Kraftin' Kimmie & Simon Says Stamp - Happy Birthday card!

Evening!
Just a super quick post tonight, to share a card I made recently!
For this card, I grabbed a mix of patterned papers, Cosmo Cricket and Echo Park (I think) and coloured my mermaid (Kraftin' Kimmie) up to match. I fussy cut her out, and placed her on a piece of white card stock, that I'd stamped a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp on to. I added a bow, some paper and resin flowers and some rhinestones.

Kraftin' Kimmie - U R Beautiful!

Heya! I've been busy (as usual!) and have had time to create a card for a couple of challenges!
Also, if you've got time, pop over to my Facebook page, as tomorrow, there is a share the love collage share for the Madeit facebook page, hitting 40,000 (!) likers!
Ok, on to my card!
For this card, I grabbed a new paper pad, which I picked up at a discount store. It's a non-branded one, but I couldn't resist the colours or designs! I layered everything up with white card, doodled around the edges and then chose/coloured my image. I used Rosabelle from Kraftin' Kimmie, and coloured her using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then grabbed my stash of flowers (from D-lish) that arrived the other day -
And added paper and resin flowers, as well as a trio of pearls on each end! The sentiment is a mix of Thickers and a stamp by Ali Edwards/Technique Tuesday and stamped it, overlapping the main image panel.

Non-Traditional Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope your day is filled with love, whether it be from your significant other, kids, pets or even a little bit of spoiling yourself! I have a non-traditional Valentine's card to share today, one that will probably go to a friend...
For this card, I raided my stash of off cut papers, that were sitting in my "scrap" file. I grabbed the green and yellow and then decided on my stamp, which is from Kraftin' Kimmie. I stamped her, and coloured her, using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then, I built up the card. The yellow paper, is from Echo Park, and the Green is from Lawn Fawn, I used a piece of blue card stock behind the main image, and added some ribbon (from Spotlight) tied in a bow. The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the main image (I can't think of the name of it right now!)

Valentine's Card (last one, I swear!)

Hi guys! I really need to stop making Valentine's cards! But, I have got them all up in my Etsy and Madeit Stores, so pop over and take a gander ;)
Anyway, onto my card -
For this card, I stamped my image (Kraftin' Kimmie), and coloured it up to start, using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then doodled around the edges and grabbed a paper pad, from My Minds Eye, and cut, layered and doodled. I the stamped a sentiment, from My Favourite Things, and die-cut a gray doily to match the background paper (MFT Die-namics). For the embellishments, I grabbed my box of D-Lish Scraps flowers and grabbed a daisy, and rose, and of course, a star from Freckled Fawn (I'm obsessed with these at the moment) and some tiny rhinestones.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Classy Lady Birthday

Hi ya! I've had a lot of cards disappear from my shop the last week, as I had a big wholesale order come in, so I'm getting back into the groove, and making more! While they may not always show up here, I do try to keep my facebook page, and pinterest board fresh with all my stock :)
Anyway, onto my card for today!
I actually started this card, from the base up, I trimmed patterned paper from Echo Park and Webster's Pages and layered it on to black card stock, doodled around the edges and wrapped some pretty gold satin ribbon around, before tying a really big bow. I then dug through my stamps, and grabbed this Kraftin' Kimmie stamp, inked her up and then coloured her using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I fussy cut her out, attached her to the card base, using dimensional adhesive and then focused on my embellishments. I grabbed a wooden flourish, coloured it black, using my Spectrum Noir Marker, then embossed a "Happy Birthday" sentiment on it in gold. The embellishments are two gold sequins, and a diamanté button.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Clara Valentine's Day Card

I've been at the craft desk once again! I have a whole range of Valentine's cards up in store now! And, just for being a blog reader, you can get 20% off until Monday, just use coupon code BlogLove on checkout!
Here is the card I have to share today -
I actually started this card a couple of days ago, and it just wasn't working for me... I had coloured Clara (from Kraftin' Kimmie) three times before I was happy with her, then because it had taken so long, I wasn't happy with the papers, or the style for the card. So, left Clara on my desk, to come back to. I used a mix of really old My Minds Eye patterned paper and new Pink Paislee, doodled around the edges, wrapped some seam binding ribbon and some new pink satin ribbon, I picked up at Spotlight a week ago, and tide a big bow. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, and is the heart punchie.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Sorry Card

