Stampin' Up! Awash With Flowers and Strength & Hope make very pretty Mothers Day Cards

Hi all,
Just a quick one before I duck out to work...
This card was made using a couple of different stamp sets, Awash With Flowers, and the new Strength & Hope stamp set. I have used some pastel colours with So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Blush Bride, which I have paired with Very Vanilla. The back ground stamp is from Strength & Hope, and I have just stamped it tone on tone. The flower is from Awash with flowers, and I have stamped it in Black ink and coloured it with my Stampin' Write Markers.
I am entering this into a few challenges:
Moxie Fab World - Tuesday Trigger
Simon Says Stamp- Embossing
The Sweetest Thing - Sweet Sunday Sketch
Stampin' Up! Only - Mother's Day Cards
Just a reminder... $2 AUD/NZD from the purchase of the Strength & Hope stamp set goes to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation!  If you would like to order this, or anything else, just click here to send me a message, or call me on 0405 173 237
Thanks, and as always,
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Sew Suite, and Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper (DSP) make cute Thank You cards

I felt the need to craft this evening, with a long weekend coming up, and 4 out of the 5 days off of work, I know I'm going to be spending a bit more time in the craft room (which needs tidying up!) I created one card to share with you tonight, and as soon as I'm done posting, I will be heading to bed....
One of my must have sets from Stampin' Up!'s Winter Mini Catalogue, was the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Sew Suite stamp set! With a mum as talented as mine when it comes to sewing, how could I not? This little card uses both these wonderful products! I used my wonderful Circle Scissors to cut the circle which I have then stamped the 'spool' image on using the masking technique, and coloured with my Stampin' Write Markers. The Designer Series Paper has been sitting on my desk, a little lonesome, begging to be used, so when I saw the challenge over at Inkspirations, this week, which is to use Regal Rose, Tempting Turquoise, Whisper White and Sahara Sand, I knew that there was a piece of DSP in this set ready to use! I have also paired this with the Mojo Monday sketch.

Stampin' Up! Beautiful Wings Embossolit makes pretty embellishments!

Hey, back again with a card to share. In my order that I received yesterday, I got the Embossolit, Beautiful Wings to use in my Big Shot. I had been putting off buying it, until I knew how it worked... after my mum bought it (always the guinea pig...) I had a go, found how easy it was to use, and bought it!
Oh, I just wanted to let you all know my mum has finally joined the Stampin' Up! family! She decided to sign up as my downline after seeing how much fun I was having! I think she'll do so well!
Anyway, onto the card
This card uses the sketch from Mojo Monday, and the colours were an experiment... hehe.. I like how it turned out... The circle was cut using my Stampin' Up! Circle Scissors, with the edging a piece of bashful blue punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch, which I've then cut at intervals to go around my circle. The leaves are from the 2 Step Bird punch, and the quote from Butterfly Prints... The ribbon is Bashful Blue stitched grosgrain, which is now retired...
Thanks for looking, and Happy Stamping!
If you've got a moment, pop over to my Mums Blog and say Hi!

Stampin' Up! Circle Scissors, Circle Easel Card

Back again with another card. This one was a first time for me... I've never made an easel card... ever... Until tonight. It took me a whole lot longer than I'd like to admit....
This was extremely difficult for me... Even though, I had a sketch and a recipe to go off of... I couldn't get it working right for me... I ended up not hating this (which believe me, was an improvement...) I used my circle scissors, from Stampin' Up!, cut all my circles out using that.... then tried to figure out what I wanted on the main panel.... should have been easy considering I was using the Mojo Monday sketch, and the Stamping Vacation Pick 3 challenge (which I picked tearing, buttons and white gel pen.)
I think what I found most difficult about this was, I didn't go into my craft room knowing what I wanted to use or even the colour combination, which makes me sit and stamp a bunch of different things until I find something that falls into place. I will definitely have to try this again, when I have a solid idea of what I want in my head!
Happy Stamping!

Summer is definitely here!

It's really quite warm here today, the big thermometre out the front says the temperature is 39.5 C (about 103 F), so its been a day indoors for me. I made this little card before heading into work.

The idea has been in my head since getting the Circle Scissors from Stampin' Up! I just wasn't sure if it was going to work. I actually tried it on a much smaller scale first, with my 1 3/8" circle punch. When I was sure it was going to work, I made this one.
I made this card for 2 different challenges, the first being Just Add Ink, Just add summer challenge, and the Stamping 411 Colour challenge. I always relate watermelon to the start of summer, so that is my reasoning behind this cute card.
