The Greeting Farm - Digital Stamp Birthday Card

Hi ya! I'm back to share another little guys birthday card!
This one is in my store as well, as I seem to go through boys cards way quicker than any others!
The other week, I printed off a bunch of digital stamps, ready to colour up. This one, is from The Greeting Farm, I coloured him, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and then cut it out, using a circle die in the Big Shot. I used patterned paper from October Afternoon (a really old collection), and some Baja Breeze, Limeade and Basic Gray card stock, from Stampin' Up! I embossed the blue, and green pieces and doodled around the edges of all of them... The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie and I've added a paper clip and enamel dot.
Here's the close up

Kaisercraft Butterfly stamps and Patterned paper on a Blank Card

Hello! Day 2 of my 4 days off of work, and I had a quiet one at home, with watching movies and lazing around... I got into the craft room this evening, and created, although, I'm not overly happy with the results, I think my mojo has gone walkies... So will be getting out of the house tomorrow, and clearing my head
This is a Baja Breeze card base, layered with Lucky Limeade and some patterned paper by Kaisercraft. I cut out the circles using my Big Shot and layered them in Basic Gray and White. I stamped, and coloured my butterflies, the first two in Gray and the final one with Baja Breeze, which I covered in sparkly holographic embossing powder to make it 'pop' I added a strip of Celery Grosgrain Ribbon and tied a bow.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the sketch from iSpy Sketches, next up is the colour combo from The Play Date Cafe, and finally, the Ribbon Carousel Spring Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to head on over to Feeling Sketchy and join in with our first ever sketch, you have until 6am (AEST) Monday to enter!

The Greeting Farm and I create a Masculine Thank You Card

I was in a total colouring mood this evening, and decided to have a play....
I decided from the offset that this lil guy was going to be a "Ginger Ninja", so set to work colouring his hair. I started with So Saffron as the base, then a fair bit of Pumpkin Pie and finally a touch of Tangerine Tango on the ends and blended it all up with my blender pen... I love his hair! I used patterned papers from two different My Minds Eye 6x6 paper pads and some of the Stampin' Up! Denim Ribbon (I need more of this!) I mounted the lil guy on a white circle cut out with my nesties and attached him using mounting foam. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! set, Kindness Matters, which has been stamped with Island Indigo. The whole shebang has been mounted onto some Tangerine Tango card stock.
I am entering this into the TGF Farm Fresh Challenge, to Case Rachels card and the colour challenge from the Play Date Cafe colour challenge.

C.C. Designs Hansel and I create a Just for You card

Hi There! I wanted to share my first post for The Stamp Spot, as on of the fabulous Design Team.
Ok, on to my card
This is Hansel from C.C. Designs. I think he is the most adorable little fellah ever! I coloured him with a pack of Derwent pencils and some Mineral Turpentine (you can use Baby Oil, or Gamsol) to blend the colours. I stamped him a second time onto a Spellbinders Nesting Circle and sponged the edges with Distress Ink in Tumbled Glass. The background is Lucky Limeade cardstock, layered with bunting paper from My Minds Eye, some punched Daffodil Delight card and some embossed Sahara Sand card. On top of the yellow is a piece of Brown Satin Ribbon. The second little circle has the same treatment as the larger one, and has been attached to the card using a piece of Honeydew Twine from the Twinery. Below the sentiment is a tiny little star brad that has been in my stash forever, and finally has a home :)

I am also entering this into the Deconstructing Jen Sketch challenge
Don't forget to head over to the challenge and enter for your chance to win some lovely goodies!

The Greeting Farm New Parents and Stampin' Up! Sincere Salutations and I create a Birthday Card

Hi guys! I'm back again today to show you a card that I made up :)
I used a Basic Gray card base and layered it with Calypso Coral and some patterned paper from KaiserCraft
and some twine with a random button from my stash. The Lil guy is the dad from The Greeting Farm's New Parents stamp set, and has been coloured using my Stampin' Write Markers on watercolour paper. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!'s Sincere Salutations and has been stamped in VersaMark and heat embossed using white embossing powder. The Brads are from Stampin' Up!'s Sale-a-bration freebies :)
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Colour Q challenge, which included the retired colour Dusty Durango, which is a colour I don't have so, I tried matching it with the closest that is a current colour.... Next up is the Cardabilities Sketch, which I have put a bit of a spin on.
Thanks for popping by!

