Colouring with your Stampin' Write Markers

I'm forever on a quest to learn how to utilise one of my favourite tools.... My Stampin' Write Markers...There are lots of cool ways of using these, but I wanted to learn how to colour an image nicely with out it piling the paper.... In steps google, and its wonderment of suggestions! The best walkthrough I found was this one by Cee Cee. She suggests stamping on Kraft (Crumbcake) cardstock, and instead of blending as you would with Copics, you layer your colouring. Stampin' Write markers are water based, so they behave differently than alcohol based markers, such as Copics. Instead of blending you will get shading that is visible (which looks just as good)
Here is the overall card I made, and below, a close up of one of the flowers!
I absolutely adore this, and it is something I will do again, and again I'm sure... I'm entering this into the Moxie Fab World Marker Challenge.
Thanks for looking.

  1. This is a lovely card Jess. I really like the CAS style & the soft colouring of the pinks paired with the Crumbcake & the touch of white. :)
