Scrapbook Page - Laugh as much as you breathe...

Hi guys! I have had a serious lack of mojo lately, so decided to try and get some scrapbooking done, to try and bring it back....
I printed my photo, which is from my nieces 2nd birthday party (held at the end of last month), and decided to scrap it, using the bright colours in the photo as inspiration! I grabbed some really old Echo Park Paper (Splash range) and used it as my main paper, I layered it up with some darker blue, and lighter blue card stock, and doodled around the edges. I then mounted my photo on some white card stock, and layered up a couple of pieces of washi tape, specifically #3 and #30. I then selected my embellishments -
I grabbed some paper blooms, as well as a Prima Pleated Flower, which I removed the pearl from and added a Finding Nana button instead. I added a wood veneer heart, from Freckled Fawn Wood Chips, as well as a Resistable Arrow, from Pink Paislee, which I inked with pink ink. To finish off this cluster, I added a Chic Tag and a couple of enamel dots.
This small embellishment cluster contains more Pink Paislee mistable shapes, which were sponged using pink ink, more enamel dots, and another Freckled Fawn wood chip.
My title of the page, is made up of lots of bits and pieces, alphas (I seriously love the look of mixed font titles!) I used pieces from Jillibean Soup Wise Words, Kaisercraft black and white mini alphas, Jillibean Soup Navy Alphabeans, and some random thickers that have been in my stash FOREVER! You can also see, on this photo, I've added an arrow paperclip from Freckled Fawn as well.
I used inspiration from two different places for this layout -

Scrapbooking - My Housemates Cat

HI! I have a scrapbook page to share today, for the Kraft It Up! Challenge
If you know me, you know I'm a little bit of a crazy cat lady (ok, a lot).... So, scrapbooking my housemates cat, Ollie was good fun!
I printed these photos of him sitting on my desk in wallet size, and trimmed them down... I grabbed a piece of kraft cardstock, painted the diagonal lines using white paint, then dribbled a bunch of yellow and green ink down the page. I used patterned paper from Bella Blvd, and some from the Sn@p 24/seven 6x6 paper pad  (the chipboard piece) I tore it into strips and layered it behind my bigger piece of patterned paper. Because it was torn, I didn't have to worry too much about the over laps...
I then gathered some die cuts, as well as a label from Chic tags, Lovely Day and popped it on top of my right hand photo.  I grabbed a couple of wood veneers, these are from SC - Snippets, Speech Bubbles, I added a big green jewel for the O and added the rest of his name using alphabet stickers.
This side shows the title, which is also using more alphabet stickers, layered on to some Washi Tape.
This corner photo features a flair button from findingnana, another wood veneer, which is the heart.
I took inspiration from the Kraft It Up Sketch -

Anyway, have a wonderful Easter long weekend

Scrapbooking Family Photos and Botanical Gardens Photo

Hello!
I have a couple of scrapbook pages to share of what I've been up to recently!
This is quite a photo heavy post, so grab a cuppa and enjoy the read/browse!
This is a page that uses lots of yummy goodies from The Stamp Spot store! I started off with a white piece of cardstock, and before doing anything else, I grabbed my red polka dot washi tape and laid some out along the edges, trying to make it as straight as possible. I then mounted my photo on white cardstock, and chose my patterned paper. I cut a scallop border using my MFT Die-namic using red cardstock. I then focused on my embellishments...
This close up shows some more red polka dot washi tape and some turquoise spotted washi tape as well and put it on some white cardstock and die cut it through the big shot with my Mini-Pennant Die-Namic and stuck it down on top of an overlay. I popped a lovely tag from Chic Tags (Lovely Day) and a crochet flower, which I popped a button from FindingNana (Memory) on top of.
This corner has a little tag with the details and another washi tape pennant. This page fits the requirements for White With 1 challenge, Red and Turquoise!
Now, onto the second page...

I started off with some Kraft cardstock and layered patterned paper (My Minds Eye), and white cardstock on top of it, my photos were printed with a white border, so I didn't have to layer them up at all! Now onto the close-ups
This shows more pennants, made out of the patterned papers. I popped a sticker from Sn@p Life Label Stickers and I wrote my little bit of journalling inside. I popped a glitter brad, and plain coloured brads randomly around the label.
This shows a couple of buttons, and another journalling spot from Sn@p Life
Finally, this last photo shows another FindingNana button, this time from Happy Day and another button with a Kaisercraft bingo card, and another crochet flower. It also shows the doodling I did around the photos, and the title, which is simply Family. This page fits the challenge from KraftItUp which is turquoise, red, orange and white all on a Kraft background!
Thanks for popping around!
