A first birthday Card - With a Cow!

Hi ya! I had a custom order pop up the other day from my etsy store (you can also order them at my madeit store), the request was for a first birthday card, featuring a cow, or a peanut... This is the result!
The image is a digi stamp, but I'm not sure what the company is, as it has been in my collection forever, and it's not sorted very well! I coloured her up with my spectrum noir markers, and then die-cut a circle. The patterned papers are from American Crafts, (Amy Tan) and I cut them into a sunburst pattern. I added the cow, some doodling and the sentiment (computer generated) and attached some paper flowers and a resin rose.

The Greeting Farm - 1st Birthday Card

Hiya, I've been creating, quietly! I've been working on some more custom cards, if there's anything you want, pop over to my facebook page, and hit contact me! I should also point out, Friday is the last day to order Easter cards!!
Anyway, onto this card -
For this card, I used one of the Princess Anyas, stamped her, and coloured her up with my Spectrum Noirs. I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye (I think) and paired it with a non branded ombre pink paper. I doodled around the edges. Attached some pink ribbon loops and a trio of sequins.
Here is the close up. I added stickles to her wand and crown

Mermaids and Butterflys with The Greeting Farm - Birthday Card

Hi guys! I made this card the other night, when I couldn't sleep (boo!)
I have added it to my stores, both Madeit and Etsy, so feel free to pop over and take a gander!
I grabbed some left over papers, that were sitting on my desk (because I hate tidying up straight after making a card!) If you scroll down, you can see the two cards the grey and purple papers came from! (Kaisercraft, Sn@p and Teresa Collins papers) I then grabbed the Mermaid Anya stamp and coloured her up, using my Spectrum Noirs, I built up the card, attached Anya using dimensionals and used a sentiment from My Favourite Things. I decided this card needed some more girly touches, so added some paper daisies, from D-Lish, as well as a resin rose and some bling.

Annabelle Stamps - Monster Birthday

Hi guys! Still puttering along, with all my cards, the store is looking nice and full, and don't forget, that for this week only, you can get 20% off your order, with the coupon code BlogLove
Now, on to a card -
I started off by going through ALL my stamps and sorting them out, I need to do this more frequently, I think, as I always seem to use the same kind of stamps, with every card! I had forgotten all about this little monster, from Annabelle Stamps! I inked the little guy up, and coloured him using my spectrum noir markers. Once I was happy with him, I fussy cut him out, and set him aside. I went with a very simple design for this card, I used patterned paper from Echo Park, and stamped the sentiment in the opposite corner to the monster. I finished off the card with my typical doodling, and a trio of rhinestones...

The Greeting Farm - Little guy's birthday card

Heya! I have a couple of cards to share, over the coming days, so keep your eyes peeled :)
This one is a birthday card, that is heading into my store right now!
I started off, by choosing some old papers from my stash... Some REALLY old Bo-Bunny and Cosmo Cricket, that I originally purchased when I first started crafting!! I have used these papers to build the rest of my card, I stamped, and coloured up (spectrum noirs) a TGF image, and trimmed it down to size. I stamped  the sentiment going up the side, and added a trio of rhinestones!

Boys Birthday Card - Bugaboo Digital Stamps!

Good Morning! I'm just popping in, before heading into work, to share a quick card -

I started by printing out the digi image, from Bugaboo stamps, and then coloured him up, using my Spectrum Noir markers, and then selected my papers, I used paper from My Minds Eye, and some black card stock. The patterned paper (the checks), has been in my stash forever! I bought it a few years back, for a swap I participated in, and bought too much! I stamped my sentiment, then added some stick on rhinestones, in black, which I always forget I have!

Tiddly Inks - Monster High Inspired Birthday Card

Hi guys! I've finished my custom orders this evening, which means, I'll be back to creating, just for the store!
This is the last of the custom cards, I hope the customer loves it as much as I do...
The bried, was to create a card, for a six year old, who loves Monster High, and the character - Draculaura, as it is a copy written image, I couldn't use it....

