Lawn Fawn Dinosaur birthday card

Hi guys!
I’m back again with another card to share.

This one is a masculine birthday card, featuring some lawn fawn and some odd girl stamps.

For this card, I stamped my dinosaurs (Lawn Fawn) and used a combination of green copic markers polka dotted to create texture. I then fussy cut them out and popped them aside. The card base is grey, layered with patterned papers from Kaisercraft. The party hats are from a Some Odd Girl Stamp set, coloured again with my copics.
Here is a close up of the embellishments and the texture on my dinosaurs.

I am entering this card in to the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge - Party Time and the My Favorite Things,

Lawn Fawn - Dinosaur Birthday Card

Hi guys!
I have a fun, masculine, birthday card to share
I started by inking up the dinosaur and a bunch of leaves, and palm trees from Lawn Fawn - Critters from the past set, and coloured them all in, using my Copics and Spectrum Noir markers, I then fussy cut them all, and popped them aside. My card is made up of papers from Echo Park, Kaisercraft and Doodlebug. I die-cut a couple of circles, using the Bigshot, and then layered them together. I finished off the card with a few clusters of resin dots.

Some Odd Girl - Beach Mae - Birthday Card

Hi Hi!
I have a bright, sunshine-y card to share today, which is to help me out of the winter funk. Today is Winter Solstice and it's extremely windy, and cold here. Anyway, summer dreaming with this card
I started with the digital stamp - Beach Mae from Some Odd Girl (she looks to be retired!) and coloured her up using my spectrum noir and copic markers. I then fussy cut her out, and set her aside, so I could make the card.
I used patterned papers from Lawn Fawn, Fancy Pants and a non-branded paper pad
I added some paper and resin flowers, and some polka dots.
The sentiment is from My Favourite Things, and Simon Says Stamp

My Favourite Things - Cards - Penguins in Paradise and Woof You

Hi Guys! I've recently started holidays from work (yesterday was my last day) so I got home and crafted. I made two cards and will share both with you today!
Both, are fun, bright cards, but we will start with this one -
For this card, I used a new My Favourite Things stamp set in my collection, called Penguins in Paradise, stamped and coloured using Copic Markers. I used papers from Lawn Fawn, and a no name brand paper pad I bought at our local cheap shop. I added some doodling, some black resin dots and some bright pink ribbon.
Here's my second Card -
I used another MFT Stamp for this one - Woof You and coloured her, using copics, and paper pieced her overalls. I've used patterned papers from My Minds Eye and the same orange (cheap shop purchase) from the previous card. I popped some yellow ribbon on, as well as some paper flowers.

Some Odd Girl - Mermaid Queen

Hi guys! I'm back again, to share a card I made last night. It is a card, that I currently love, more than most, and I can't see myself parting with it, any time soon! I made it, to showcase on Some Odd Girl's Facebook Group - Paper Piecing Challenge
Here it is -
To start this card, I selected the Mermaid Queen Digital Stamp, from Some Odd Girl, printed her on my copic card stock, and on some copy paper. On the copy paper, once she was printed, I attached some patterned paper, and some vellum, and reprinted her. While that was printing, I started colouring the Mermaid's body, using my copic markers. I let the ink dry a short time on the vellum part of her tail, and while that was drying, coloured her tail in shades of green and blue, to give it a shimmer look on the patterned paper. I colour over a lot of my paper pieced sections, to give more dimension, to make the piece look less "flat". I then fussy cut the tail, and fins and attached them to my coloured mermaid. I did some stippling to give the appearance of sand, and used some stickles on her main tail fin, to give some sparkle!
The papers on this card are a mix of no-name papers and Lawn Fawn, I think her tail is from My Minds Eye (it was a scrap in my scrap draw). I added a sentiment, from another Some Odd Girl stamp set (which appears to be retired now). I added some more sparkle using a trio of silver sequins, and some glitter paper.

Lawn Fawn - Easter Card

Hi guys! I'm back, and I've got an Easter card to share...
I don't make many, as it's not something I've ever really made many of, because I don't send or receive them! Anyway, on to the card
I started by stamping and colouring a trio of bunnies from Lawn Fawn. I found some paper in my stash, that is from My Minds Eye (I believe) and I die cut three circles, using the Big Shot. I then added my doodling inside the circles, as well as around the patterned paper. I stamped a sentiment (also from Lawn Fawn) and an egg, which I coloured with Copics/Spectrum Noir Markers.