Hi again!
Still a chance to get in store, and get 15% off for the Boxing Day Sale!
I do have a card to share today too... One I had a lot of fun creating. On Christmas eve, I went through my box of off-cuts and put 2-3 pieces together to create combinations to use before the new year arrived, so I could actually use some of the stuff that has been in my stash for too long! This card uses patterned papers from that stash...

The patterned paper on this card is My Minds Eye, Echo Park, and a small piece from Amy Tangerine. I did my customary doodling, and added some lilac ribbon, a star button and a sentiment tag, which simply says "4 You" I figured with the Kraftin' Kimmie - Angry Ballerina, this card could work as a "Sorry" Card, or a birthday card, with a sentiment such as "it's only another year" on the inside.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Vintage Christmas

Hi there!
I've been busy, preparing for Christmas, making lots of journals/diaries and sending them all over Australia, through my madeit store, so I've not had a lot of time, to just play! I have also been trying to get my own Christmas cards made up, which is what the card I have to share today is....
I started by gathering my papers, which are from My Minds Eye, I doodled around the edges, attached some gold ribbon, and then decided on which stamp to use. This is the ever sassy Kraftin' Kimmie - Tinkerbelle, which I've coloured up with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I grabbed some pearls (which I coloured to match, using my Spectrums) and a big blingy circle and some resin roses.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Birthday Card

Hiya! I've been busy creating, but haven't been able to drag my butt to the computer, to blog!
I've got a couple of cards to share, that will be heading into my store, as soon as I can wrangle a few minutes to do it!
Now, on to the card I want to share with you today
I started by picking out some scrap papers, that have been floating around my stash a while, I think these are from Echo Park (or My Minds Eye!) I then inked up Lucy, from Kraftin' Kimmie, and coloured her up, using my Spectrum Noir markers. I trimmed her out, and set her aside, and built my card. I used my computer and printer to create the sentiment, and then attached it, some ribbon and some bling to the card, before popping Lucy, and the extra book using dimensional adhesive...

Kraftin' Kimmie - Christmas Card, without the Christmas image!

Hi ya! I've been busy at the craft desk, working my way through another custom card order, this one for the current boyfriend, who asked that I make some cards for him to give to his family and boss! Talk about a boost to the confidence! There are still a couple of Christmas cards available in store, so get in before the season is over!
This card, is going to Richard's younger sister... The design brief was simple *rolls eyes* quirky, and a bit OTT....
Richard picked out the stamp, I knew for 'quirky' it had to be a Kraftin' Kimmie image! I coloured her up, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, using 'Christmas colours' and then fussy cut her out. I built the card, using patterned paper from My Minds Eye (which I flicked some bronze colour shine onto), a gold foil doily, a wood veneer from Kaisercraft and a bunch of roses, a leaf, sentiment (Stampin' Up! Short and Sweet) and bling!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Golidlocks Birthday Card

Hiya Guys! I have a cute birthday card to share today, that'd be perfect for a little toddler girl... I have a large range of Birthday Cards in my Madeit store right now!

I started by selecting some patterned papers, from My Minds Eye, and Echo Park (yup, definitely my favourite companies right now), and layering them up, with some doodling around the edges. I then stamped and coloured Kraftin' Kimmie Goldilocks using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I added a bow, some more doodling, a sentiment and a few resin roses.
Here is the close up (I'll try and get a better pic in the morning, if it's not so rainy!)

