Stampin' Up! Growing Green is perfect for colouring!

Since discovering how to use my Stampin' Write markers to their advantage, I've fallen in love with colouring images....
Last night, after I'd crawled into bed, I had a brain wave.... My Growing Green set would be perfect for a Mothers Day Card (for the Troops), so up I got.... pulled my markers out and my stamp set and played...
The first one I'm most happy with, I love the fact that the little flowers came out looking like pansies, so thats the way I coloured them. This is the first time I've ever actually inked up that stamp in the set! Once I'd coloured my flowers, I made the rest of the card. I wanted to bring in some of the yellow from the flower centres, so I tied some bakers twine (love this stuff) with a yellow scallop circle tag. The sentiment is from a retired hostess set. The second card is using the leaf from the Growing Green set, which I have coloured before... but never in this style... I love the layering of the colours, really makes it pop... the rest of the card, I'm not to fussed on... :P
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!
Jess

I am loving the second one. Your colouring is awesome and the simplicity of the embellishments is lovely.