Stampin' Up! Elements of Style and I create a Birthday Card

Hi Guys! Today I had a wonderful crafty day, with the girls from my stamp club, we all got inky and made up some cute frames, and a matching card.... I forgot to take a photo of my frame before I gave it to my sister, and I will save the card to show later.... I have a different card to show you today :)
I used a Basic Grey card base, which I layered with Wisteria Wonder and a piece of Very Vanilla. The Vanilla card has been masked with some post it notes, and stamped with the floral image from Elements of Style and coloured using the Wisteria Wonder, and Lucky Limeade ink pads. I then drew some thin lines using the pen tip of the Basic Grey Stampin' Write Marker and a ruler. The sentiment is from an unknown stamp set, and was stamped using Lucky Limeade. The hummingbird was stamped a few times on the vanilla, with out re-inking to get a faded appearance, then I stamped one separately and cut it out and attached it using dimensionals. I added a few rhinestones, and finished off this card.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, and next up, the CR84FN colour challenge
Thanks for popping by :)

This is a Pacific Point card base, which I have layered with Daffodil Delight and Melon Mambo cardstock/patterned paper. I have also cut a border from Pacific Point, and layered it on top of the Melon Mambo and Daffodil Delight. I have the cut some Lucky Limeade Ruffled Ribbon and tied a triple bow. The main image panel is mounted on Melon Mambo, and has three hearts stamped onto it, and then the Lucky Limeade one is popped using dimensionals. The sentiment is from My Favourite Things. I added three little rhinestones to finish off this card :)

Stampin' Write Markers and Basic Phrases and I create a Congratulations Card

Hi guys! I have been crafting, just not blogging! Oops! I do have a couple of cards to show you and a couple of scrapbook pages coming too! Here is the first card, I made it for my Godmothers daughter, who found out that she was accepted in to her chosen university degree this week! (congratulations Karina!)
I used a Whisper White card base, and layered it with some Old Olive designer series paper (from the Brights Stack), sponged the edges in Craft White Ink. I then layered some white ribbon, and Lucky Limeade ribbon on top. The main image panel is vellum, and has a GorJuss image, watercoloured with my Stampin' Write Markers and fussy cute her out. I stamped the sentiment from Basic Phrases in VersaMark and embossed it with White on some Pink Pirouette card stock and layered it (skewed) on some Pear Pizzazz card stock. A few pink rhinestones finishes off this card.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Ribbon Carousel Sketch challenge, I really really struggled with those skewed panels, but took inspiration from Design Team member Danielle Daws. The second challenge is the DYSU Patterned Paper Challenge and last but certainly not least is The Stamp Spot Back to School Challenge. Which, as this is going to a new student, I think is appropriate.
Thanks for dropping by!
Happy Stamping :)

Stampin' Up! Sale-a-bration Sneak Peek Everyday Enchantments and Friendly Phrases

Hi guys! I have a couple of cute projects to share with you today. First up is a desk calendar
And, there is a matching card! This is super unlike me, I don't usually make anything so matchy matchy...
So, these are made with the same "ingredients", Poppy Parade card bases, Everyday Enchantments Designer Series Paper (A sneak peek at Sale-a-bration 2012!), Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Beautiful Wings Embossolits and the stamp set I used is Friendly Phrases. The designer series paper is absolutely to die for! I looked at it in the Sale-a-bration catalogue, and I didn't particularly like it, the colours seemed a bit weird together, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade, Very Vanilla and Soft Suede. But, when I saw it in real life, it exceeded my expectations!
So, how do you get the Everyday Enchantments Designer Series Paper? Well, just spend $100 between the 24th January 2012 - 31st March 2012, and you can receive it for free! It is limited release, so once Sale-a-bration is over, it's gone for good! So, get out your wishlists, and let me know if there is anything I can help you with!

