The Greeting Farm - Shaped birthday card

Evening,
Just a quick share tonight, before I head to bed...
For this card, I die cut a pennant shape, using the Silhouette *LOVE* and then grabbed some patterned papers, from a no name stack, and a Kaisercraft stack.I doodled around the edges, and added some lime green ribbon. The sentiment is made up of two different brands, Simon Says Stamp and PTI. The main image is a The Greeting Farm stamp, mixed with a Gorjuss stamp, and has been coloured using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I added more doodling, and finished off the card with some paper roses, and a resin daisy.

Kraftin' Kimmie- Bookmark

Hiya! I told you I'd be back to share another project... this is scheduled for today, so I'll be back....
I started off by picking out some patterned paper, and my stamp for this one.. I used patterned paper by PTI, and trimmed it down, doodled around the edges and then inked up my Kraftin' Kimmie stamp. I coloured her using my Spectrum Noir markers and trimmed her out. I laid down some black grosgrain ribbon, the popped my Kimmie up on dimensionals. I gathered some embellishments, a star button, a blue button and a red brad. I then layered them up using tape and foam adhesive. The top of the bookmark has a button and some embroidery twine.

Saturated Canary - Lovely Blank Card

Hiya! I have a card to share today, that I made the night before last, that is now zooming it's way to a wonderful family member for their birthday!
I started by printing out the Lovely digital stamp (currently on sale for this challenge!) and then, I picked out the paper I wanted to use... In this case, I picked out some PTI paper, that has some gold scattered leaves in it... I then coloured up Lovely, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and die cut a spellbinders shape around her. I layered the patterned paper on white card, doodled around the edges with a SU! gold marker and popped some pretty gold ribbon down, and decided to add some dimension, using some flowers...
I've used a Prima red flower, some Kaisercraft paper blooms and a couple of tiny, resin roses....
Here is the close up...
I originally used the sketch from Monday Lunch time sketch, until I realised my ribbon was going the wrong way... I'm going to link it up anyway... and hope for the best!

Saturated Canary - Teen / Tween Birthday Card

Hi guys! I've got a teen or tween girl card to share today!
Here it is -
I started by stamping this rubber stamp, by Saturated Canary, and colouring her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I decided to colour her hair in purple, as she looks like a "free spirit" I then had to pick out my papers, I must admit, I don't have a big collection of purple papers... I don't particularly like using the colour purple, but really couldn't resist! I received some lovely papers from Gayatri from Handmade by G3 a little while ago, they are PTI, and had this fun purple spotted, and numbered piece in there, which went awesomely! I also used some yellow patterned paper from Sn@p and layered it all on white and Elegant Eggplant card stock. I then stamped a sentiment (maybe a Hero Arts one, I'm not sure... SORRY!) and a MFT speech bubble which I trimmed out and added some pearls, that I'd coloured with an alcohol marker to match the papers.
Here is the close up - I did some doodling on this chicky, with a white gel pen...

The Greeting Farm - Wild Sprouts Jessica

Hi Again! My mojo looks to have returned a bit, a clean up has happened, as well as getting some scrapbooking done... So, here goes!
This is a new digital stamp for me, Wild Sprouts Jessica, I HAD to get her, because she has glasses, and she shares my name :) I actually won her from a Splendid Stamping challenge, and it's the first time I've used her... I printed her on Blending card, and then coloured her up with my Spectrum Noir markers. I then trimmed her out, and built my card. I used patterned papers from Kaisercraft, (that I've had for AGES!) I layered it all up onto Kraft and popped some wider Grosgrain ribbon on top. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and I cut it in half so I could fit it on my base. Here's a close up...
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Splendid Stamping Farm Fresh Friday - Something New challenge. I also noticed that Simon Says Stamp has the same challenge, so entering it there too. And finally, the Anyone for Anya challenge, which is this inspiration pic. This is the closest to dark blue I have in my stash at the moment!

