Stampin' Up! Totally Tool and I create a Masculine Card

Sorry for the lack of posts these last few days, I've been feeling a tad mojo-less.... It's the start of another weekend off for me, so I decided to start it on a good note and avoid the royal wedding, by sitting down to a movie Mark hired... It was called Tokyo Gore Police, most completely random movie ever! I wouldn't suggest watching it if you're at all squeamish, although none of the 'blood' looks realistic, it is still a bit gross in sections... It was just one of those movies where I went "what on earth??" for most of it... After the movie finished, Mark went to bed (he was up at 3am this morning), and I went to craft....

For my card, I have used Basic Grey, Whisper White, More Mustard, Real Red and Sahara Sand. The stamp set I have used is one I don't utilise very often, Totally Tool, it is a great set for the men in your life, and I love the sentiment, which I have used. The sentiment is usually in one long line, I highlighted the parts individually using my Stampin' Write Markers mine so it would fit in the Modern Label Punch that I wanted to use.  This card was a bit of a struggle for me, if I'm completely honest... I find when I try to combine a colour challenge with a sketch challenge, I really have a hard time of it.... I used the colour inspiration and the cute circles from the Moxie Fab World, Tuesday Trigger

I paired this with the Inkspirations Sketch challenge, which I found was quite similar to a sketch I used the other day, here

I'm not dead....

Hi Guys... I know it's been a while since I posted.... I did make a few cards the other night but then when I went to take a picture of them and find out my cameras batteries had died! I didn't worry too much about it... I will upload those pictures in the next few days! I've been incredibly mojoless lately, due to falling ill with the horrid summer flu! I have had the worst sore throat and headaches, so I've been spending a lot of time asleep on the mattress under the air conditioner, and being looked after by the worlds best house mate and most awesome best friend in the world (just saying....)
I am feeling much better today, so after coming home from work, I decided to have a craft play!

 

This is for the Mojo Monday Card sketch challenge, which I try to participate in weekly.... This was one that threw me a little bit... But in the end I decided on using my completely neglected Totally Tool set...
