Kraftin' Kimmie - Friendship Card!

Hi again! I have a card *shock* to share today! I was in the crafting mood last night, so sat down, and created this -
I started out by picking out the papers I wanted to use, which are from Kaisercraft. I then picked out the stamp, which is from Kraftin' Kimmie, I stamped her up, and coloured her using my spectrum noir markers, then fussy cut her out. I built up my card, which uses patterned paper, ribbon, a sentiment from Kaisercraft 6x6 paper stack, and some flowers from D-Lish Scraps. This card has a lot of doodled borders, and little details... Here are some close ups.
I am entering this into the sketch challenge at Mojo Monday. Which, of course I've turned on it's side...
Thanks for dropping by! Have an awesome new year!

Christmas Cards with The Greeting Farm - Dressy Anya

Hi guys! Back again with another Christmas card! I am getting into the Christmas spirit, buying up all my Christmas Presents, and making lots of Christmas cards :) This year, I made the commitment to buy handmade... And, apart from bits and pieces, which I couldn't source, I've stuck to it! This year, I've bought most of my goods from Aussie handmade sellers from MadeIt.com.au, If you're looking for something unique, and handmade, that's your place to go! Anyway, onto my card -
This is one of the "tall" Anyas, from the Dressy Anya collection, I've coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and trimmed her out. I have used patterned papers from My Minds Eye, and done a bunch of doodling around the edges (see a theme happening recently?) I then tied a bit bow from some beautiful ribbon from RibbonCarousel (who are changing up, and not going to stock ribbon by the yard, so, all the ribbon is on Sale!) I stamped the sentiment, and hand cut a pennant shape for it. The flower in her hair has been smothered in stickles... here is a closer look -
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Splendid Stamping- Double-Take Tuesday (which this week is the awesome colour scheme), next up is the Simon Says Stamp - Get in Shape challenge, and last but not least, is the sketch challenge from The Deconstructed Sketch
Deconstructed Sketch No. 76
Thanks for popping by guys!

Some Odd Girl - Warm Wishes Tia

I have a Christmas Card to share today, using the Some Odd Girl stamp set - Warm Wishes Tia. Here's my card -
I started off by stamping Tia on X-PressIt Blender card and coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Once I was happy with how she was coloured, I added some white highlights using a white gel pen, and fussy cut her out. I layered her up onto a bunch of patterned papers from My Minds Eye, and doodled around the edges of all the papers using a fine tip black pen. I layered everything up, stamped a sentiment, then added a couple of buttons and some Charcoal Twine
I received my birthday present to myself in the mail yesterday...  Now, I have the full set of Spectrum Noir Markers, and let me tell you... It makes a WORLD of difference... I love them, and can see them getting oh so much use! I think I might actually learn to love purple... hehe... Anyway, ere is a close up of little Tia -
Thanks for popping by! Don't forget, our challenge this month is Tags, just use something from the shop in your creation! I also used inspiration from Mojo Monday, and their sketch. I was thrown a little as to what to do about the circle, so just made it work for me :)

NEW My Favourite Things - PI Giraffe Girl!

Hi guys! Just a fairly quick post from me this evening.... I got happy mail the other day from The Stamp Spot, gotta love happy mail! It included a must have for me... Giraffe Girl from My Favourite Things... If you've been following me for a while, you would probably know I have a massive obsession with Giraffes... I have a pretty big collection of giraffes, so when I saw this stamp.... It had to be added to that collection!
I stamped and coloured her up using my Spectrum Noirs (are you sick of hearing about how much I love these yet?)  I paper pieced her top (because MFT stamps are easy to paper piece) and then made up my card. I used a Baja Breeze card base, cut at 5.75" square and then layered it up with this fabric looking paper from Fancy Pants. My middle skewed panel is Baja Breeze Designer Series Paper (retired from SU!) The Label and Circle were cut using my big shot and nesting dies and then I stamped my sentiment, which is part of the Giraffe Girl set and added a few rhinestones and paper flowers. It all looked a bit incomplete, so I added some doodling around the edges and love how it turned out with that finishing touch!
This one is being entered into the Splitcoast Stampers MFT sketch challenge I was a bit thrown at first by the square at an angle, but now love the sketch! Funny how that happens!

The Greeting Farm - Glimmer Bean

Hi All! It's time for me to play at The Stamp Spot Blog - So, here goes....
I started off this card knowing that I wanted to use this paper from Basic Grey, it's from the Lemonade Collection and is called Flower Garden. I sat and looked at the paper, and coloured my image to match, using my watercolour markers. I then fussy cut her out, and set her aside. I used some lace from the store, and layered it on to the patterned paper, then using two MFT Dienamics (Mini Rolled Roses, and Rolled Rose die) I cut out three roses, one from Pirouette A4 cardstock and two from some felt from my stash. I added a brad to the centre of the larger rose, which I had covered in embossing powder, and heat set. Then while it was still warm, I rolled it in glitter and heat set it again. I cut out a nestie label and doodled around the patterned paper, and label before attaching everything together and onto a cardbase. The sentiment is from My Favourite Things and was stamped in black ink to finish off this card.
This card fits the requirements of the May challenge - why not play along?
