Some Odd Girl - You're an Inspiration

Hi again! I have another card to share today, I was up late(ish) last night, crafting and watching dvds...
I am trying to get through some of my un-inked stamps, and use them... here is my card -
I started by picking out the journalling card, which is from Teresa Collins, Michelle has them in these awesome Project Life kits... I haven't gotten into PL, but love the kits... I then stamped and coloured Sunny Mae from Some Odd Girl, and fussy cut her out. I used the sun ray stamp, and stamped it in Basic Gray ink in normal strength and 2nd generation inking. The sentiment is from MFT, and the little scallop border is using some Kaisercraft patterned paper. The chevron background is actually a stamp from Kaszazz inked in Basic Gray ink, and a little bit of ribbon/rhinestones finishes off this card.
Here is the close up-
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Tuesday Trigger which spoke to me as soon as I saw it... I think it was the combination of colours that grabbed me... The other challenge, is the Mojo Monday sketch... which you probably can't see straight away... but.... if you think of Mae as the top rectangle, and the journalling card as the one below it, the sun rays as the ribbon embellishment, it all makes sense! I swear!
I drew the winner for a store gift voucher on my Facebook page today!
Happy Valentines Day!
