Annabelle Stamps - Lil Bee Mothers Day Card

Hi guys! I'm back again today, to share a Mothers Day Card I made up the other day!
I stamped the Lil Bee (from Annabelle Stamps) and coloured it up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I have had this little guy a while, and he was sitting un-inked in my stash until I used him on this card! Once I'd coloured him, I fussy cut him out, and popped him to the side. I stamped "Mum" and coloured it using my Spectrums again, and then drew a border around it. The background is Pretty in Pink (SU!) and I've run it through the Big Shot with the woodgrain embossing folder and layered it all up. I finished up with a trio of rhinestones.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger, and the Annabelle Stamps sketch challenge -
I am uploading this one to my store soon, but remember, it's going into "holiday mode" this weekend, so pop in quickly! I also wanted to share that this card was featured on the MadeIt weekly picks this week!

Bugaboo Digital Stamps - Christmas Cards

Hi guys! I'm back again to share another set of Christmas cards that will be available in my MadeIt store later today! I am loving MadeIt and the wonderful collection of Aussie crafters! If you're on Pinterest, check out my MadeIt Finds board or, if you're on Instagram, my name is JessDee86... ok... enough advertising, on to my cards!

I started off by colouring up the Christmas Teddy from Bugaboo Digital stamps, using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and then I put glossy accents on the baubles and Stickles glitter on the trim of his hat. While it was drying, I stamped Crumbcake card stock with my Woodgrain background stamp... And cut out my patterned paper (My Minds Eye) and stamped the greeting and heat embossed it. I found some crochet doilies in my stash, glued them down and added my teddy bear to them. Three red rhinestones pulled this card together.
I am entering these into the Simons Says Stamp Sparkle challenge

CC Designs Cherrie with Tag

Hi guys! I'm all moved, and slowly getting unpacked, got most things done, just a few more craft boxes need to be unpacked which should happen this afternoon.... Here is the last of the cards I've been saving to show you -
This was a Tickled Pink CC Designs stamp I got given, and the first time I've used her! I stamped her, and coloured her using my Spectrum Noir markers and fussy cut her out. The main card base has been stamped with white craft ink using the Woodgrain back ground stamp and layered up with some patterned paper from My Minds Eye. I tied a bow using some Vintage Seam Binding ribbon in Siam Pink (I think) and then attached my image panel. I popped Cherrie up with some dimensionals and added some pretty paper flowers from D-Lish Scraps. I rounded opposing corners, and called this card done.... :)
I used inspiration from the Anyone for Anya? blog with their weekly sketch.
Thanks for dropping by, I'm heading out to do some grocery shopping (bleh)

Kaisercraft Fine and Sunny

Hi! I've had a craft filled weekend, but a lot of stuff I'm unable to show you yet, due to them being for DT spots.... so keep an eye out over the next few weeks :) This one was a just for fun card, using some brand new stamps I picked up on Saturday. I went into Spotlight to get foam adhesive and glitter, I walked out with a bunch more stuff... Including this stamp set
I started out stamping the bird house on white card stock and colouring it up up with (you guessed it) my Spectrum Noir markers. I then die cut it out and a scallop circle slightly bigger in Chocolate Chip, and set it aside. I gathered my papers, in this case, paper from Cosmo Cricket Baby Jane and Echo Park This & That Charming and layered them up on to more Chocolate Chip card stock. I stamped the Stampin' Up! Woodgrain background stamp on Crumbcake card stock, using craft white ink, and gave it a while to dry. While it was drying, I dragged out my sewing machine, and stitched around the patterned paper panels and also the Crumbcake panel. I then added some folded ribbon accents using this gorgeous Twill Ribbon and then a bit of Twine (from the Ribbon Carousel) and a button to finish it off :)
I am entering this into the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I wasn't sure at first, whether I'd be able to create something I liked for this, but in the end, I love my card. I am also entering this into the Corrosive Challenge which is to use two or more punches/dies. I used a corner rounder punch, and of course the circle and scallop circles :)

