Some Odd Girl - Digital Stamp - Grands - Anniversary Card

Hi guys! I've got free postage (worldwide) in both my etsy and madeit stores this weekend! Just use coupon code MUMSDAY to checkout, with free shipping!
Anyway, I was asked to make an anniversary card, for a sixtieth (!) wedding anniversary...

I started out, by buying, printing and colouring the Some Odd Girl digital stamp - Grand Couple. As usual, I used my Spectrum Noir Markers, and then fussy cut the image out. I then grabbed some patterned papers, from American Crafts, and a no named brand pad and trimmed them down. I mounted the patterned papers on some Island Indigo SU cardstock and doodled around the edges. I created the sentiment, by using my printer and some number stamps, and gold embossing the 60. I added a smattering of sequins to finish off the card.

Kraftin' Kimmie - Owl Anniversary/Love Card

Hi Guys!
I have a quick, shaped card to share today...
I started out by stamping the owls from You know Whoo, from Kraftin' Kimmie and coloured it up using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I then trimmed it out, and selected my papers, from My Minds Eye, and Echo Park. I cut them all into circles and layered them up, with some blue/turquoise seam binding ribbon. I added the sentiment, (also Kraftin' Kimmie) and a wood veneer heart, and finished off the card with three little rhinestones.

Stampin' Up! En Francais for an Anniversary card.

Hi guys! I have another quick post before I go to bed... I haven't done a card with no colouring for a while, so here it is -
It's really hard to photograph white on white cards.... :-/ I used a couple of different embossing folders on various layers to give some dimension and texture... maybe this photo shows it better -
The sentiment is computer generated, because I don't have any Anniversary stamps in my collection! I cut out the hearts using patterned paper from Echo Park, and the doily from my stash. There is a little bit of ribbon behind the circle, but it is hard to see too...
I used inspiration from a couple of sources for this one, first up was the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger, I was inspired by the delightful white on white with just a touch of colour, as well as the stool (which I have represented with my gold background stamping), as well as the base boards, which I have tried to replicate with my embossing on the bottom portion of the card. I was also inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch this week.
Thanks for popping around, I'll be back sometime later to share a circle card I made, with my markers getting another workout!

Stampin' Up! Extreme Elements, I {heart} Hearts and Basic Phrases make an Anniversary Card

Hi Hi! I had a big Stampin' Up! order arrive on Tuesday, but I haven't had much of a chance to get inky... This evening, while there has been nothing on tv, I went into the craft room to have a bit of fun... This card was just screaming to be made, it's been in my head a while, so it came together really quickly!
This is a pretty simple card, I stopped into the newsagents today, and picked up some luggage tags for this purpose :) I used a Crumbcake (Kraft) base, sponged lightly around the edges. I embossed a piece of Real Red using the Big Shot, and a non Stampin' Up! embossing folder, I layered a piece of Chocolate Chip card on top, leaving a gap in the middle of the tape. I wrapped some button twine around, and attached a button. The tag has been stamped with the 'splash' from Extreme Elements (one of my newest acquisitions) and the heart was stamped in Real Red on a scrap of card. I stamped the sentiment from Basic Phrases in the corner, using my Stamp-a-majig to line it up perfectly, a little bit of Real Red ribbon was threaded through and stapled to hold it in place. Here is another shot of the card, showing the tag out
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is Freshly Made Sketches, which has another great sketch (see below), the second challenge is The Lollipop Ladies Red Frogs challenge, and to use movement... which I have done with the removable tag and the colour inspiration. The final challenge I'm entering this into is the CAS-ual Fridays ribbon loops challenge.
Thanks for dropping round :)
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! Always and Congratulations make Anniversary cards

Hi guys, I'm back from work, and wanted to share with you the second card I created last night...
Another super basic card... This is a Melon Mambo card base layered with Whisper White and a strip of Concord Crush. The birdy which is from retired set Always is in Melon Mambo, I have used a strip of white ribbon to balance him. I have stamped the sentiment from the retired set Congratulations in Melon Mambo and Concord Crush. A few small rhinestones finish this off.
I am entering this into three challenges, the first is the Stamp Spot  inspiration challenge, the second is the sketch from Clean and Simple again, and thirdly is the Ribbon Carousel anything goes challenge.
Thanks for popping by,
Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Up! I {heart} Hearts and Basic Phrases make Anniversary Cards

Hi again! Sorry it has been quiet around here again, it is peak uni assignment season, so I have spent my time doing my assignment.... This evening as a reward for getting more than half way through my Japanese assignment, I spent sometime in the craft room...
This is a Very Vanilla card base, layered with some KaiserCraft flocked paper (beautiful) I have then wrapped some pink satin ribbon around the patterned paper. I stamped three hearts from I {Heart} Hearts on some scrap Vanilla, in Daffodil Delight and Blushing Bride. I stamped the sentiment from Basic Phrases (which is retiring in 7 days!) in Basic Black and then stuck down the hearts, the Blushing Bride heart has had a  touch of dimension added, using a pop-dot. The image panel was mounted on a Blushing Bride piece, slightly bigger, and then it was all adhered to the front of the card.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is The Paper Players sketch, which is quite a clean and simple one, but in my take, the white space element has been covered in patterned paper. The second is the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger, which I have used the bold pattern on the floor as my inspiration, as well as the pink and yellow touches.
Anyway, thanks for dropping by!
Happy Stamping!
