Morning! I stayed up late last night, and was talking to one of my favourite people, Annmaree, and she linked me to a sketch challenge that I knew I had to do something with.... So, I stayed up later, and made a card....
This is another card I made 'backwards....' Usually, I colour my image, then build a card for the image... This time, I made up the card, glued down all the layers and then decided on my image, coloured it up, paper pieced it, and attached it.... Anyway, I used a whole bunch of patterned paper from Kaisercraft Black and White Timeless collection, and layered most pieces on black cardstock before stitching around a lot of them. I also die cut a glitter piece of cardstock, using the MFT Die-namic Open Bracket Die and attached it to one of the patterned paper pieces. The image is one from Gorjuss and has been coloured using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and paper pieced using a scrap of polka dot paper from My Minds Eye. I fussy cut her and her kitty out, and attached them to the Spellbinders oval using dimensional adhesives. Here's a close up of her and her kitty -
So, what was the sketch challenge? It is Stamp with Fun and their sketch challenge... I was also inspired by the kitty picture over at Simon Says Stamp. (wooh kitties!)
