ColourQ 59 and Mojo Monday

I know it's been a busy craft day when there are three posts in one day.... This post fulfils challenges from two different blogs. The first card I have to show you is for the ColourQ Challenge Blog. The colours picked for this blog are always very daunting, and this week was no different...
I saw that there was orange in this colour combo and freaked out... I dislike orange, orange and I do not get a long.... I wanted to use a stamp set that doesn't see enough ink.... Artistic Etchings. So, I headed over to Split Coast Stampers for some inspiration. I found this card, and decided to Case it, using the challenge colours. My card is below
The next card is for the Mojo Monday sketch. I see so many people participating in this challenge, so I figured I'd give it a go.
I decided to use Artistic Etchings again, but this time with something completely different. I sponged a piece of Whisper White with Bashful Blue, Pacific Point, Night of Navy and Basic Black, then stamped the Eiffel Tower in Black, added my sentiment, which is from the current hostess set Silhouette Sentiments, mounted it on some whisper white with a bow, and attached it to the card. It isn't a literal interpretation of the sketch, but I think it works. Let me know what you think...
I love the fact that with a stamp set I can get two completely different designs. If you'd like a chance to win a Stampin' Up! single stamp, visit this blog post and add your name!
