Scrapbooking

Hi guys! I'm back to share a scrapbook page I did last week, but have only just had a chance to photograph and edit!
For this layout, I started with some light pink card stock, which I used turquoise paint on, with a mask. I then grabbed some hot pink patterned paper from Kaisercraft, and mixed it with another patterned paper by Webster's Pages. I added some embellishments which include mixed paper, and fabric flowers, flair, a wooden frame, and a doily. My title is created using my silhouette, and a dymo labeller.

Scrapbooking - Nick and I Sydney Trip

Hi guys! I have another scrap page to share, before hopefully sharing a card tomorrow (if I get a chance to photograph it!)
Here is the layout
For this layout, I started with a black card stock base, and painted up a background using shiny gold paint, and a mask. I then grabbed one of my 3 ink sprays and sprayed some gold around. I added some circles using some white paint on a little plastic lid. I added 4 different patterned papers, from Kaisercraft, and Echo Park, a journalling card from October Afternoon, some washi tape, a flair, paper clip and some twine. The tittle is "Happy" which I coloured using my spectrum noir markers and added some gold paint dots. I added a Kaisercraft chipboard window, which I painted and some flowers from D-Lish Scraps.

Scrap Page 2 - The Irony...

Hey Hey!
I said I'd be back to share another layout (I'm on a bit of a roll, so be prepared for more!)
Here is the second layout I did last night
For this one, I took a couple of pics of Lachlan in which he is crying... And cut a couple of frame using mums Silhouette (God I love that thing!), I then grabbed some paints (something I never do!) and painted, stamped a background. I added a strip of washi tape, and some patterned paper (Kaisercraft). I added some arrows from Studio Calico, a couple of flair, sequins and resin stars. The title says - "The Irony was not lost!!" it's tough to see, because of the glittered thickers...

Scrapbooking - Kraft It Up September

Hello! I have a couple of projects to share over the coming days, so keep an eye out for the various bits and bobs :) Here is a scrapbook page I completed this evening -
I used a piece of Stampin' Up!'s Crumbcake (Kraft) card stock, and dolloped some white paint onto the cardstock, with a dry brush, I spread all the paint out until I'd gotten most of it into the area I wanted. I set it aside and waited for it to dry. I collected my patterned paper (Cosmo Cricket and Kaisercraft) and distressed all the edges, as well as sanding them back a little bit. I also cut out a Spellbinders border die out of black cardstock and roughed it up as well. Once the paint was dry, I grabbed a Twiddleybitz mask and sponged Wild Wasabi Ink over the top. I then put together my layout. I found a Kaisercraft acetate shape, and glued it behind my photo and stitched the polka dot paper in place. I then made a journalling circle using Kraft cardstock, white cardstock and two dies. The 'date' has been made with my dymo labeller. Here are some close ups -
The colours are more true in these photos... I have just shown some of the embellishment clusters (you know I love a good cluster!)
The title is Hunter Botanical Gardens.
I am entering this into the Kraft It Up September Challenge, which was to use the following colour palette-

Scrapbooking Family Photos

Hello Hello! I'm back again with another Scrapbook page to share! I have been feeling unmotivated to do anything as I struggle with some back pain, so to get myself back into crafting, I made a scrapbook page...
This page kind of evolved a lot during the process. I started playing with paint, mixing Kaisercraft White paint with Sea Breeze to get the Turquoise piece which is painted directly onto the Kraft base (My Minds Eye) and then when it was dry, and hadn't quite worked as it should have (in my head at least) I stamped some Chevrons in Versamark and then applied a bunch of White Embossing Powder and heat set it.  I then made a circle doily mask, and sprayed a mix of two Perfect Pearls Mists on top, I used Forever Blue and Turquoise, I then moved my cardstock and let the mists run to the top of the page. I set the page aside to dry, and gathered my embellishments -
I used a transparency from Fancy Pants and added a lace doily on top, made my own Chevron flat cover buttons, added a celtic heart metal charm and a hat pin which I coloured up with a Spectrum Noir Marker to match the colour scheme. I also added some hemp twine, and a tag with a little bit of journaling on it.
I'm entering this into the Kraft it Up August Sketch challenge -

Scrapbooking - Picture Heavy Post

Two weekends a go, The Scrapbooking Haven hosted a Cyber Crop, where there were 11 challenges. I have never participated in a Cyber Crop before, but thought I'd give it a whirl. I do have a whole bunch of photos that needed a scrapbook page! So, in I jumped....
This one was a blind scrapbook challenge, where all the instructions were given, but no visuals were available. I found it a really interesting way to scrapbook.
Challenge to use only Blue and Yellow on a layout.
Tic Tac Toe Challene. I chose to used 2 or more photos, include 3 or more buttons and tear each layer. This layout was really difficult for me, as this style is so not me!
White + 1 Challenge to use white and magenta (shades of magenta)
Recipe Challenge to include the below elements on a layout
Paint/ink on your background paper, an altered piece of chipboard, brads, string and strips of patterned paper.

Sketch Challenge.
Numbers Challenge
1 tag
2 photos
3 printed paper
4 word title
5 word journaling
6 embies of your choice

Challenge to use misting in your background. This was my least favourite challenge and layout, I really struggled with it.
Hidden Journaling challenge. The little envelope opens up to show some journaling.
Happy Challenge, must use "Happy" in your title.
The next two weren't part of the cyber crop, but they are part of the 52 layout challenge over at Scrapbooking Haven, and I thought I'd pop them all in one post :)
Week 4
Challenge to use felt somewhere on your layout. I made a bunch of rolled roses out of felt.

Week 5
Case Amy's layout. I loved all the white space, and the use of butterflies and quilted block.
Thanks for dropping by!
