Scrap Page 2 - The Irony...

Hey Hey!
I said I'd be back to share another layout (I'm on a bit of a roll, so be prepared for more!)
Here is the second layout I did last night
For this one, I took a couple of pics of Lachlan in which he is crying... And cut a couple of frame using mums Silhouette (God I love that thing!), I then grabbed some paints (something I never do!) and painted, stamped a background. I added a strip of washi tape, and some patterned paper (Kaisercraft). I added some arrows from Studio Calico, a couple of flair, sequins and resin stars. The title says - "The Irony was not lost!!" it's tough to see, because of the glittered thickers...

Hello Sunshine - DLish Scraps Inspiration Challenge - Scrapbooking

Hello again! I have a scrapbook page to share with you all today! One of me, and my lovely man.
For this layout, I bought the D-Lish Just Add Paper kit, which I paired with some American Craft frame paper, as well as some Bella Blvd silver embossed black card stock. I also added a couple of paper doilies, and a silver bow, instead of the pink one that came in the kit.
From the inspiration board, I took my cues from the colour scheme, the frames, sketch and the butterflies.

Some Odd Girl - Digital Stamp - Demure

Hi Lovelies!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter! I had a very relaxing one, I spent time down the coast, at my parents house, and got to see the nephews, and my niece. I also had time to get creative! I have a couple of new cards in store (both etsy and madeit
Anyway, onto my card!
For this card, I started with "Demure" printed, on my desk, and coloured her up, with nothing in particular in mind for her... Which, is so not the way I craft! I then fussy cut her out, and came back to her the next day. I decided on a mostly clean and simple design for this card. I used some really old patterned paper, from when I first started card making. I think it might be Bella Blvd, but I could be very wrong! I layered it up on some black card, and then onto a white card base. I attached some washi tape, and the sentiment, which is a mix of a stamp from Technique Tuesday, and some stickers from My Minds Eye. I added some paper and resin flowers and a few small black rhinestones.

More Scrapbooking - New Years Eve 2013.

Hi guys! I'm just typing this up before heading to bed (This post is scheduled), after an epically long day!
I have another Scrap page to share!
I've been on a bit of a scrapbooking binge, trying to bring my card mojo back!
For this page, I went through my Instagram pics from New Years Eve, and printed them out, using my printer. I then die-cut them using the big shot. I decided for this page, to use some patterned paper from Teresa Collins (She Said) range, and paired it with some plain Kraft card. I popped some gold washi tape down, and some scallops. Then grabbed my big box of flowers, from D-Lish Scraps, I mixed in some Prima, and resin roses as well as a few tiny pearls. The main title was made using a Prima chipboard, Jenni Bowlin stickers and a little Studio Calico Heart.
Here is the close up collage, you can see in the smaller pics the true colours. for some reason, the main image wouldn't photograph correctly, colour wise!

Whimsie Doodles - Octopus Kids Birthday!

It's that time of the month again, when I share my Alacraft make, and once again, I've got a card to show you!
As is always the case, Alacraft has a monthly giveaway, just head here, pop your email address in, for a chance to win! If you're not this months winner, but still want to spend up, there is the discount code for blog readers - 20% off! All you need to do is put JESS20 in at checkout, to redeem your discount!
Now, onto my creation!
I started out printing a digital stamp, by Whimsie Doodles, onto white card, just using my inkjet printer. I let the ink "set" for at least 12 hours before colouring it up, just so it doesn't smudge when I colour using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I used a colouring effect that looks great, when used on animals, instead of colouring in circles like I usually would, I dotted the markers on top of each other, blending from darkest to lightest that way. Once that was done, I set the little octopus aside, and went through my stash!
I grabbed a square card base, from the boys card making kit, these kits have everything you need (including envelopes,) to make a minimum of three cards! I then went through the patterned paper pad, Masculine and selected two fun papers. I stuck them on to more white card and doodled around the edges, using my favourite fine tip pen. I attached the image, and papers using double sided tape, added some purple braid, from this awesome trio (3 different ribbons, for $2!!!)  I love that they are all so luxurious, and different! I then attached a button, from the masculine card making kit, as well as a button, enamel dot, and washi tape from my collection. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up, but Alacraft also has a selection of stamps!

