Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration Stamp set Bliss

Recently, I have started doing more and more clean and simple cards, so the discovery of the Less is More challenge has been a god-send! I love clean and simple stamping, and with the Mothers Day cards for the Troops drive, the simpler the better, as I can set up a production line to create the maximum amount of cards in the smallest amount of time as possible...
I created another two this evening using the Less is More latest challenge, which is a theme challenge - SPRING. Spring to me is new flowers, and Mothers Day. These cards use the Sale-a-bration stamp set Bliss, which has to be my favourite Sale-a-bration set. I love the butterfly and damask in the set, but this is the first time I've used this little flower. It reminds me of a cherry blossom, especially the lighter of the two....
I will be participating in this challenge again, I'm sure.. So, head over, and have a look at the other entries (there are some amazing artists participating in these challenges!)
Happy Stamping Guys!

  1. Hi Jess,
It only dawned on me today that with the seasons being different for us in different parts of the globe,Spring is not just around the corner for you... you must be still in summer! So thanks for joining in our Spring challenge!
I'm not sure which card I prefer... maybe the first, I like the position of the sentiment in that one!
We'll look forward to seeing you again next week!

  4. Hi Jess - you're quick off the mark!!

These are both lovely - I like the way the flowers cascade down the card. I think I prefer the first, I prefer the slightly stronger colour of the flowers, and the position of the greeting is a little more pleasing to the eye! However, I adore the "mother" stamp!!

  21. I'd not given a thought to the fact that spring means different things in other parts of the world - SU stamps particularly seem to suit this clean and simple style of cards and you've made good use of them.

  26. So pretty, love the swoosh of flowers on these! I like the strong contrast of the darker ink colour on the first one too, makes it look an even fresher design somehow.

  27. Hello Jess, It's so interesting to see what you associate with spring in Australia as it is very different from Scotland. Your cards are lovely, I like the flower cascade and I think I prefer the first, but only marginally, the stronger colour and placement of the flowers together with the placement of the greeting just has the edge for me. I took a peek at other posts on your blog and I do like your CAS style cards. Elizabeth x

  28. Love the way your flowers look as if they've been sprinkled across the card front.