C.C. Designs Get Well Soon Card

Hi hi!
I've been creating again, trying to get as much done as I can, before uni takes over my life next week, and wedding planning gets over the top too!
Anyway, here's my card
For this one, I finally inked up a stamp I've had for almost a year, Nurse, from C.C. Designs, She's a cutie, and quite easy to colour. I used my spectrum noir markers, as well as copics for this image. I have used some really old My Minds Eye patterned papers (that I've almost finished the pad!) And layered them up, I have doodled around the edges, as always. I finished off the card with a trio of flowers, and a sentiment from Lawn Fawn.

Oh my gosh! I'm back! Some Odd Girl 2 Hearts Kody and Mae

Hi Hi Everyone! I know it has been a very long time since I've popped by. I have been creating, as well as working, and the big news is planning a wedding! Nick and I got engaged in June, 2015! It's been a total whirlwind of planning, and creating (a lot of DIY.) Anyway, because I've been so loved up, like this photo -

Valentine's Day cards have been on my mind! Here is one I created for a friend, to give to her new beau!
I used some patterned paper by My Minds Eye, and Lawn Fawn. The stamp is a Some Odd Girl digital stamp called 2 Hearts Kody & Mae and was coloured using a mix of Spectrum Noir markers and Copics. I've of course done a bunch of doodling, and finished it off with a wooden heart that has been coloured to match the papers (using copics)
Here's a close up for you -
Hopefully, I'm able to keep up with crafting, and blogging! Wish me luck!

I'm not obsessed with Some Odd Girl, I swear...

Hi guys, I've been creating again, this time with.... Some Odd Girl... You really shouldn't be surprised by now, haha... I have two cards to share, using the same layout, but are very different cards -
For this one, which went to my little niece today, I used the digital stamp, horsey Mae and coloured it in with my Spectrum Noirs. I used patterned paper from a no name stack, as well as Webster's Pages. I also used a bunch of loveliness from D-Lish Scraps in paper flowers, and resin roses. I used a sentiment from Simon Says Stamp - here is the close up -
The second card, is Puppy Toby, which is also a digital stamp. I coloured him with my Spectrum Noir markers as well, and used papers from Sn@p and Echo Park. The sentiment on this card is from Lawn Fawn.
And the close up -

I've been a bad blogger... Some Odd Girl Cards

I've been a terrible blogger lately! I've not crafted much recently, as my week of prac ended and I went to visit my parents, and head to Sydney with my big sis, to see The Lion King and check out Madame Tussauds
This is us, giving Iron Man some love ;)
Anyway, I have a couple of cards to share (which are all up in my madeit, and etsy stores)...
Here we go...
This card was a special request, for a friend, who wants to send the card to her best friend, who was complaining, he'll never get a "Congratulations, you're married" or "Congrats on your baby card", so, he'd like one with this sentiment - "Congratulations - You're Gay!"
I used patterned paper from Kaisercraft, and a digital stamp, from Some Odd Girl, coloured using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Embellishments include resin flowers, a bow and a glitter heart (diecut from Lawn Fawn)
Close up -

This one was made using the Deconstructing Jen Sketch #115 as inspiration. I'm also linking this card to the Some Odd Girl Linky Party (well both actually)
This one, I made to go straight into my store -
I started by selecting papers from Teresa Collins and My Minds Eye, and colouring up Mae from Some Odd Girl, I used the colour palette of the papers, to determine my colouring. I decided to add a gold glitter feather (die-cut from MFT) and a wooden Prima feather, I also used a trio of resin flowers and some gold sequins. The sentiment for this one, is from Simon Says Stamp. I'm linking this one up to Friday Sketch challenge, and the Simon Says Stamp - Die-cut Crazy challenge

