MFT Stamps - Pure Innocence - Feline Better

Hi Guys!
I've got a clean and simple card to share today.
For this card, I used the MFT stamp, Pure Innocence Feline Better stamp, coloured with my copic markers, and paper pieced using some no name brand paper from a local discount store. I layered this little chicka on a die cut tag (from the silhouette), and popped on a die cut silver, glitter border piece, as well as a smattering of silver sequins.

The Greeting Farm - Mermaid "Just because" card

Hi Hi! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine's Day, Nick and I pretty much ignored it, way too much stuff to plan for the wedding, to worry about Valentine's. We did go and see "Deadpool" at the cinema, on Saturday, and I got to craft! Here is one of the cards I created!
I have been keeping an eye out, at The Reject Shop (a cheap variety store, locally) They have been getting some wonderful paper pads in, including a tropical one, so I grabbed it, and a gold, and pink one. I decided this The Greeting Farm stamp would go perfectly with these papers. I coloured up the Mermaid Anya, using a mix of Copic Markers, and Spectrum Noir Markers, and fussy cut her out. O used my big shot and circle dies to create the cuts, and stamped a really old sentiment on there, surrounding it with a trio of sequins.

Some Odd Girl Wishes - Blank Fairy Card

Hi Hi! I spent yesterday in creative heaven, you know, those days where everything just goes right?! Yeah, those ones!
Anyway, I made this card... and apart from a small burn from the hot glue gun, it kind of just fell together!
For this one, I started with Wishes, which I stamped, and coloured up, using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I actually stamped her twice, and fussy cut her skin out of the second colouring, just so I could blend her dress, and hair easier, with out worrying about going outside the lines! (please tell me I'm not the only one ;) )
I grabbed some paper, from a no - name branded paper pad, and then a gold foil doily, as well as a Large Prima Flower, and some paper, and metal flowers. I fashioned a heart from a small piece of gold coloured wire and popped it in as well. The final touch to Wishes, was adding some glitter to her wings.

The Greeting Farm - Blank Card

Hi guys! I've been puttering around, crafting, but not really feeling the need to blog everything... If you've been following me on Instagram you'll have seen my little snapshots of my craftiness. I have also been busy making up custom cards for my store!
This little card was a just playing around card, there was no set sentiment, or theme in mind, I was just getting inky...

I grabbed my papers (from the few pre-made piles) and layered them up on a light aqua card base. The patterned papers are from Sn@p and Cosmo Cricket, and I've doodled around the edges. I bought some ribbon from Spotlight the other day (how could I not, when they were 49c a roll?!) I layered some thin white satin ribbon and then printed my sentiment, which is computer generated. I stamped and coloured my image, which is from The Greeting Farm (my favourite things set), and fussy cut her out. I added a trio of rhinestones and some glitter to her hair baubles.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Autumn Fairy with Foxes Blank card

Hi again! I'm going through a blank card stage at the moment it seems... This one I had a lot of fun with -
I started by stamping this sassy Kraftin' Kimmie fairy, and colouring her up, using my Spectrum Noir markers, I also stamped a couple of foxes, from Gorjuss, underneath her mushroom. I then put her aside, and played with some papers, I used patterned papers from My Minds Eye, (All Spice, Blink of an Eye, and a Christmas one from last year). I doodled around the edges, and added some reversible ribbon (it's gold on the other side...) and added some more doodling, and two trios of rhinestones... Oh, on her wings, I also added some stickles... Because every fairy needs glittery wings!

Alacraft and Kraftin Kimmie Card

Hi guys! I've been epically busy doing uni work, assignments and online exams... but... I'm now done for the semester! Woohoo! I also desperately need to clean up my craft desk! I did make this card while I was procrastinating on my last assignment....
I started out by inking up a new stamp in my stash, which is by Kraftin' Kimmie, and colouring her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then grabbed my stash of wonderful items from Alacraft

I grabbed some yellow patterned paper, that matched the dress perfectly, then mounted it on yellow card, and a white card base. I had my ribbon trims out as well, and found this lovely lace and some rick rack ribbon from this pack, this is a bargain pack, three generous sized rolls of ribbon for only $2! They come in a huge range of colours too! Next up, I wanted to make this a super girly card, so out came the flowers and pearls! I used one of these flowers, and trimmed off the sprays and readded them using hot glue, in positions that suited me, I also used two flowers with diamante centres and some yellow craft flowers from my stash. I added a couple of little stick on pearls, which I'd trimmed from the attached pearl sheets
Here is the close up (sorry for the blurry photo, I couldn't get a good close up!)