Cornish Heritage - Kitty Stamp Thank You Card

Hi Guys! Back today with another card from the Tuesday... This one is a card especially for my little sister ("Hi Beck") and in a way for my Dutch cousin Joan, who really wanted to see some cat cards on my blog...  I have avoided doing anything with cats for a couple of reasons, but the big one recently is, Mark took the cats when he moved out, so apart from seeing their adorable faces on the fridge door as magnets, I don't get to see them anymore. When he moved, this was one of the toughest things for me. The kitties were definitely my babies, but I know they are being loved, and looked after at least... On with the card hey?
My dear friend Annmaree sent me this image last week, and it was actually the first time I've coloured an animal stamp (in a very long time at least) I used my Stampin' Write Markers on watercolour paper, and a blender pen. I then cut the main image out using my spellbinders nestie Ovals and a Nestie Label 4 in Soft Suede. I stamped my woodgrain stamp on the Bashful Blue base and Soft Suede label in coordinating ink. I then wrapped some Moss Green Seam Binding ribbon around the blue base and tied a big bow. I layered it all onto a Crumbcake base and added three Blush Blossom Mini Rolled Roses  and a sentiment in Soft Suede to finish it all off.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches which grabbed me as soon as I saw it. I think its the ribbon treatment to be honest, I love that it frames the card nicely... Next up is the Fancy Flowers challenge at the Ribbon Carousel.

Thanks for popping by :)

New Challenge Blog and My DT Sample Card! Gorjuss Bird on the Wire

I mentioned a week or two ago about being approached to help run a new challenge blog, Feeling Sketchy, of course I said yes, and this morning, at 6am, the first challenge was launched! Here is my card -
This card is fairly basic, but I think it packs quite a punch :) It is a Early Espresso card base, layered with some retired Stampin' Up! designer paper, I then layered a piece of Soft Suede which I had stamped with the Woodgrain background stamp, and wrapped some Rose Red Seam Binding Ribbon around, and tied a bow. The main image is Bird on the Wire, from Gorjuss and was coloured using my Stampin' Write Markers.
So, here's this weeks sketch,
If you want to play along, head on over to the blog and link up your creation, every entry goes in the draw for our monthly giveaway, which is sponsered this month by The Stamp Spot.

Some Odd Girl and Crate Paper 6x6 Paper Pad and I create a Best Wishes Card

Ok, so I was inspired to play along at the Some Odd Girl monthly challenge by my good friend Annmaree, also all the lovely new releases over at the Some Odd Girl Blog... so I got out my one physical SOG stamp! (I have a few digis as well :) ) And this is what I came up with -
I recently received a nice big parcel of goodies from The Stamp Spot, which included the 6x6 paper pad by Crate Paper (which is now sold out :( ) I had a flick through it, and kept coming back to the bold flower design, which, if you've been a follower for a while, you'd know, it's not really me! But, I worked with the colours and coloured Gifty Gwen in colours from the patterned paper, with my Stampin' Write Markers. I then fussy cut her out, and popped her on some Woodgrain stamped Confetti White card and sponged the edges in Crumbcake. I layered up my card base (crumbcake) with more Confetti White, the patterned paper, and of course some delicious Grosgrain/Satin Edge ribbon from The Ribbon Carousel! This ribbon is absolutely divine to work with, and adds a lil something something to the card :) The Sentiment is from Sincere Salutations, which is from Stampin' Up!
I'm uploading this to the sketch challenge over at Some Odd Girl. Why not enter for your chance to win some lovely, adorable stamps?

Stampin' Up! Bird on a Branch and I create a Springtime Blank Card

Hi Guys!
Back again with another card to share before bed! :)
This is a fairly basic card, I have used a Confetti White card base, layered with patterned paper from Kaisercraft, although, I felt it was too bright for this card, so I toned it down using plain vellum. I added a small piece of So Saffron card stock, layered with some Confetti White card which I'd run through the Bigshot with a woodgrain embossing folder. I added some pretty pink ruffled ribbon, and tied a bow. The main image is from the retired Stampin' Up! set Bird on a Branch and has been stamped using Stampin' Write Markers and sponged with Bashful Blue. I added three little Rhinestones and left this card blank, with no sentiment.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Embellish Magazine challenge, next up is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, and finally The Paper Players Spring Challenge.
Thanks for popping by!

The Greeting Farm and I create a Masculine Birthday Card

Hi guys! Tonight, I needed to watercolour some frustrations out... So, I stamped a The Greeting Farm stamp, called Edward
This is a Night of Navy card base with patterned paper from Kaisercraft On the Move collection, and some Soft Suede cardstock, which went through the Big Shot with a woodgrain embossing folder. I added some Denim Ribbon, from Stampin' Up! and then coloured my image using my Stampin' Write Markers to match my papers. I popped Edward on a piece of White cardstock which I had sponged with Night of Navy ink and then with my newest favourite thing, Perfect Pearls, I popped some dots all around the edge.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the sketch from Anyone For Anya? which was freaking me out this week, as it looked more difficult than it actually was.... and Secondly, the DYSU Layers Challenge
Thanks for popping by!