Some Odd Girl + Simon Says Stamp - Thank You Card

Hi Hi! It's been a little quite in my stores (etsy + madeit) as I had to remove a bunch of stock to try my hand at commissioning my cards to The Emporium, in Newcastle City! If you're local, why not pop in for a last minute mother's day present/card on Friday night, as the store will be open until 8pm
(I'll be popping in, and checking out all the other handmade goodies!)
Anyway, onto my card to share -
I inked up Believe from Some Odd Girl and coloured her with my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then fussy cut her out, and selected some patterned papers. The aqua, mint one is from Cosmo Cricket and the purple is from Kaisercraft. I layered them up, doodled around the edges and added some paper and resin flowers. I also added 2 glitter hearts (Lawn Fawn). The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, and I die cut a speech bubble (MFT Die-Namics)

Lawn Fawn - Scrapbooking my Nephew

HEY HEY!
Happy Easter everyone! I hope your short break (if you get one) is relaxed, filled with family, friends and reflection! (oh, and chocolate!)
I've got a scrapbook page to share with you today...
For this scrapbook page, I wanted to keep things quite plain, and focus on these amazing photos of Lachlan, my little Nephew. I printed them off, trimmed them down, and matted them on some patterned paper, this is a really old collection, which I can't even remember who made it! I used a few small off cuts from a Lawn Fawn paper pad, and then stamped and coloured some little dinosaurs from Lawn Fawn as well! I fussy cut them out, and layered things up with a few stickers (My Minds Eye)
Here are some close ups
The Main title - Amazing Smile, was made using a sticker and a chipboard word which I coated in white embossing powder, and heat set twice.
I added some Studio Calico cork arrow stickers and called this layout done!

Some Odd Girl - Hipster Kody! Thank You Card

Hiya!
I got happy mail yesterday, which included one of the shiny new releases, from Some Odd Girl, which I had to ink up straight away!
I'm getting around to popping him in my etsy and madeit stores soon! (I've just got to re-take one of the photos, as it came out blurry *sad panda*)
I started by inking and colouring up Hipster Kody, and coloured him with my Spectrum Noir Markers, I then fussy cut him out. I used patterned papers from My Minds Eye, and October Afternoon (an old collection). I doodled around the edges, then added Kody, using dimensional adhesive, stamped a sentiment (My Favourite Things,) die cut it (MFT die-namics) and then stamped and coloured the little camera (Imaginisce Stamps) and fussy cut it out. The hearts are die cut using the Lawn Fawn hearts die, using SU! Poppy Parade card stock.

Some Odd Girl - Friendship Card

Hi guys! Sorry for the delay, but I do have the other card I made to share!
He'll be popping into my etsy, and madeit stores tomorrow!
I received this new cutie in the mail last week, and just had to ink up the little guy! I started by picking out my background paper, which is from Lawn Fawn (which I bought ages ago, and never really got around to using!), and picking some papers that matched, from Echo Park, and Kaisercraft. I added some doodling, and then popped my little guy on to the card. I tried to keep this card non-gender specific...

Non-Traditional Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope your day is filled with love, whether it be from your significant other, kids, pets or even a little bit of spoiling yourself! I have a non-traditional Valentine's card to share today, one that will probably go to a friend...
For this card, I raided my stash of off cut papers, that were sitting in my "scrap" file. I grabbed the green and yellow and then decided on my stamp, which is from Kraftin' Kimmie. I stamped her, and coloured her, using my Spectrum Noir Markers. Then, I built up the card. The yellow paper, is from Echo Park, and the Green is from Lawn Fawn, I used a piece of blue card stock behind the main image, and added some ribbon (from Spotlight) tied in a bow. The sentiment is from the same stamp set as the main image (I can't think of the name of it right now!)

Scrapbooking - New Years Eve - Masquerade Party!

Hi guys! I did mention I'd been scrapbooking, I can share one layout now, the other you have to wait for, as it's a DT page!
I have a bunch of photos printed, ready to scrapbook, with a few still in my phone... I am loving instagram and my pics recently, so a lot of my photos are coming from there...
Here is the first page I have to share -
  photo DSCF6238.jpg
I started by going through my 6x6 patterned papers, and selecting four different patterned orange ones, three are from Echo Park, the other is from Lawn Fawn. I then trimmed them down to 6cm squares and doodled around the outside of them all. I attached them to a white card stock ase, and then attached my photo.
My embellishments on this page, are mostly buttons, die-cut feathers (mft die-namic) and resin roses. I used stickers for my title, and journalling.
