Scrapbooking multiple photos!

Hello Again! I scrapbooked yesterday! I went through a bunch of my photos, and decided to use four from a day trip to Hunter Valley Botanical Gardens... here is my layout-
I took LOTS of photos on this trip, and wanted to pop them together, so I could see all the beauty in one page. The first image, is the Aboriginal Sculpture, followed by an artsy photo of the palms, a naked lady sculpture (teehee!) and the pergola. I used patterned paper from My Minds Eye, Prima Flower, Rub-on leaves from Kaisercraft, and a flourish that was painted using White Crackle paint... The "pretty" is a stamp from Prima, buttons are from my stash, and the bling behind the flower is from Annmaree :) Here are some closies

I used inspiration from White With One - Green and Chevrons

Scrapbooking Day Trip Photos

Hello! Hello! Back again today, with a quick post of some scrapbooking of some photos from last year, I had some photos from a day trip to Walka Water Works which isn't far from home, but is a lovely place to visit. Here is my layout -
I started off with a white piece of cardstock, which I painted up with Black Crackle paint, when it was completely dry, I used a brick mask and inked up over the top using Stampin' Up white ink. I then stitched along the top and bottom of my brick wall section, using my sewing machine, and a zig zag stitch. I glued down my first photo, which was the far away shot, but it looked too plain, so I added another photo, which is a close up shot of the windows. I added my embellishment clusters, in orange...
I used Sassfrass Lass stickers, buttons, flowers, a stamped 'beautiful' from Prima, I also used some ribbon with polka dots on it. Lots of little bits and pieces...
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the White With 1 - White, Orange and Black challenge. This one made me step out of my comfort zone, as Orange isn't a colour I use very often, at all! I am entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes Challenge as well.

Scrapbooking brights for my beautiful Niece

Well, I don't have a lot to share today, just another scrapbook page I did last week... I was on a little bit of a scrapping bug... It lasted two layouts :P
Once again, a fairly clean and simple page, I've used papers from Echo Park, and Kaisercraft. The MFT Die-Namic Picket fence die, which I covered liberally in Rock Candy Crackle paint. Some beautiful quotes covered in Glossy Accents, a couple of doilies and some paper flowers. I also did some journalling and it pulls out from behind the photo.
I took inspiration from the Case File No. 31,(Scheme: All colours used, Evidence: liquid medium (crackle paint on the fences, Glossy accents on the Bright Girl element, Stickles on the white flower...) Use a solid background + Use repetition of an element. Testimony: Inspiration Words: color, bright. Used in journalling about Brianna's bright future and her attraction to coloured flowers.) and also used the sketch from Once Upon A ...Sketch, which had the added twist of Seasons, this was a photo from Summer, with Brianna, and the colours I think really help the spring/summer feel :)
Thanks for dropping by lovelies!

Scrapbooking yard photos of Sam

Hi guys! Another quick post before I head to bed! This time, I've got a scrapbook page I made tonight of my nephew Sam...
It's a fairly basic layout, with the polka dots masked using some sequin waste that my friend Michelle sent me , I've been looking for some of this for ages! I taped it down with a bunch of Washi Tape (this stuff is fabulous, because it peels right off!) and painted over it with some black crackle paint. While it was drying, I gathered the rest of my supplies, die cut my photos, and arranged them how I wanted them to appear on the page. I then sat them on the painted section (thinking it was dry) and then removed it to add another embellishment (the Kaisercraft Transparency) and smudged black paint in the middle of the cardstock! I stuck down all the embellishments and photos, then tried to come up with something to cover the smudge.... I thought about a big title, or more embellishments, but thought it looked a bit top heavy, so went with some ants rubons... Here is a close up
I'm entering this into the White With 1 Challenge - WHITE + MAPS + TRAVEL EMBELLISHMENTS. As the only scrapbooking I really do is of my niece and nephew, I had to think about this one for a little while... Then I remembered these pictures of Sam... I used pieces of Bo-Bunny world map patterned paper for a couple of the circles and the travel embellishments include a 'luggage tag', 'post card' and 'passport' stickers. I am also a member of the Facebook group - Crafty Crops! and their challenge was a sketch which I loosely based my layout on...
