Miss Anya Dressy - TGFSC22

Hi Again, two posts in two days! I'm as shocked as you are, I've been neglecting the old blog a bit! I have a DT post that has gone live over at The Stamp Spot, go check out the rest of the DT work from the Design Team :)

For this card, I coloured my image first, something I rarely do.... I usually pick my papers out first... (which do you do first?) I coloured up Miss Anya Dressy using my Spectrum Noir Markers, and a new hair colouring technique (for me anyway) using a feathered stroke. I left some parts free from colour, to add highlights and shine. I found that really difficult, leaving white showing through!
I then fussy cut her out, and set Miss Anya aside to focus on the rest of my card. I used patterned paper from a 6x6 paper pad and stitched around the outsides using black thread (it's intentionally messy...) I layered some glitter cardstock, cut with one of my newest toys, the MFT Die-namicOpen Bracket Border and attached it to my aqua patterned paper. I looped some light aqua satin ribbon around the patterned paper, and attached some Lemondrop Twine and tied a little bow. The main image panel has been stitched as well, and Anya has been popped up on some foam dimensionals. I finished off the card with three simple rhinestones, and no sentiment.

tried to make this work with this months challenge Spots- Black, Scallops and Satin Ribbon.
Don't forget to pop on over and enter your project :)
I also used the sketch from Splitcoast Stampers as my inspiration -
