The Greeting Farm - I think you’re Fintastic

Hi Guys!

So, at the moment as I'm sure a lot of you have heard, my home state of New South Wales, and most of Australia is burning. The entire place is on fire. This is the worst fire season Australia has seen in a lot of years. Currently, over 12 million acres have burned, 23 people have died and over 400 homes have been lost! I am in a small part of the state that has gone unaffected at the moment. So, I am helping to raise much needed funds for the Rural Fire Service (volunteers that fight these fires). I am donating all proceeds less postage of all card sales between now and the 20th of January 2020 to the NSW Rural Fire Service.

To purchase my cards, please head over to my etsy. Or, if you'd like to donate directly to the Rural Fire Service, head to this link - DONATE HERE

You can see more information about my donations on my facebook page

Now, on to my card, and something slightly less terrifying!
This card was made using the stamp Maisea from The Greeting Farm, coloured using copics and fussy cut out. I have then mounted with dimensional adhesive to a patterned paper card base. The papers are from Echo Park, and the local dollar store (the Kraft one)
I have stamped the sentiment on a piece of white cardstock, using Memento Black ink and Kaisercraft Seafoam ink.
Here's a close up of the mermaid, with Copic colours used below.

Some Odd Girl - Hello

Hello again!

I’ve been back in the craft room, over a couple of sittings, to create this bright and fun card to share.

So to start this card, I coloured this stamp from Some Odd Girl with my copic markers (list below) and set her aside until I had time to make the card.

I had time this evening, after putting Amy (the baby girl) to bed. I used a white card base, layered with black and then white, before popping on some bright patterned papers, these are all from my box of offcuts!!

I then used a sticker from Jillibean Soup layered with more black cardstock, and fussy cut out. I have of course popped the main image up using dimensional adhesive and done my signature doodling all around the edges of each layer.

Here’s a close up for you

Copics used

Couture Creations - Peony friendship card

Hey there!

Two posts in two days 😲

I have another card to share from my creating last night. We reorganised the shared office just two days ago, making it much easier to get in and craft and feel inspired.

So, onto the card! This card uses one of my most recent favourite stamps, from Couture Creations “Pretty Peony”. It’s such an easy stamp to colour up. I’ve used my copics in R24, R32 and R22 to colour these two peonies. I also used patterned papers from Avery Elle and Hampton Art to layer.
The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn “Sophie’s sentiments” and the little bumble bee sticker is from a REALLY old sticker sheet, that I don’t have the name of any more.

I have used the sketch from Just Add Ink and the 3 colour with black and white stripes from Color my heart with my 3 colours being pink, blue and a touch of yellow, this challenge is teamed up with Double Trouble

I hope to get back into the craft room tonight, so I’ll have something to share tomorrow!

Until then, have a great day!!

Gorjuss and MFT Stamps - Friendship Card

Hi Hi!
I'm sharing a quick card with you today, one that I made this past weekend
For this card, I dug out some older stamps, that I haven't coloured in a VERY long time. These are two different Gorjuss Stamps, coloured using my Copic markers, and Spectrum Noir Markers. I layered it up using patterned papers from Simple Stories. I used a doily and the sentiment is from My Favourite Things. I also added some adhesive gel dots.

Some Odd Girl - Friendship Card

Hi guys! Sorry for the delay, but I do have the other card I made to share!
He'll be popping into my etsy, and madeit stores tomorrow!
I received this new cutie in the mail last week, and just had to ink up the little guy! I started by picking out my background paper, which is from Lawn Fawn (which I bought ages ago, and never really got around to using!), and picking some papers that matched, from Echo Park, and Kaisercraft. I added some doodling, and then popped my little guy on to the card. I tried to keep this card non-gender specific...

Stampin' Up! Fresh Vintage and Friends Never Fade

Hey Hey! (I recently went back through a bunch of my posts, and realised most of them start with "Hi There", so changing it up a bit!) I have a quick layered card to share today! I rarely use more than two or three layers on my cards, so this one was a bit of a deviation for me! Including the ribbon, there is 10 (!) layers on this card!!
.
I started off with a Crumbcake base, layered with Blushing Bride and then some heavily stamped Vanilla. I stamped it with the flower image from Sale-a-bration set Fresh Vintage, and the En Francais Background stamp in Crumbcake and sponged the edges. Next I cut out a scallop circle in Crumbcake, and a Circle Nestie in Very Vanilla, which got the same treatment as the background. I added two layers of ribbon, the bottom layer is the Ribbon Carousel's Vintage Seam Binding ribbon in Leather Tan, and some pretty pink ruffled ribbon. The next layers are the image/sentiment which is from Friends Never Fade, and has been stamped in Wild Wasabi and layered on to Vanilla and then Crumbcake, this was popped on with a bunch of dimensionals. I added three paper roses in pink and three pearls to finish off this card.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the sketch over at The Ribbon Carousel, next is the Tuesday Trigger from Moxie Fab World and finally, the Bit O'Green challenge at Simon Says Stamp challenge blog.

