Lawn Fawn - Easter Card

Hi guys! I'm back, and I've got an Easter card to share...
I don't make many, as it's not something I've ever really made many of, because I don't send or receive them! Anyway, on to the card
I started by stamping and colouring a trio of bunnies from Lawn Fawn. I found some paper in my stash, that is from My Minds Eye (I believe) and I die cut three circles, using the Big Shot. I then added my doodling inside the circles, as well as around the patterned paper. I stamped a sentiment (also from Lawn Fawn) and an egg, which I coloured with Copics/Spectrum Noir Markers.
Here is the close up

Feeling Sketchy- Week 19!

Hi Everyone! I am here this morning to share my Feeling Sketchy DT post.... It's the start of a new month, which means it's time for a new sponsor.... This is one sponsor I've been hanging out for... So, without further ado, Ribbon Carousel!
Here is the sketch for this week, perfect for busting out some of that hoarded ribbon.... You can't tell me you don't have some...
And, here is my card-
Are you totally surprised to see a card that doesn't have a coloured image on it? It does however have a big bow of ribbon that I admit to hoarding for almost 6months before using it... This ribbon is the 1" Blue/Green Reversible Satin Stitched Edge Ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel store. I honestly don't know why I've been hoarding this Satin ribbon, as it is absolutely stunning! I need more!! >_<
So, don't forget to pop over to the Feeling Sketchy blog and join in with this sketch!

Stampin' Up! Just Believe and I create a Birthday Card

Busy day in the craft room! I have another card to share with you :)
Another clean and simple card... I have used a Crumbcake (Kraft) card base, and sponged the edges in Crumbcake ink. For the main image panel, it is a piece of Riding Hood Red, Mustard Patterned Paper, and a piece of Old Olive. The mustard piece had a circle mask placed over the top, and I sponged More Mustard ink over it. The Olive piece has a touch of sponging on it too. I then attached them all together and stamped the flower silhouette from Just Believe in Black StazOn. I attached them all to a piece of Confetti White Card stock, which I had stamped with a sentiment from KaiserCraft, and then they were attached to the card base. I added three little black pearls, and called this card done :)
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the sketch from CAS-ual Fridays, next up is the colour combo from ColourQ and finally into the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge.

Stampin' Up! Watercolouring with There She Goes Stamps

Ok, so I've been in the mood for watercolouring lately, and haven't been doing many clean and simple cards, but today, I have a clean and simple creation to share
I won a gift voucher for There She Goes stamps, so I bought this ^ set, which is called Dance and one which is called Hibiscus. I stamped the flowers using Staz On onto watercolour paper, and then coloured them using my Stampin' Write Markers and a blender pen. Once I had coloured all three images, I drew a border around them and mounted them on to Black Cardstock, and then they were each mounted on Very Vanilla card base. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! Trendy Trees.
I have taken inspiration from Iwona and her card which can be seen here. I was going to enter this into the TSG challenge, but, by the time I went to link it up, it was closed.... Darn, too slow *sigh*
I will be entering it instead in to Clean & Simple Sketch and CAS-ual Fridays Colouring challenge.
Thanks for dropping by, don't forget, if you're an Australian, head on over to my blog candy giveaway here.
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Picture This and I create a fun Engagement Card

Hi there! I have stamped today, quite a number of things, things I'm not happy with... so I'm not sharing any of those things... instead, I have a really cute and fun Engagement card/Congratulations card for a very in love couple I know...
For this card, I started out with a small card base of 4.25" square of Basic Black, which I have layered a piece of Certainly Celery on and then a piece of Whisper White. On the white, I have stamped the sentiment from Picture This (retired) in Versamark and heat embossed it in Black Embossing Powder. Once it was set, I coloured in the pear in So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie and Certainly Celery, using my Stampin' Write Markers and a Blender Pen. I drew a border in Basic Black and then added some Glossy Accents to the pear to make it a little shiny... Which I think is visible in this photo...
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Less is More Fruit Challenge, and secondly over at Wee Memories CAS challenge.
I hope to head back into the craft room tonight before bed....
So, until next time....

Stampin' Up! Awash with Flowers and I make Just because cards

Hi all, I have been super busy preparing for my team mini launch night, which is happening tomorrow, so haven't been super active on the blog front... but.... I did want to drop in to show you a card I made tonight after getting everything packed up and ready to go....
Just a super quick one before heading to bed... This is my newest acquisition... The Stampin' Up! Two Step stamp, Awash with Flowers. I have used inspiration from the Just Add Ink Challenge, which was to make a paper craft project using your favourite chocolate bar as inspiration.... At the moment, my favourite chocolate bar is the Chunky Kit Kat, yup.... it has to be the chunky kind....
I have used real red on my card, but looking at the wrapper, I'm thinking poppy parade may have been a better choice..... Either way, I'm happy with how this card turned out!
Pop back in the next few days to see photos from our awesome launch event!

