Scrapbooking my Nephew and I

Hi Guys, another scrap page to share tonight, before I go crash (I was going to try and create tonight, but I'm so tired!)
Here it is
I started with some Bella Blvd card stock, and layered it up with some old My Minds Eye paper. I added some die-cuts from Teresa Collins, and a die-cut title using the Silhouette. I added a D-Lish scraps flair, some twine, and some wooden flourishes.

Hello Sunshine - DLish Scraps Inspiration Challenge - Scrapbooking

Hello again! I have a scrapbook page to share with you all today! One of me, and my lovely man.
For this layout, I bought the D-Lish Just Add Paper kit, which I paired with some American Craft frame paper, as well as some Bella Blvd silver embossed black card stock. I also added a couple of paper doilies, and a silver bow, instead of the pink one that came in the kit.
From the inspiration board, I took my cues from the colour scheme, the frames, sketch and the butterflies.

Some Odd Girl - Telephone Mae - Hi!

Back again, this time, with a card for my etsy and madeit stores, because they're feeling a little unloved!
Don't forget the coupon sale in my etsy store, until June 1st... Just use coupon code ASSIGNMENTCLEARANCE to receive 15% off your entire order!
I started by printing the digital stamp - Phone Call Mae (Some Odd Girl) and colouring her using my Spectrum Noir markers. I die cut her out and then selected my papers, which are a mix of Bella Blvd, a no name branded one (the yellow) and Teresa Collins. The sentiment is from MFT and I hand cut the speech bubble, as I couldn't find the matching die. I doodled around all the edges, and added a strip of white satin ribbon, and a trio of flowers.

Some Odd Girl - Digital Stamp - Demure

Hi Lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I had a very relaxing one, I spent time down the coast, at my parents house, and got to see the nephews, and my niece. I also had time to get creative! I have a couple of new cards in store (both etsy and madeit
Anyway, onto my card!
For this card, I started with "Demure" printed, on my desk, and coloured her up, with nothing in particular in mind for her... Which, is so not the way I craft! I then fussy cut her out, and came back to her the next day. I decided on a mostly clean and simple design for this card. I used some really old patterned paper, from when I first started card making. I think it might be Bella Blvd, but I could be very wrong! I layered it up on some black card, and then onto a white card base. I attached some washi tape, and the sentiment, which is a mix of a stamp from Technique Tuesday, and some stickers from My Minds Eye. I added some paper and resin flowers and a few small black rhinestones.

Scrapbooking my Newest Nephew

Hi guys! I've been busy creating more custom cards!
To order custom cards, pop over to my facebook page
On Sunday, I needed a break from cards, so I hit the craft desk, and started my youngest nephews Scrapbook!
For this page, I went through my paper stash, and discovered a bunch of papers by Bella Blvd, that would work perfectly for a boy page! So, I grabbed those out, cut a giant star (using the program paint to draw one, printed it, and traced around it, onto my patterned paper), and then some small circles, using my big shot. I added stickers from My Minds Eye next to the photo, as well as a wood veneer heart (coloured using my spectrum noirs) as well as a flair button (Life in Bokeh)
The title is "So Happy to have you in our Family" and is made up of stickers, from My Minds Eye and Jillibean Soup. I added a small cluster, using a Sn@p sticker, another wood veneer heart, a star button and a grey resin star

Scrapbooking!

It's April 1st, and that means April Fool's Day! It's not a joke, I am actually posting something! I know it's been a little over a week, since I posted anything, I've been a bad blogger!
But, to make it up to you, I do have a scrapbook page to share!
I started out with printing my photos, and then looking through my paper stash for the colour purple... of course, I had nothing! So, I decided on this chevron paper from Webster's Pages and, cut it in a sunburst pattern from the corner. It's a bit "off" as I just cut it using scissors! I then went through my stash, and found some die-cuts from Teresa Collins, for the frame, etc, and notes.
I used other stickers, from My Minds Eye, Bella Blvd, and Jillibean Soup. I used a bunch of flowers, paper and resin, as well as a resin birdy, from D-Lish scraps

Scrapbooking with Moustaches!

Hi Again!
I've had a pretty lazy kind of weekend, I didn't do a whole lot of crafting, just a couple of cards for friends, one was a birthday card, the other a new baby card. I'll share them later in the week :)
In the mean time, I do have a scrapbook page to share -
I grabbed this photo, which I've been meaning to scrapbook a while, and some patterned papers, from Bella Blvd and Echo Park, I also grabbed some plain white card stock. I attached my photo, to a basic gray base (SU!) and then attached some embellishments next to the photo. I used a WOW chipboard polaroid frame, a stamped and coloured instagram stamp, a couple of flowers (from d-lish, of course) and the big moustache was given to me, right after this photo was taken. It clips on to a straw, so you look like you've got a mo while sipping your drink!
The journalling is below the photo, and was done with my motex label maker. I added more flowers, a die cut moustache, and a smattering of sequins.
You can see the close ups below-

Scrapbooking - My Niece

Hi guys! I'm procrastinating today, and one of the things I did while procrastinating, was scrapbook.... I've been meaning to print out some photos of my niece from earlier in the year, and scrapbook them...
I started by printing my photos in black and white, trimming them down to 10cm x 10cm and layering them on some bright pink bazzil card. The main layout is Black card stock, with patterned paper by Bella Blvd, which I zig zag stitched a border onto. I then collected a range of Project Life 3x4 cards from my stash, which I think is Echo Park (I could very well be wrong), the Remember Card is from Sn@p
This is at the base of the journalling card, it has a sticker from Jillibean Soup, a Finding Nana Button and a little Wood Veneer Heart.
This section is up next to the top left photo, and has a chipboard flower (from Bella Blvd), a speech bubble stamped and die-cut (MFT) and a little pink button.
Another wood veneer hear, and a die cut tab (MFT) which has Brianna, 18 months on it.
On the bottom photo, I've added a Typo heart, another button and some words from this My Minds Eye Stickers. In the centre of the photos I've popped a Pink Paislee Artisian Chipboard Star, another Bella Blvd Chipboard flower, and button.
I've used the sketch from the MFT Scrap Sketch #7 and I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge!
Thanks for popping around!

Scrapbooking - My Housemates Cat

HI! I have a scrapbook page to share today, for the Kraft It Up! Challenge
If you know me, you know I'm a little bit of a crazy cat lady (ok, a lot).... So, scrapbooking my housemates cat, Ollie was good fun!
I printed these photos of him sitting on my desk in wallet size, and trimmed them down... I grabbed a piece of kraft cardstock, painted the diagonal lines using white paint, then dribbled a bunch of yellow and green ink down the page. I used patterned paper from Bella Blvd, and some from the Sn@p 24/seven 6x6 paper pad  (the chipboard piece) I tore it into strips and layered it behind my bigger piece of patterned paper. Because it was torn, I didn't have to worry too much about the over laps...
I then gathered some die cuts, as well as a label from Chic tags, Lovely Day and popped it on top of my right hand photo.  I grabbed a couple of wood veneers, these are from SC - Snippets, Speech Bubbles, I added a big green jewel for the O and added the rest of his name using alphabet stickers.
This side shows the title, which is also using more alphabet stickers, layered on to some Washi Tape.
This corner photo features a flair button from findingnana, another wood veneer, which is the heart.
I took inspiration from the Kraft It Up Sketch -

Anyway, have a wonderful Easter long weekend