I started out, by printing out the digi - Emmeline, by Tiddly Inks, and colouring her up with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I chose to make her a brunette, as the little girl this is going to, is a brunette too! When I was happy with the image (it took a few goes...) I die cut her out, and selected my papers, from Echo Park, and an off cut from Amy Tangerine. I doodled around the edges, stamped my sentiment (Kraftin' Kimmie), and printed out the "Six Today!" to match. I added four coloured resin roses, and two little diamantés.

Bugaboo - Kids Birthday Cards

Hi guys, I went away for a couple of days, with a good friend, and then ended up working ridiculously early this morning, so I've had the day to myself... I got to crafting, as I still had a few custom cards to make, from my Madeit store, and also a card for my Nephew's 4th Birthday... I will share both of them, in this post, as they are quite similar -
I started by deleting the ball from the puppy dogs hands, being a digi stamp, made this possible, I then added the number in and printed it off, using my ink jet printer. I coloured up the dogs, and numbers, using my Spectrum Noir markers, then set the images aside. I grabbed patterned papers from Echo Park, and My Minds Eye (for both cards), then added doodling around the edges. I added ribbon, buttons and enamel dots to the 1st Birthday card, and the second card got a Happy Birthday sentiment, by Kraftin' Kimmie

The Greeting Farm - Masculine/Boys Card

Hi guys!
Just another quick note, to point you in the direction of my store which currently has 10% off using the coupon code EarlyXmas, until the 10th of October, 2013.
Now, on to my card today... I've got a boys card to share (as I keep selling out of them!)
I got new stamps in the mail, yesterday, from The Greeting Farm, so I had to ink up this little dude (how cute is he?!)... I coloured him up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and trimmed it down to fit behind the polaroid frame, which is from Kaisercraft. I added a sentiment, using stickers from My Minds Eye, and my Dymo Labeller. The patterned papers I've used are from Echo Park, and have been doodled around. I added some Washi Tape in yellow to some white card stock and made some banners out of them. The card base is made from Stampin' Up! Pumpkin Pie card. The embellishments at the top are from D-Lish scraps, and include a star button in red, a wood veneer in a heart shape and two little enamel dots.

Kaisercraft Robot Birthday Card - For boys

Hi guys! I have my monthly Alacraft share today!
The generous people of Alacraft have a monthly give-away of $25 worth of products, all you have to do is pop your email address in here!
Ok, so onto my card -
I stamped, and coloured up my little robot (from Kaisercraft), and then fussy cut him out, using some really good, fine scissors, like the little ones in this pack, I find when trying to cut out images, if I move the image, instead of the scissors, I can get closer and I can cut neater! Anyway, I then went through my patterned papers from Alacraft, and decided on using the boys paper pad (total bargain at $2!) I chose the striped paper, and also the grid papers, and then chose some grey card stock to match with it. I embossed a piece of the grey card, and doodled around all the edges. I stuck everything down, using this tape (still one of my favourites) The printed cog is from the Masculine card making kit, and I've just looped some blue ribbon behind it, before attaching it with foam adhesive. The sentiment is made up of a couple of different stamp sets, but you can find something similar in this set from Alacraft. I then attached the main image panels, and patterned paper to a Matt White Card base. I finished off the card, by sticking down three small adhesive gems, from this rhinestone pack.

Kraftin' Kimmie - "Giggle & Hoot" Inspired 1st Birthday Card

Hello! I have a card to share today, that was totally inspired by this little guy -

This is Hoot from the TV show - Giggle and Hoot. I have a first birthday party to attend tomorrow, and the little guy it is for, loves the show.... Here is the card -
I started off by printing out my sentiment, just using a word document, and a free font... I then die cut it out, and set it aside. I stamped the Kraftin' Kimmie Owl, and coloured it up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, I chose to colour him up using a darker blue, but kept the orange wings... I then die cut a circle around the owl, and then built my card. I used patterned papers from Echo Park (Scoot), and more die cuts...