We're about half way until my blog candy is drawn, so do get in before the 31st :)

Stampin' Up! Friends never Fade and I create a Friendship card

Hi guys! I hope you all had a fabulous Christmas period! I had such a great Christmas, it was lovely to spend some time with my family. I have a card to share with you today.
I used a Basic Black card base, which I layered with some Basic Gray, which was stamped using the bold 'waratah' flower in Black. Once I was happy with that I wrapped some non-Stampin' Up! Ribbon around it and tied a bow. I then stamped the sentiment image from Friends never Fade in Pool Party and cut it out, I layered it on to a piece of Glitter Paper and then some Basic Black. I rounded the corners before finishing this card.
I used inspiration from the Clean & Simple Sketch for this one, although I altered it slightly to fit my images.
I have some good news to share too! I entered the ICSketches Design Team call they had earlier in the month, and I was lucky enough to be selected for a four month term over there! *Happy Dance* So, keep your eyes open for my first post from them in January!
So, until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Delicate Doilies and I create a card for a friend.

Hi! Today, I finished uni for the semester, and now have three months off before heading back in the new year... So, I came home, relaxed, and was inspired to do some watercolouring, thanks to one of my favourite blog buddies, Annmaree... I made this card
So, I sat with this GorJuss stamp, which I bought a while ago, but haven't coloured very often, as I find her a little difficult to colour nicely... I started off by using darker colours for her clothes, but ditched that idea and switched to pastels instead. I coloured her using my Stampin' Write Markers, and a Blender Pen. Once she was coloured, I cut her out (in two pieces, cause I liked the hair on the first one with dark clothes... typical...) I then sat her to the side to create the rest of the card. The card base is Certainly Celery, layered with a piece of Very Vanilla which has been stamped with the Doilies from Delicate Doilies in So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Pink Pirouette and Sahara Sand. I cut out a scallop circle using the Bigshot, and then embossed it using the Polka Dot embossing folder, and sponged the edges before attaching it to the stamped piece. I then popped the GorJuss image using a whole bunch of dimensionals on the back. Finally, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Hero Arts using Certainly Celery ink and cut it out using my oval punch, I then attached it to a Decorative Label punchie in So Saffron, three little pink rhinestones finish off this card.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Moxie Fab World Celebrating Relationships Challenge, which I chose a card to send to a girlfriend, although this could be for anyone. The second challenge is the Mojo Monday sketch challenge, and last but by no means least, the Lollipop Ladies Sour Worms challenge, with twist of Sparkle... I took my inspiration from the colours, I just muted them a little to work for me :)
As always, thanks for dropping in, I appreciate every comment made, they truly do make my day!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Hello, You and I create a bright Friendship card

Hi guys! I have made yet another card to share with you all! This one is a bright, happy card, to send to a friend to brighten their day....
So, this card is a Whisper White base, layered with Basic Grey and a piece of patterned paper from Echo Park (this paper just makes me smile...), I have then stamped some American Craft Lanterns and coloured them in using my Stampin' Write Markers in Daffodil Delight, Basic Grey, More Mustard and So Saffron, I cut out the lanterns and put some Crystal Effects on the window of the Grey one, and set them aside. Using a scrap piece of Basic Grey, I used a border punch on both sides, and ran some Seam Binding Ribbon down the centre, but before tying a bow, added a length of twine and then tied my bow... I stamped the sentiment from Hello, You in Basic Grey and then lined up my lanterns to finish off this card.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the There She Goes Inspiration challenge, I love the colours! The second is the CardPatterns Sketch, which I have turned on its side, and last but not least the Ribbon Carousel Anything Goes challenge.
Thanks for dropping in!

