The Greeting Farm - Fleur Anya

Hi Hi! So sorry for abandoning the blog again this past week, I've been run off of my feet with work, which of course, is dropping off again now... (it never rains, but it pours!) Anyway, I have barely crafted all week, but now with my four day weekend, I have a card to share (keep an eye out over the weekend for more!) Here is my first card -
I used a pink card base for this card, layered up with some white card and then some patterned paper from My Minds Eye (a very old patterned paper!) I stamped the woodgrain background stamp in white craft ink on to the patterned paper, and then clear embossed it, to give it a touch more texture. I'm not sure if it's really visible in the photo... I then stitched around the edge, with a mix of straight stitch and zig zag, this step really helped hold my Yellow Satin/Grosgrain Ribbon in place :) I then looped some of the ribbon around itself, and tied some Twine around it, and through a flower button from my stash. The main image panel is a Spellbinders shape, cut out and sponged with Pretty in Pink ink. The main image, is of course Fleur Anya and she was coloured with my Spectrum Noir Markers.
I am entering this into two challenges, the first is the Anyone for Anya? sketch challenge... and next up is the Splendid Stamping Farm Fresh Friday Summer challenge.