The Greeting Farm - Happy 1st Birthday!

Hi guys! Hope your weekend is going really well... I had a full on day of socialising yesterday, which was amazing.... Today, I'm puttering around the house, crafting, and heading out to the gym in a little while... On Friday night, one of my friends mentioned they needed a first birthday card for their niece.... So, I sat down and created this -
I started off picking out some pink patterned papers... I chose one from Kaisercraft, and the other one is from Simple Stories. I then grabbed this adorable little stamp, she is from The Greeting Farm - Oliver and Amelia - My Favorite Things, I coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir markers, and fussy cut her out. I die-cut a doily, added a sentiment (partially cut using my big shot, and SU! alphabet dies), and added some doodling, and sequins.

The Greeting Farm - Princess Anya - Very Girly!

Hey guys!
I have a very girly, feminine card to share today!
How adorable is it?! I had a great time making this card. Usually not my style... but anyway!
I used the Princess Anya stamp, coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir markers, and patterned paper (Kaisercraft)  pieced her dress which I shaded with a couple of markers to give some definition. I used made the card up using patterned papers from My Minds Eye and a fun EK Success punch to make the border. I added some Kaszazz lace, and a sentiment from My Favorite Things, and punched it out using a label punch. I added a bit flower, from Prima.
This card will be up in my store soon.
I am entering this card in 3 challenges, the first is the DTT sketch, as well as the Farm Fresh Friday Punch challenge, and finally the Simon Says Stamp, Paper Piecing challenge.

The Greeting Farm Just for You and I create a Boys Birthday Card

Hi guys! I had some time last night to create, so I headed into my craft room armed with a bunch of challenges.... This is what I came out with.
This is a Tempting Turquoise card base, layered with Confetti White and patterned paper from Stampin' Up!'s Brights collection Paper Stack. On top of that is another piece of Confetti White, which I ran through the Big Shot with an embossing folder to create big polka dots. I then added some gorgeous seam binding ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel store and tied a bow. I cut out two nesting labels and stamped my sentiment, which is from Stampin' Up! in Tempting Turquoise ink. This lil guy is another from The Greeting Farm, (I have an ever expanding collection) and is from the Just for You set, I've coloured him with my Stampin' Write Markers and blender pens.
I am entering this into four challenges, the first is the "Case Study" over at the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge blog, which was to case the below card. Next up is the Anyone For Anya? inspiration challenge, I took my inspiration from all the blue in the picture. And finally, I'm entering this little card into 2 Anything Goes challenges, the Ribbon Carousel and Simon Says Stamp.
Thanks for popping by! Don't forget, I do have Blog Candy up for grabs here, and also, there is a 15% off all cards for sale at my MadeIt Store.

The Greeting Farm - Birthday Ian and I create a birthday card for a little boy.

Hi Guys! Another quick post to show you a card I made as a reward for getting through some studying today. I also have some exciting news, I was picked as the "Cream in the Coffee" again, last week for the Play Date Cafe with this card. I was also picked as one of the top three over at Anyone for Anya? with this Masculine Card. I always get a wonderful feeling being recognised for my cards :) Anyway, on to todays card
This is a Baja Breeze card base, which has been lightly sponged, then I have layered Pear Pizzazz card stock and some white cardstock. The squares were cut out of various scraps in my collection and glued down. The ribbon is one I bought a while ago, but don't remember where I got it from. I stamped the Birthday Ian in Staz On and coloured him with my Stampin' Write Markers (pic of colours below). I then fussy cut him out, and attached him using dimensionals. The sentiment is from Grunge Rock and the two is from Timeless Type.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, which I'm just scraping in with. Next up is The Play Date Cafe colour challenge, which I felt leant itself to a card for a little boy... And, the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge, Anything Goes
Thanks for popping by! If you'd like any more info about my card, leave me a comment :)