Stampin' Up! Up, Up and Away and Friendly Messages and I create a fun card

Hi guys, I have been in the craft room a couple of times over the last few days (woohoo!) I don't have a whole lot to share, although, I have made three cards.... This is the first of them...
I used a White card base (which is unusual in itself) I layered it with some Pool Party which I'd sponged a stripe onto using some Pool Party ink. I stamped the balloon bases onto the Pool Party and then with the balloons, I stamped them on a scrap of white in Real Red, Lucky Limeade and Melon Mambo, cut them out and popped them onto the base. I stamped the sentiment, which is from Friendly Messages and added a few rhinestones.
I am entering this in to the Just Add Ink inspiration challenge, and the Clean & Simple fall to layout 170
Thanks for dropping round...
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Grunge Rock, and Extreme Elements make a teenage birthday card

Today has been an epically long day... I had to go to work this morning, and open the shop, which meant being there by 4am (yup, 4am exists as a time....), so after getting home and napping, I had most of the day free... So, I made a couple of cards to share with you. Here's the first :)
Ok, so this is a Basic Grey card base, which I have layered with Real Red (which was run through the Big Shot with the Polka Dot embossing folder) I then stamped two scrap pieces of Basic Grey using the diamonds from Grunge Rock, and glued them in place. I then turned my attention to my main image panel. I have used stamps from Extreme Elements and Grunge Rock, in Real Red, Lucky Limeade, Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight and Basic Grey. The Guitar has been popped on dimensionals. I layered this panel on another piece of Basic Grey and then glued it to my embossed piece. I wrapped a piece of Real Red ribbon around the card and popped on a retired Basic Grey Corduroy button to finish it off.
I am entering this into the Stamping 411 sketch challenge which closes soon, so head over and have a go...
Thanks for dropping by!
Happy Stamping! :)

Stampin' Up! Growing Green and I create a Sympathy card using a Brayer

Hi guys! I had a lovely weekend with my family, as it was my niece (Brianna 4 months old) and Samuel (22 months) had their Christening, and my lovely older sister asked me to be their Godmother! I was so humbled that she and her husband and asked me. I don't have any photos yet of the day... Hopefully soon! So, I didn't get much of a chance to craft over the weekend... Although, I do have a card to share today :)
Ok, so this is a Early Espresso card base, which has been layered with Very Vanilla (the littlest bit poking out) I then got out a piece of Gloss Card stock and with my brayer coloured it in using Certainly Celery, Pear Pizzazz, Lucky Limeade, Wild Wasabi and Old Olive. Once I'd got the colour variation I wanted, I stamped the leaf from Growing Green in Early Espresso and the sentiment from Because I care.
I am entering this into the CAS-ual Friday Almost Monochrome challenge.
Thanks for stopping by!
As always, Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Trendy Trees and I create a Thank You card

Well, it is my last week of being a guest designer over at Just Add Ink, and I just want to say a massive Thank You to the wonderful ladies over there! This weeks theme is Just Add - Something that has been in your stash for ages without use... I decided on the Trendy Trees stamp set, which hasn't seen much ink lately...
I started off with a piece of white card stock, brayered So Saffron, Peach Parfait, Calypso Coral (new in colour), Real Red and a teensie bit of Cherry Cobbler. I then sponged some hills using Lucky Limeade (new in colour) I stamped the tree and sentiment (both from Trendy Trees) in black and sponged some Old Olive underneath for shadows... I layered the image panel on Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla, and mounted it on Lucky Limeade card base, I finished it off with some vanilla ribbon that has been in my stash since I first started card making!
Be sure to head over to Just Add Ink, and check out what the other designers have created!
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! French Foliage paired with Curly Cute and I create a one layer Thank You Card

Hi guys! I have been in a massive stamping slump lately, I haven't crafted since Monday, I've tried but every time I sit down, inspiration leaves me.... Tonight though... I was determined!
I started with a Confetti White base, masked it down one side using some Post-It Notes, then stamped and embossed some leaves from French Foliage in clear. Once I'd heat set them, I started my sponging. I started with Certainly Celery, then Pear Pizzazz a touch of the new In Colour Lucky Limeade, and then on the very edges some Old Olive. I then stamped over the top of this all the text stamp from French Foliage, and where it was on the leaves, I went over it with a sponge to remove it. I then took off the post it notes and stamped the Thank You from Curly Cute in Lucky Limeade.
I am entering this into the Less is More one layer challenge which is to use Ink. Make sure you drop in for some inspiration from Mandi and Chrissie and the rest of the people entering, some wonderful works of art!
Thanks for stopping in, hopefully I'll be back with more later, when my mojo returns
