Stampin' Up! Contempo Christmas, French Foliage and The Best is Yet to Be combined to make a Christmas Card

Hi guys! It's been a super busy week, as work has asked me to come in 4 days a week instead of my usual 2, and on the midweek break that I usually have, I had stamp club, so all craft had been put on hold... I got into the craft room last night though, and made up this card
I have used a Crumbcake (Kraft) base, which has a piece of Not Quite Navy card stock, which I have run through the Big Shot using a new embossing folder (for me anyway), called Stripes. I then got a piece of Vanilla card stock which I have stamped the little leaf from French Foliage in Old Olive, and then stamped the ornament from Contempo Christmas in Not Quite Navy and Rich Razzleberry. I then drew a border using my black Stampin' Write Marker and a ruler. The sentiment is from The Best is Yet to Be, and has been stamped in Rich Razzleberry. I mounted it to a scallop circle of Old Olive, and punched some tiny holes in the petals.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, and then into the Embellish Magazine colour challenge, which also must use Leaves
Thanks for dropping around!
Don't forget, that my Blog Candy finishes on Thursday!

Stampin' Up! French Foliage and I create a easily mass produced Christmas Card!

I know when it comes to making my Christmas cards this year, I'll be looking for something that, a. doesn't use a bunch of cardstock, b. doesn't require too much thought c. something that is easily posted and d. something that I can produce a lot of in a short period of time.... I think I've found my card for this year! You may remember this card I made last month... So, I decided to make one Christmassy
This year, my Christmas colours are back to traditional red and Green, so this card is perfect :) It is a Confetti  White card base, which I have stamped the little leaf from French Foliage in Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive. I stamped the sentiment, which is from Contempo Christmas in Real Red. I added 'berries' using some red stickles.
I am entering this into the Less is More one layered leaves challenge and the Simply Stampin' Challenge which is Leaves as well
Thanks for popping by!

Stampin' Up! Snow Swirled, Tree Trimmings, Dasher and Contempo Christmas create a Vintage Star Album

Hi Guys, I should warn you all now, this is going to be a picture heavy post.... I have created a Christmas mini star album for an international holidays swap... luckily, I only had to make one!
So, this is the front, I used a piece of backing card you get when you order a pack of designer series papers. The album size is 4 inches square. I have covered the backing card using the Newsprint DSP, and inked the edges using Crumbcake. I stamped Dasher is Soft Suede on Very Vanilla, and mounted it on Suede. I added a rhinestone for his nose. The ribbon is non-Stampin' Up! and is almost a perfect match for Cherry Cobbler.
This is just to show you a different angle, the pages are Cherry Cobbler, followed by Soft Suede and Very Vanilla... Now the insides:
I sponged all the Vanilla pieces with Crumbcake, and purposefully left some of the pages blank, so my swap sister can insert photos, or journalling.

Other pages, like these ones, I filled with a Christmas quote or picture that I thought was really nice

This page, (below) is  probably my favourite...

Sorry about my fingers in these, the pages wouldn't sit open by themselves...

I used only 5 stamp sets and 4 colours to create this entire album, Dasher, Snow Swirled, Contempo Christmas, Tree Trimmings and a Hero Arts stamp I don't remember the name of... The colours are Soft Suede, Crumbcake, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla. Here is a look at the album open, with all the pages showing.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Stamping

Stampin' Up! Tree Trimmings and I create a Christmas card in non-traditional colours!

Hello Again! I got this set from a fellow demonstrator not that long ago, and of course had to ink it up for some Christmas cards in July!
The base is Baja Breeze with Night of Navy Matting, then a piece of Whisper white with the ornaments stamped in Bashful Blue, Baja Breeze and Night of Navy.  I added some Crystal Effects and sprinked some silver glitter over the top. The sentiment is from Contempo Christmas, and is stamped in Baja Breeze.
I am entering this into the Less Is More Shades Of Blue Challenge. I'll be back a little later with the other card I created last night.
