Stampin' Up! Aviary and I Create Thank you Cards

This week, I had a get together with fellow demonstrator, team mate, and friend, Kim. She brought along a bunch of stamps, and her creativity! We discovered, due to our similar styles, the easiest way for us to be productive, is to give a colour challenge, or a stamp challenge, and go from there. It worked! I made 13 cards (all of which I adore!) and Kim made 14, I stumbled on one of the colour challenges, and didn't finish it... oops...
Here is one of the cards I created,

This is using the Aviary stamp set, which you only have a short amount of time to get, if you want it. I have to admit, when I first saw the set, I wasn't impressed, but after playing with it... I'm in love.... It's made it on to my wishlist... You only have until the 31st of March, if you'd like to purchase this adorable stamp set. Here, the colour challenge was Certain Celery, Perfect Plum, Very Vanilla and Bashful Blue. The strip of glitter behind the main image, is created using some double sided tape. You just place it where you want it, peel off the backing and sprinkle your glitter on. It is such an easy little technique, but has a mass of WOW! factor...
