Get Well Soon - MFT Card

Hello Hello!
I have a card to share today.
I started with an older stamp set, I have had in my stash for a very long time. I stamped her on three different surfaces, my xpress it card (for colouring), on my backing card, and also on some patterned paper. I coloured her up, adding highlights to the umbrella, which has been paper pieced. I used patterned paper from Echo Park and Simple Stories.
I printed a sentiment, on the pc, and layered it all up, with doodling all around my patterned papers. I added some sequins to finish off this card.

MFT Unicorn Birthday Card

Hi Hi! I have another card to share today, this one, I have had in my mind for a couple of days, I was just awaiting the stamp set arriving!
I started by picking my papers, these are from Pink Paislee, I the selected my unicorn, and stamped and coloured him, and the rainbow, using my Spectrum Noir Markers and Copics. I die cut the circle, and cloud shapes and then built my card. The sentiment is from the same set as the unicorn. I've added a smattering of sequins to finish off the card

Some Odd Girl - Mermaid Queen

Hi guys! I'm back again, to share a card I made last night. It is a card, that I currently love, more than most, and I can't see myself parting with it, any time soon! I made it, to showcase on Some Odd Girl's Facebook Group - Paper Piecing Challenge
Here it is -
To start this card, I selected the Mermaid Queen Digital Stamp, from Some Odd Girl, printed her on my copic card stock, and on some copy paper. On the copy paper, once she was printed, I attached some patterned paper, and some vellum, and reprinted her. While that was printing, I started colouring the Mermaid's body, using my copic markers. I let the ink dry a short time on the vellum part of her tail, and while that was drying, coloured her tail in shades of green and blue, to give it a shimmer look on the patterned paper. I colour over a lot of my paper pieced sections, to give more dimension, to make the piece look less "flat". I then fussy cut the tail, and fins and attached them to my coloured mermaid. I did some stippling to give the appearance of sand, and used some stickles on her main tail fin, to give some sparkle!
The papers on this card are a mix of no-name papers and Lawn Fawn, I think her tail is from My Minds Eye (it was a scrap in my scrap draw). I added a sentiment, from another Some Odd Girl stamp set (which appears to be retired now). I added some more sparkle using a trio of silver sequins, and some glitter paper.

Some Odd Girl - Birthday Card

Hi Hi! I've been terrible at this blogging thing recently. I haven't been crafting much either... But, this card was screaming to be made.
I started by grabbing some patterned paper from two different Kaisercraft paper pads, and the brown one is from American Crafts. I coloured up my Some Odd Girl image, using my Spectrum Noir markers, and fussy cut her out. I then layered up my papers, and doodled around the edges. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, and I've used paper flowers, a MFT Die-Namic feather and some sequins to finish off this card.

The Greeting Farm - Birthday Card

Hi guys! I have been sick, and overwhelmed with uni work recently, so haven't had a lot of chance to create anything... I did get a new toy to play with in the mail, on Monday... I got one of these, and it's amazing!
It's a Silhouette Cameo, it plugs into the PC and die cuts digital files, much like the Big Shot, and Cricut, without the need for 100's of dies or cartridges!
Anyway, I've uploaded a few cards to my stores (Etsy + Madeit), so stop by to have a look, now on to my card today
For this card, I used some patterned papers, by Echo Park, Everyday Eclectic (an old collection) and the hot pink at the bottom is from Kaisercraft. I layered them together, and added some gold ribbon. The main image is from The Greeting Farm, and I've coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir markers. I added some paper roses, and sequins, before creating the sentiment, which is a mix of dymo labels, My Minds Eye stickers, The Alley Way Stamps and some hand writing.

Scrap Page 2 - The Irony...

Hey Hey!
I said I'd be back to share another layout (I'm on a bit of a roll, so be prepared for more!)
Here is the second layout I did last night
For this one, I took a couple of pics of Lachlan in which he is crying... And cut a couple of frame using mums Silhouette (God I love that thing!), I then grabbed some paints (something I never do!) and painted, stamped a background. I added a strip of washi tape, and some patterned paper (Kaisercraft). I added some arrows from Studio Calico, a couple of flair, sequins and resin stars. The title says - "The Irony was not lost!!" it's tough to see, because of the glittered thickers...

Hello Sunshine - DLish Scraps Inspiration Challenge - Scrapbooking

Hello again! I have a scrapbook page to share with you all today! One of me, and my lovely man.
For this layout, I bought the D-Lish Just Add Paper kit, which I paired with some American Craft frame paper, as well as some Bella Blvd silver embossed black card stock. I also added a couple of paper doilies, and a silver bow, instead of the pink one that came in the kit.
From the inspiration board, I took my cues from the colour scheme, the frames, sketch and the butterflies.

From the Heart Stamps - Thank You Card - Pelican

Hi Hi!
I almost forgot that I needed to send my Nan a thank you card, for our trip to Sydney last week, so today, after finishing an assignment, I sat down and created one, fairly quickly.
I also wanted to let you know... I have a coupon code available for my Etsy store
15% off ALL orders with coupon code ASSIGNMENTCLEARANCE - Until June 1st.
Anyway, onto my card!
I started off with the pelican digital stamp, by From the Heart Stamps, he's been sitting on my desk for weeks, waiting to be coloured! My nan absolutely loves pelicans, and paints them quite a lot on her pottery, so she'll really appreciate this guy!
I used my Spectrum Noir markers to colour him up, and the fussy cut him out. Once that was done, I grabbed some really old My Minds Eye patterned papers and doodled around the edges of them. I stamped the sentiment (Simon Says Stamp) and added a wooden heart, sequins and bling to finish off the card.