The Greeting Farm - Rain, Snow, Shine

Hello Again! I've got another card to share with you today! One I made yesterday before work, it's currently available in my MadeIt Store.
This card features Anya from Rain, Snow and Shine, which I have to admit is one of my favourite sets to colour/paper piece. I used my Spectrum Noirs to colour her up, and patterned paper from My Minds Eye to paper piece her top (and make the rest of the card)  I used some seam binding in Siam from Ribbon Carousel to make the bow. To make the ribbon flat again after it'd been scrunched up in my ribbon box, I used some Washi Tape to attach it to my work bench, then grabbed my heat gun and gave it a quick blast. I added a little Prima flower centre to the middle of the bow. Here's a close up

CC Designs Cherrie with Tag

Hi guys! I'm all moved, and slowly getting unpacked, got most things done, just a few more craft boxes need to be unpacked which should happen this afternoon.... Here is the last of the cards I've been saving to show you -
This was a Tickled Pink CC Designs stamp I got given, and the first time I've used her! I stamped her, and coloured her using my Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut her out. The main card base has been stamped with white craft ink using the Woodgrain back ground stamp and layered up with some patterned paper from My Minds Eye. I tied a bow using some Vintage Seam Binding ribbon in Siam Pink (I think) and then attached my image panel. I popped Cherrie up with some dimensionals and added some pretty paper flowers from D-Lish Scraps. I rounded opposing corners, and called this card done.... :)
I used inspiration from the Anyone for Anya? blog with their weekly sketch.
Thanks for dropping by, I'm heading out to do some grocery shopping (bleh)

Kaisercraft Butterfly stamps and Patterned paper on a Blank Card

Hello! Day 2 of my 4 days off of work, and I had a quiet one at home, with watching movies and lazing around... I got into the craft room this evening, and created, although, I'm not overly happy with the results, I think my mojo has gone walkies... So will be getting out of the house tomorrow, and clearing my head
This is a Baja Breeze card base, layered with Lucky Limeade and some patterned paper by Kaisercraft. I cut out the circles using my Big Shot and layered them in Basic Gray and White. I stamped, and coloured my butterflies, the first two in Gray and the final one with Baja Breeze, which I covered in sparkly holographic embossing powder to make it 'pop' I added a strip of Celery Grosgrain Ribbon and tied a bow.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the sketch from iSpy Sketches, next up is the colour combo from The Play Date Cafe, and finally, the Ribbon Carousel Spring Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to head on over to Feeling Sketchy and join in with our first ever sketch, you have until 6am (AEST) Monday to enter!

Stampin' Up! Bird on a Branch and I create a Springtime Blank Card

Hi Guys!
Back again with another card to share before bed! :)
This is a fairly basic card, I have used a Confetti White card base, layered with patterned paper from Kaisercraft, although, I felt it was too bright for this card, so I toned it down using plain vellum. I added a small piece of So Saffron card stock, layered with some Confetti White card which I'd run through the Bigshot with a woodgrain embossing folder. I added some pretty pink ruffled ribbon, and tied a bow. The main image is from the retired Stampin' Up! set Bird on a Branch and has been stamped using Stampin' Write Markers and sponged with Bashful Blue. I added three little Rhinestones and left this card blank, with no sentiment.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Embellish Magazine challenge, next up is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, and finally The Paper Players Spring Challenge.
Thanks for popping by!

Stampin' Up! Top Note Die and I create a stamp-less card!

Ok, so you guys know by now I have a huge stamp addiction yes? Well, I've been eyeing off the UnstampaBelles challenge for a few weeks now, and finally had an idea I wanted to play with...
Ok, so this is a fairly basic card, but I have to ease myself in to cards with out stamps... I have used the Top Note Die on the top section, in My Minds Eye paper, and some Basic Black card. I then layered it onto some White and added some faux stitching. I placed some rhinestone flourishes and then using a little birdy chipboard, traced it onto some Tangerine Tango Designer Series Paper and cut him out. I used some dimensionals to stick him to the image panel, and then mounted the whole kit and caboodle on to a Basic Grey card base...
This card not only fits the UnstampaBelles challenge of Autumn and stitching (I was inspired by autumn colours), it also follows the sketch from The Stamp Spot, and the colours from ColourQ.
Thanks for dropping by!
I have a regular stamped card to show you too, come back later! :)

Stampin' Up! Elegant Lines and Beautiful Wings with the Bigshot makes cards easy!

Hi guys! Hope all you mums out there have had awesome Mother's Day, both here and in the States. I spent mothers day with my mum. We crafted, it really was win win! We both decided we were going to make white on white cards for the Less is More challenge blog. Here is my version

I used Whisper White cardstock and some vellum in this card. This came together quickly and easily, because I used the Big Shot! which my mum got for Christmas last year. Mum has the Elegant Lines embossing folder, which I didn't like in the catalogue, but after using it, find it easy and fun to work with. I also used the Beautiful Wings Embossolit for the Big Shot, which cuts and embosses all in one! At the bottom of this card, I have added a strip of non Stampin' Up! lace which just finished this card off perfectly. Head on over to my mum's blog to see her 3 (!!) uploads to the white on white challenge!

Stampin' Up! Natures Nest makes Masculine Cards easy!

Hi all, another few quiet past days, but... I have been crafting! I had a short but fun filled craft morning with Kim and Sue, my wonderful team mates. The first card we made was using the stamp set Natures Nest, which I do not own, but after using it, will have to put it on the wishlist.
I hate to admit it, but when Kim pulled out these colours, I groaned.... I generally don't use Green, or Cajun.... but the colours here are - Cajun Craze, Garden Green, Not Quite Navy, and Whisper White. After making my card though, I love the colour combo, and even more the card that came out of it.....
Thanks for looking, hopefully the girls will have a chance to pop their cards up soon.
Until then, Happy Stamping!