MFT - A La Modes - Birthday Girl

Hello! It's coming up for a full week of posting! Are you totally sick of me yet??? Turns out, having a whole bunch of new stuff from the craft show has re-ignited my mojo! I have another card to share -
I started out knowing I wanted to use a new addition (that arrived in the mail last week) the Papertrey Ink Framed set, and I knew I wanted to make this Birthday Girl (MFT) look like she was in a polaroid picture. I coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and coloured the background in a neutral grey, so she wasn't up against a stark white background. I used papers from Simple Stories and Authentique (that orange has been on my desk since this card....)I then used the new Faux Crochet border die-namic and mounted it on some grey card. The whole card is mounted on Kraft card base and then I added a rolled flower with a couple of crochet flowers behind it to mimic leaves.
I am entering this into the Splitcoast Stampers MFT Sketch #86

Gorjuss Princess with Teddy Bear and I make a birthday card

Ok, so once again, it has been quiet on my blog... But, I do have a reason... I have an assignment due this week, as well as some unexpected bad news, so, I haven't had any craft mojo... at all! Until, today... I had a lovely friend drop round, and bring me flowers *squee!*
And, I got to colour in a stamp I received in the mail a few days ago, that I hadn't had time to play with yet.... I also received the Bloggess' book in the mail on Thursday, so my nose has been buried in it! It's just as funny as her blog, and just as scattered and awesome.... Anyway, onto my card -
I used some cardstock mum had cut up for me last time she was here (I think it is Cherry Cobbler, but could be wrong..) and patterned papers from Simple Stories Fabulous 6x6 Paper Pad, My Minds Eye and one a little piece from some 6x6 papers Annmaree sent me. The oval is cut out using my newest addition to my ever growing Die collection - Spellbinders Classic Ovals... I then put lots of dimensionals on the back of this Gorjuss Image and attached her. I coloured her using my Stampin' Write Markers, and a Blender Pen. If you know me, you'd know I can't go past putting ribbon on a card right now.... And this on was no exception... I used Ivory Cotton Twill  and some Stampin' Up! Seam Binding Ribbon to tie a bow. I stamped the sentiment, (from PTI) and added some silver stickles to her crown and her teddy's crown and three little rhinestones to finish off this card.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the sketch from iSpy Sketches, next up is the two anything goes challenges over at Ribbon Carousel and Simon Says Stamp
Thanks for dropping by :)

Feeling Sketchy Week 4 - Kindness Matters with Paper Piecing

Another Monday has arrived, which means it's time for the newest sketch at Feeling Sketchy! The sketch is one I thought I would struggle with, but as I sat down to create, I was pleasantly surprised!
I set myself a challenge for this card, it was to use only scraps (except the base card.) I trawled through my box of half cut papers, and came across this black spotty paper and some dictionary print (from Kaisercraft) The pink chevron paper is from My Minds Eye. I started with the polka dot paper, and carefully stamped and embossed a lace border (MME) in white. The butterflies (from PTI) are stamped on patterned paper, and carefully cut out and popped on to white die cut butterflies (die cut from PTI too) they were then layered onto black circles and attached to the dictionary print. I tied a Pretty in Pink bow (scrap piece of ribbon) and attached it to the card. This card was finished off with a Kindness Matters sentiment, from the Stampin' Up! set of the same name.
Check out this weeks sketch -
F-Sketchy 4
I'm also linking this up to the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World....  I was inspired by the colours (not so much the black) and the butterflies :)
Don't forget to pop over to the blog and play, or share some love with my fellow sketchettes :)

There She Goes, Dance like no-one is watching Card

Hi guys! I had to have another play in the craft room this evening, and came out with a card that makes me smile :)
This is quite a large card (for me anyway) it is 7.5 inches tall by 4.25 inches wide. I started out with a Very Vanilla card base, and layered 2 pieces of patterned paper on it (Kaisercraft and October Afternoon), and some more gorgeous ribbon! I used this one from the Ribbon Carousel and tied a big bow. The lovely sentiment is from There She Goes and is a beautiful saying. Something I think we all need to take a little time to do.... Next up, I stamped three gorgeous butterflies from PTI and coloured them using my Stampin' Write Markers. I then attached the blue ones just using double sided tape, but the yellow one has a dimensional stuck to his back to make him pop :)
I am entering this into the Play Date Cafe challenge, the colours appealed to me straight away. I took inspiration from February Muse Karola Witczak over at CASE Study (the elongated card, and the general layout, also the touch of stitching...) and of course over at Ribbon Carousel Challenge
Thanks again!