D-Lish Scraps - October Inspiration Board

Hello Again!
I've got a scrap page to share this evening!
I started out by printing a photo of some sparkly heels I wore while out in Sydney at the start of the month, and making a polaroid-esque frame for it. I then set it aside, and grabbed some black card stock, and a sheet of stickers, from Sassfrass Lass (a SUPER old sheet of stickers!) I then stuck them down, added a strip of washi (stuck to white card and trimmed down) then a sticker from Amy Tangerine, and a title from Bella Blvd, which is from a 12x12 sheet, it fit this layout perfectly!
The journalling was done using my motex label maker, and some small stickers. I grabbed some wood veneers and coloured them up with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I also attached a bunch of resin roses in a few different sizes...
This corner has the big flower sticker, from Amy Tangerine, and another couple of wood veneers, coloured with my Speccies... I also added an arrow sticker and some small word stickers and more resin roses.

The Greeting Farm - Masculine Birthday Card

Last night, I got a burst of creative energy, at about midnight, so, instead of ignoring it, I crafted!
Here is the card I made -
I didn't particularly want to sit an colour, so I raided my coloured images that had never made it onto a card, and found this little Greeting Farm dude, I looked at him, then went through my stash of patterned papers (mostly offcuts) and came up with the dark brown back ground paper, the green plain paper and a small piece of yellow paper. I believe these are all from Echo Park. I keep all offcut pieces of patterned paper, especially if they are half a normal card size, or more...
I layered everything up, did some doodling and then attached my little dude using dimensional adhesive. I added a paper clip, some washi tap, a button and a trio of enamel dots.

The Greeting Farm - Masculine/Boys Card

Hi guys!
Just another quick note, to point you in the direction of my store which currently has 10% off using the coupon code EarlyXmas, until the 10th of October, 2013.
Now, on to my card today... I've got a boys card to share (as I keep selling out of them!)
I got new stamps in the mail, yesterday, from The Greeting Farm, so I had to ink up this little dude (how cute is he?!)... I coloured him up using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and trimmed it down to fit behind the polaroid frame, which is from Kaisercraft. I added a sentiment, using stickers from My Minds Eye, and my Dymo Labeller. The patterned papers I've used are from Echo Park, and have been doodled around. I added some Washi Tape in yellow to some white card stock and made some banners out of them. The card base is made from Stampin' Up! Pumpkin Pie card. The embellishments at the top are from D-Lish scraps, and include a star button in red, a wood veneer in a heart shape and two little enamel dots.

Scrapbooking my house mates cat - Ollie...

Hi guys,
I had a craft play date yesterday, which means, I was prepared, and put together a mini scrapbook kit, of things I might want to play with...  I grabbed patterned papers, a baggy of embellishments, and a couple of photos... Anyway, this is what I came up with
I used white card stock as my base, and layered it up with some older Echo Park patterned paper, and some Ruby Rock it patterned paper (the yellow one), as well as card stock in white and turquoise (keep an eye out, you will see these colours again soon) I cut the card stocks into banner shapes, and doodled around the edges (of course) I then went through the embellishments, I used a flair button, some resin roses, a couple of stickers, a paper leaf, a doily (behind the photo) and an arrow paper clip-
In the opposing corner, I added a crochet doily, some washi tapes (onto white card stock) some buttons, resin roses and a paper rose, along with another leaf, flair button and a swirly paper clip.

Scrapbook Page - Laugh as much as you breathe...

Hi guys! I have had a serious lack of mojo lately, so decided to try and get some scrapbooking done, to try and bring it back....
I printed my photo, which is from my nieces 2nd birthday party (held at the end of last month), and decided to scrap it, using the bright colours in the photo as inspiration! I grabbed some really old Echo Park Paper (Splash range) and used it as my main paper, I layered it up with some darker blue, and lighter blue card stock, and doodled around the edges. I then mounted my photo on some white card stock, and layered up a couple of pieces of washi tape, specifically #3 and #30. I then selected my embellishments -
I grabbed some paper blooms, as well as a Prima Pleated Flower, which I removed the pearl from and added a Finding Nana button instead. I added a wood veneer heart, from Freckled Fawn Wood Chips, as well as a Resistable Arrow, from Pink Paislee, which I inked with pink ink. To finish off this cluster, I added a Chic Tag and a couple of enamel dots.
This small embellishment cluster contains more Pink Paislee mistable shapes, which were sponged using pink ink, more enamel dots, and another Freckled Fawn wood chip.
My title of the page, is made up of lots of bits and pieces, alphas (I seriously love the look of mixed font titles!) I used pieces from Jillibean Soup Wise Words, Kaisercraft black and white mini alphas, Jillibean Soup Navy Alphabeans, and some random thickers that have been in my stash FOREVER! You can also see, on this photo, I've added an arrow paperclip from Freckled Fawn as well.
I used inspiration from two different places for this layout -