Scrapbooking - Lovedale Long Lunch

Hi Hi! I went on the Lovedale Long Lunch this weekend just gone, it's a day filled with Hunter Valley wines, Lunch, music, and friends! Our bus theme was double denim, but because it was SUCH a nice day, we ditched the denim jackets pretty quickly!
Anyway, onto my scrap page -
The main background paper I've used is from Kaisercraft, paired with some Teresa Collins (the pink) I've added doilies, a Prima feather, a die-cut feather, the frames are from Pink Paislee (I think), some stickers from My Minds Eye and a whole bunch of stuff from D-Lish Scraps. I also added in a few of the left over tickets.

I've been a bad blogger... Some Odd Girl Cards

I've been a terrible blogger lately! I've not crafted much recently, as my week of prac ended and I went to visit my parents, and head to Sydney with my big sis, to see The Lion King and check out Madame Tussauds
This is us, giving Iron Man some love ;)
Anyway, I have a couple of cards to share (which are all up in my madeit, and etsy stores)...
Here we go...
This card was a special request, for a friend, who wants to send the card to her best friend, who was complaining, he'll never get a "Congratulations, you're married" or "Congrats on your baby card", so, he'd like one with this sentiment - "Congratulations - You're Gay!"
I used patterned paper from Kaisercraft, and a digital stamp, from Some Odd Girl, coloured using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Embellishments include resin flowers, a bow and a glitter heart (diecut from Lawn Fawn)
Close up -

This one was made using the Deconstructing Jen Sketch #115 as inspiration. I'm also linking this card to the Some Odd Girl Linky Party (well both actually)
This one, I made to go straight into my store -
I started by selecting papers from Teresa Collins and My Minds Eye, and colouring up Mae from Some Odd Girl, I used the colour palette of the papers, to determine my colouring. I decided to add a gold glitter feather (die-cut from MFT) and a wooden Prima feather, I also used a trio of resin flowers and some gold sequins. The sentiment for this one, is from Simon Says Stamp. I'm linking this one up to Friday Sketch challenge, and the Simon Says Stamp - Die-cut Crazy challenge

Anyway, onto this card -
For this card, I used one of the Princess Anyas, stamped her, and coloured her up with my Spectrum Noirs. I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye (I think) and paired it with a non branded ombre pink paper. I doodled around the edges. Attached some pink ribbon loops and a trio of sequins.
Here is the close up. I added stickles to her wand and crown

Some Odd Girl - Angel Kaylee - Best Wishes

Hi again! I've got a bunch of custom cards on my desk at the moment, so keep an eye out for them soon! Pop over to my Facebook Page to see what's happening, or to order a custom card!
Anyways, on to the card
For this card, I started by selecting some older Echo Park patterned papers, from a boys range they released early last year (I think)... I trimmed them all down to the sizes I wanted, then grabbed Angel Kaylee, which I printed off about a month ago... I coloured her up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and doodled around the edges. I looked for some matching embellishments, and came across the gold ribbon, and some sequins. I used a sticker from My Minds Eye for the sentiment, and popped it up on dimensional adhesive. I also added a circle of twine, to add a bit of texture...
If you want to know how I tie my bows, I did create a tutorial, but it never made it on to the blog! You can find it here - Bow Tutorials

More Scrapbooking - New Years Eve 2013.

Hi guys! I'm just typing this up before heading to bed (This post is scheduled), after an epically long day!
I have another Scrap page to share!
I've been on a bit of a scrapbooking binge, trying to bring my card mojo back!
For this page, I went through my Instagram pics from New Years Eve, and printed them out, using my printer. I then die-cut them using the big shot. I decided for this page, to use some patterned paper from Teresa Collins (She Said) range, and paired it with some plain Kraft card. I popped some gold washi tape down, and some scallops. Then grabbed my big box of flowers, from D-Lish Scraps, I mixed in some Prima, and resin roses as well as a few tiny pearls. The main title was made using a Prima chipboard, Jenni Bowlin stickers and a little Studio Calico Heart.
Here is the close up collage, you can see in the smaller pics the true colours. for some reason, the main image wouldn't photograph correctly, colour wise!

This month, I wanted to finally use some butterfly stickers I received from Alacraft, in one of my very first orders! So, I grabbed the sheet of stickers and my patterned papers and set to matching them! I used the pink check paper from the Sweet Party paper pad ($2!) and some matching purple, and hot pink patterned papers (Kaisercraft), I layered everything up on white card, and attached it all using this tape I finished off by doodling around the edges. I coloured my images, from Some Odd Girl, fussy cut her out and attached her using foam adhesive. I added my butterfly, and stamped my sentiment, then added some sequins (you could use flat back diamantes for the same look) for some added sparkle.

Bugaboo Stamps - Be Mine - Cupid Valentine's

Hi Guys! I've got some super, exciting news... Not only can you purchase my cards, in my store, but you can also get them from two (!) retailers at The Junction, in Newcastle!
It means, a lot of my current stock needs to be refreshed, and that I need to keep making!
I actually made this card yesterday, and it's already been purchased...
For this card, I printed off the cupid from Bugaboo digital stamps, (about a month ago) and he's been sitting waiting to be coloured! I coloured him up, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, then fussy cut him out. I grabbed some patterned papers, that matched with him. In this case, Kaisercraft (an old range), and Sn@p. I layered everything up, and doodled around the edges. I then attached cupid, using foam dots. The sentiment, I stamped, using Alphabet stamps, and some heart stamps from The Alley Way Stamps. I then coloured up a wooden shape (using my Spectrums) and attached it, and some sequins.
