Stampin' Up! French Foliage and I make a Autumn Thank You Card

Hi! I have created a card with inspiration taken from one of my favourite bloggers, Dawn Olchefske, she has created a wonderful Thanksgiving card using French Foliage, so I have cased her idea, and made an Autumn Thank You card (as we don't do Thanksgiving here in Australia)

The colours I have used are More Mustard, Soft Suede and Early Espresso. The leaves have been stamped using the Rock and Roll technique, inked up first in More Mustard than the edges rolled in Soft Suede. I have stamped the splatter in Soft Suede to make 'baubles' and the sentiment is from a retired set, Artfully Asian and has been stamped in Early Espresso. The patterned paper is from a retired set also, but I can't think what it was called...

Stampin' Up! Chalks make striking Thank You Cards

Hi all! Sorry I've been fairly quiet on the blog front, I've had a fairly crazy, hectic week, with a bit of fun thrown in to the mix!
I made this card in a series for my house mates mum as a Thankyou gift for her help.

I made 8 of these babies, using different colours, and different stamps, but silly me, only photographed one of them... These stamps are from the retired set Artfully Asian, which was actually the first stamp set I bought through Stampin' Up!, back in 2006. The chalking was done using a cut out mask, which was taped down, and some cotton balls. I clear embossed the leaf image first, so the chalk wouldn't cover it, or smudge it. I love how clean and simple this card came out. 

I am entering this into the SUO Challenge, which was to use your retired stamps.

Hi All,
Back again with another Mothers day card to share with you

Now, I made this card for a few challenges.... The Less is More Pastel Challenge, which was a difficult one for me... And also, for The ABC pink challenge. I'm not entirely happy with this, but I think it's because I think it looks unfinished... I used a retired SU! stamp I bought about 2 years ago (maybe 3) and the sentiment is from my favourite Summer Mini Catalogue Stamp Set, Well Scripted.