Hey There - Kraftin' Kimmie Owl Card

So, I've had an awesome weekend, I sold 5 cards from my Madeit Store, I put the feelers out, about stocking my cards in a boutique children's store, in Newcastle (which will be happening in the coming week or so!), and my Facebook page hit 300 likers (so there's a giveaway.) All the things are currently happening, and I'm loving being in the thick of it!
I also made a record 8 (or 9) cards over the weekend, which never happens, I also loved ALL of them, also another rarity... Anyway, here is one I made on Sunday -
I started off by picking out my papers, which are super old, My Minds Eye papers... I am trying to work through my stash, before I purchase more! I then dug out this little owl from Kraftin' Kimmie, inked it up and coloured it with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I die-cut the top or the notebook paper, to make it look like it's been torn from a notepad (thank you, My Favourite Things Die-Namics) I added a button, and some twine. Then, the sentiment (Some Odd Girl) and the moon with the hanging star....

Kraftin' Kimmie - You Rock Card

Hi there!
I have another quick card to share with you all today!
I started off by inking up this slightly creepy looking Kraftin' Kimmie Stamp, using my spectrum noir markers for colouring. I then set her aside, and grabbed some patterned papers, I've used the pink patterned paper from Amy Tangerine, and some black board paper from Teresa Collins. I then stamped my sentiment (Alley Way Stamps) and embossed it on to the blackboard looking paper. I tied a bow, added a button, and a bunch of washi tape pennants. The main image panel was placed behind the chalk board paper, and everything was doodled around!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Thanks to You...

Hi guys!
I've been crafting again... This one was made on Thursday night, and I'm only just getting around to blogging it... Working really does get in the way of craft time teehee...
This card, inevitably turned out very different to what I had planned... I wanted to play with new patterned papers, from Echo Park, or Teresa Collins, got them out, and couldn't make it work.... So, I dove back into the stash, and came up with this super fun, bright hearts pattern from Amy Tangerine... I found some grey polka dot paper too, from American Crafts. I decided to paper piece this little chickies dress, (she's a Kraftin' Kimmie stamp) I coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir markers and added some shading to her dress. I then trimmed her out, and set her aside. I mounted the Amy Tan paper on black card, then added a strip of embossing (also mounted on black card) doodled around the edges, and added my main image panel. The sentiment is from Some Odd Girl, and I went back to my KK to attach her, using some dimensionals. I added a black banner, a wood veneer heart (coloured black and has doodling - see close up), I also added a yellow heart button, a plain green button and some enamel dots...
Here's the close up-
for a card that was very different to what I wanted to make, I really like the finished product!

Kraftin' Kimmie - Birthday Card, Take 2

So, I've been crafting again, and made another Birthday card, featuring another Kraftin' Kimmie image -
I grabbed a new paper pad, that arrived yesterday, from Echo Park (For the Record), and selected this fun daisy paper, and the beautiful red paper as well. I doodled around the edges, and mounted it on some black card. I wrapped some black grosgrain ribbon around the papers and then tied a big yellow bow over the top. I coloured up my Kraftin' Kimmie stamp using my Spectrum Noirs, and mounted the image panel on more black card. The sentiment is another one from Kraftin' Kimmie, and I added a trio of flowers and rhinestones to finish off the card.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Happy Birthday Card

Hi guys! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend, it was a long weekend here, in New South Wales. I spent Saturday getting dressed up, and going for dinner on the harbour with some lovely friends, to watch the fireworks, before hitting the town... This is me, all dressed up, and ready to go....
Anyway, I had an amazing time, and would do it all over again, in an instant! On to my card for today...
This is one of my all time favourite Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps, I believe her name is Lucy... I stamped and coloured her up, using my spectrum noir markers, then selected my patterned paper, in this case, it's Amy Tangerine, and doodled around the border before mounting it on some black card, and then onto the white card base. For the main image panel, I wanted it to look like she was sitting on a blackboard. So, I grabbed some black card, my lightest grey pencil, and sketched where the shadows would fall with her sitting. I then grabbed my anti-static pillow (for embossing) and dropped it a few times, to give the look of chalk dust. I doodled around the edges with a white gel pen, before attaching it to a piece of brown sugar card. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie, and was stamped, then freehand cut to make a pennant shaped banner. I added some rose embellishments as well as a speech bubble paper clip, to finish off this card.