Scrapbooking - Washi Wednesday

All washi tape has been reduced to $1.50 for today only! So, pop in store and grab some at this low price, be quick though, some styles may sell out!
I've got a scrap page to share today, using some of my favourite products from The Stamp Spot Store! We're featuring Washi Tape creations on The Stamp Spot Blog today, so pop over for a look!
Here is the main view of the page -
I started out by wrapping three different washi tapes, I used these three -
*#30 15mm and
the third one I can't find in store, but is similar to this one
I then layered up the photo, and a photo mat from the Sn@p Vintage Bliss 4x6 Paper Pad
I stuck down a Jillibean Soup Sticker (Wise Words) and a mistable Pink Paislee Arrow which I sponged with some blue ink, letting the ink run out towards the end of the arrow. I layered a Finding Nana button on top of a paper bloom and added a 2Crafty chipboard butterfly.
This section shows my title, made from Alphabet stickers, I love the look of mixed fonts, so have used Jillibean Alphabeans and Kaisercraft Mini Alpha. I also added a Remember This sticker, which matched my colour scheme, as well as more paper bloomsSilver glitter paper and a strip of denim ribbon. I added more rhinestones, and another 2Crafty Butterfly.

In opposite corners, I added three strips of the co-ordinating washi tape, some more rhinestones and a final 2Crafty butterfly. The corner or the photo has a rhinestone frame and a denim bow.

Kraftin' Kimmie - You Rock!

Hi guys! I know, I've not been around much, again....
On the plus side, I do have a card to share!
I started by getting the boyfriend to go through a 6x6 paper pad, by Amy Tangerine, and pick two papers... He picked the bright pink chevron, and the note paper with the doodling in the corner... I went to work... I stamped and coloured up this rocking chicky, from Kraftin' Kimmie, and die-cut her out, using a circle die. Then, built up my card, I used the Hexagon embossing folder (from SU!) and sanded it back a bit, and then added the notebook paper on the left hand side. I added two fish tail banners, one out of the pink chevron paper, the other using washi tape on white card stock. I added a piece of aqua satin ribbon (which matched her outfit, perfectly!) and then stamped and die-cut a sentiment. This sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie too...
I added three little rhinestones, in aqua, and called it done!
I have some exciting news today too! I was featured on the front page of Madeit today!

The Greeting Farm - Babette - Hello Card with Washi Tape

Hi guys, my craft mojo has been completely missing for days... I've really missed it... I have had zero ambition to craft. It's been quite depressing. So, yesterday, I spent the day cleaning up, and for some reason, when I spend a while cleaning up, my craft mojo returns... I also wanted to let you know, my MadeIt store has re-opened with new stock added!
So, I created this card last night -
I started by going through my "scrap" paper stash, the off cuts I've got from other projects.... and came up with three pieces. The green one is from Echo Park Dots and Stripes, the dark blue is from Echo Park (all about a boy 6x6) and her dress is American Crafts (My Girl) I coloured Babette, from The Greeting Farm, using my Spectrum Noirs, and shaded her dress using the Speccies straight onto the patterned paper, to give it a bit more definition. I then built up my card. I used some washi tape (on sale for $1 a roll at The Stamp Spot today!) to cover the join. If you want to check out the Stamp Spot Blog, there will be a bunch of uploads using Washi Tape today!
I die cut a couple of spellbinders labels, and popped Babette on top, and added 5 roses, a combination of  paper flowers and resin flowers, as well as two rhinestones at either end. The sentiment is one that has been in my stash forever, and I rarely use... I don't even know which company it is from!

Masculine Card using Sn@p Project Life Cards and My Favourite Things

Hiya guys! I've got a masculine card to share today. I received some awesome new goodies in the mail the other day from The Stamp Spot, and couldn't wait to get down to craft!
Here is a peek of the yummies that arrived in my mail box -
These ranges by Sn@p are aimed mostly at Project Lifers, (people who document their lives through Project Life), but once I had a look at the range in store, I fell in love, and had to get them!
Here is the card I created -
I started out by flicking through the 24/seven paper pads, both the 6x6 and the 4x6, I selected the arrow background paper, and the "seriously" voice bubble. I then picked out a sentiment from the MFT - Graphic Tee set, and stamped it in Cherry Cobbler ink. I then embossed some kraft cardstock with my chevron embossing folder and attached some scallop ribbon and twine, to cover the join. I then attached my "journal card"  and grabbed out some Studio Calico chipboard arrow stickers, they matched the colours of the patterned paper almost perfectly! I also popped a strip of washi tape behind the journaling card, as a last minute addition.
Here is the close up-
I am entering this into two challenges. The first is the sketch from Sketchy Friday (rotated) and the Creative Card Crew - Masculine challenge
If you're looking for a bunch of inspiration, don't forget to head to the Stamp Spot blog, and check out what the rest of the design team have been up to!