Stampin' Up! So Many Thanks and I Heart Hearts for Thank You Cards

Just a quick post this evening, made up a couple of cards tonight, only one that I am happy with.... so, I will show you this one...
This card was fairly quick one for me to put together. I have used the a la carte stamp So Many Thanks (which is only $13.95), and the I heart hearts stamp set to add a bit of interest. I used a few fun, bright colours... Poppy Parade, Daffodil Delight and Certainly Celery. I got inspiration for this card from the Just Add Ink weekly challenge, which was to use the below photo as inspiration... so, I took the bright colours....
The second challenge I am entering this into is the Less is More challenge, which is a one layer card, with the added challenge of Sentiment Focus. I hope this card can be included, while it has the large sentiment, I don't know that it is the focus of this card.... thoughts?
I will hopefully be back in the next few days with more lovelies to show you....
Until then,
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sew Suite and I create cute Because I Care cards

Hi all,
I'm back again with more cards created using the Sew Suite stamp set from the new Stampin' Up! Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue that was released just last week.
.
I have used the little mannequin out of the set, and dressed it up using some non-Stampin' Up! ribbon that is a perfect match for the Stampin' Up! colour Cherry Cobbler.... I also used a retired hostess set which has the cutest sentiments. I am entering this into the Less is More, a touch of red. I love the simplicity of this card, and think it would work well as a card for a small gift, as it about 4" square.
If you want to get your hands on this cute stamp set, email me (jessidee86@gmail.com) or give me a call on 0405 173 237
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sew Suite and I make Thank You Cards

Second Post for today! In my last post, I told you that the new Autumn/Winter Stampin' Up! Mini catalogue has just been released.... So, in this post I thought I'd show you something cute I made with one of my favourite stamp sets from the new mini!
This clean and simple little card is made with Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait and Pacific Point. I have actually gone through my button stash and sewn three little buttons on the 'button card' that is available in this set (which I love love love....) I have stamped the tape measure on the Melon Mambo, added a strip of Pacific Point, and some Peach Parfait ribbon.
I am entering this into the Less is More Sketch challenge, which was one I actually made two cards for, but forgot to take a photo of the second one... *sigh*....
If you love the look of this card, why not get your hands on the limited release Sew Suite stamp set from Stampin' Up!, Just shoot me an email to jessidee86@gmail.com or give me a call on 0405 173 237
Thanks, and Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! I {heart} hearts and I create Mothers Day Cards

And, I'm back.... I have had a fairly slow evening, after a day filled with crafting! ("Hello" to my Stampin' Up! Workshop ladies!) so, I spent some time back in the craft room.
This stamp set, I {heart} Hearts is a new acquisition for me, as it was a gift from a very dear friend and fellow Stampin' Up! demo, Sue Poile (go visit her blog, she is one hugely talented lady!) Anyway, I've been itching to use this set... so I went looking for a challenge to play along with, as I've had my head buried in the sand on the challenge front over the last week or so.... I found the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World, and decided to play along... I loved the clean look of the white space, and the design on the right side in orange with a touch of blue, so I have translated that look on to my card. I used Stampin' Up! colours - Peach Parfait, and Pacific Point. I have stamped the Peach Parfait off once for the first heart, but left the second heart as full strength Peach Parfait. The touch of Pacific Point has also been stamped off once to create a slightly subdued blue...
I love how this turned out! Don't forget to check back in the morning to see the new mini autumn/winter catalogue!
Until then,
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Because I Care and I make Thank You Cards

Sorry it has been quiet on the blog front, but with some dramas happening and then falling ill, I have been completely uninspired to create anything.
This clean and simple card uses the stamp set Because I care, which is a level one hostess set, either host a workshop with sales totals of $300 or purchase product of $300 to receive this set for free! I have stamped the Hydrangea in black in and then coloured it in with my stampin' write markers. I am entering this into the Just Add Ink just add stamps challenge, which was to just use stamps, ink and cardstock, no extra embellishments.
Thanks for looking, and happy stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration So Happy For You makes fun Birthday Cards

Hi all,
I have something crafty to show you after a short hiatus. I have a male friends birthday coming up, so I needed to make a card.
Now, this isn't a typically male card, but I think my friend will like it. I have used a few inspiration spots for this one, the first being the colour challenge over at Just Add Ink, the masculine challenge over at Less is More, and the birthday challenge over at SUOnly (which was incidental). I used the Sale-a-bration set So Happy for You, and stamped the star image using Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry. I embossed the bottom half of the card using the Big Shot, and stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry, a little bit of Whisper White Grosgrain finishes this card off.
Don't forget, you have 1 week left to get this stamp set for free! All you need to do is spend $100 or more, and you get to pick one of the Sale-a-bration sets for FREE, so, it's time to fish out your wishlists and get ordering! Call me on 0405 173 237 or shoot me an email
Until next time,
Happy Stamping!