Stampin' Up! Just Believe and I create a sweet Friendship card

I made a card that wasn't a total struggle! YAY!
This is a Crumbcake base layered with Daffodil Delight Patterns Designer Series Paper stamped the image from Just Believe in Crumbcake and layered some scalloped border in white and Daffodil Delight (am I the only one that noticed that rhymed?) I then stamped the frame in Daffodil and stamped the sentiment, Friends in Crumbcake. I stamped the frame once more on Crumbcake and cut it out and used some pop dots to layer it over some yellow and white Bakers Twine. A bit of faux stitching and some distressing finished off this card!
I am entering this into three challenges.... The first one is the Card Patterns sketch (below), the second is the CR84FN colour challenge, one I really enjoyed (below again) then the Dream Valley Challenge which is to use distressing...
Thanks for popping in, I'm so happy that I created, and it came easily! So, pop into these challenges, and have a go!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Medallion and Vintage Vogue paired together to make Friendship Cards

Hi Again! I have been on a roll recently with my cards, and last night I had to make one more before bed.... I had been thinking of this one for a couple of hours before making it.....
For this card, I knew I wanted to play with this lovely F from Vintage Vogue, and also the Medallion background stamp that my mum recently gave me. I have stamped the F in Basic Black and then masked it off and stamped the Medallion in Rich Razzleberry, tied a ribbon around the base, and mounted the white cardstock to a Basic Black card base, while I was sitting deciding if I was done, I grabbed a few rhinestones and popped them around the circle of the Medallion.
I am entering this into the Less is More Monogram challenge, which scared me at first, as I don't own an alphabet set yet, but, I realised I have a few stamps that will work. Keep an eye out, I've got another on brewing in the back of my mind....
Thanks for dropping by
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! I {Heart} Hearts is perfect for Monochromatic Friendship Cards

I have been in the craft room a while today (I have a stockpile of cards to show you) but, these two I thought I'd post together, they are from the same stamp set, and colours, so why not hey?

Ok... So, these are made using the I Heart Hearts stamp set, from Stampin' Up! I was given this set from a good friend, and love using it because of this. I have a used monochromatic colour scheme for both, using Real Red and Poppy Parade with Whisper White. The first card was made using masking, and is a one layer card, with a sentiment from Well Scripted (which is retired *sad face*) The second, I have used my circle scissors to cut a circle and mounted it using mounting tape, the hearts have been stamped and fussy cut out to "pop" them. I have used a Real Red ribbon and a retired button.
I am entering both cards into Less Is More Monochromatic Challenge and just the second card into Hand Stamped Sentiments which is Paper Piecing.
I also wanted to share with my blog readers that my sister has had her baby, almost a week ago now. She had a very healthy little girl on Sunday last week. They named her Brianna Regina, and she is absolutely gorgeous!
This is Brianna with her older brother Samuel and their "Grumpy" which is what they call my dad, their grandpa. She weighed in at 8lb 9oz.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll be back again tomorrow, to share some of the other cards I have been making, until then, Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sweet Summer and I create a Friendship Card

Hi again,
I really wanted to head back into the craft room today, as I have the day off of work, and the newest Just Add Ink challenge has been issued..... Here is my card to start with....
The challenge this week at JAI, is a sketch challenge, a fairly versatile sketch.... I knew I wanted bright colours, and I wanted to use more Daffodil Delight... It's my favourite colour, yet I don't use it very often, because it has a tendency to over power all other colours... I used the Sale-a-bration stamp set, Sweet Summer, and coloured the images using my Stampin' Write markers....  I'm really happy with how bright and fun this card is... I think it is very summery, and happy...
Thanks for looking, and Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Vintage Vogue ad I create Just Because Cards

Hi There Again!
Sorry for the massive blog changes over the last few days. I wasn't happy with my original layout, so had to change it all! I have a card to share with you tonight... A very Clean and Simple Card!
The stamp set I used was one I got when I first joined Stampin' Up! It's called Vintage Vogue, and I've used two elements on this card that rarely get used... that pretty little flourish, and the big Friends sentiment. I used the challenge colours from Just Add Ink, which were River Rock (a totally underrated colour), Daffodil Delight, and Cherry Cobbler. The ribbon is non-SU! but, matches perfectly to Cherry Cobbler, and I picked up very cheap (10c a metre!) I really should get the rest of the roll next time I'm at the LSS...
Thanks for looking, and come back later today for another card made using these colours...
Happy Stamping!
