the bottom corner in green to pull the flower into the colour scheme.
I am entering this into the Stuck?! sketches January 1st Challenge, I've just flipped the pennant and photo to the other side, as it fit better for me.
Thanks for popping around!

The Greeting Farm - Surfer Anya Thank You card

Hi again! I have another card to share with you today!
I'm on a bit of a crafty roll at the moment!
I staqmped, and coloured my Surfer Anya, using my Spectrum Noir markers, and then fussy cut her out. I then cut a circle using my nesting dies. I stamped the sentiment, from SU! and did some doodling around the edge. The patterned paper in the background was an off cut that was still on my desk from this card and i apparently misnamed it.... it's Pink Paislee. The patterned papers in the banners are My Minds Eye, SU, and Simple Stories.
Here is a close up
I'm entering this into three challenges... The first is the Cardabilities sketch #67, next up are the two Splendid Stamping challenges - Friday's which is Thankyou cards, and DTT Blue and Yellow
