A few things to share

I've had a busy week, and have been putting off the Kraft it Up! Challenge since the beginning of January... The challenge this month was to do a summer page, with the word Summer in the title... this presented me with a problem... I'm not really into summer all that much (give me winter any day!) I also don't have many summery pictures... so sat scratching my head for a while.... until I came up with this-
I'm a big reader, I read all the time.... So, I've popped a list in this page....
It's a great way to track what I have read this summer.... I love how this layout turned out.... I love that I've finally figured out my darn sewing machine, and how to sew in straight-ish lines....
Another thing I wanted to share with you... This card
This was a case from Kristina Werner's card here... I also used the Curtain Call colour challenge here
I liked this card, but when I showed it to Mark, he didn't understand the 24/7 thing... is it a bit too ambiguous? Its supposed to be Love 24/7.... with the hearts... etc... hmmm... maybe I'm stretching it a bit... Let me know what you think.
Thanks for dropping by!

  5. What a great idea for a layout! I love the way you photographed a stack of your books, and the great use of white space.

Your card is such a fun design! You used these colors so well, and I think the message is perfectly clear. Thanks for joining us at the Curtain Call again this week!
