Masculine Birthday Card

Another lazy day at home meant I got a card made (woohoo!) No house work done today, which is ok with me...
Now, this is actually for three challenges... I used the sketch from Just Add Ink (see below), the colours are from Colour Q and the technique is from Stamping 411's Technique Thursday, which was to use paper piecing. 

The little boys outfit and hair are paper pieced, including his shoes.... I don't have a jumbo scallop like in the sketch, so I used my 3/8" circle punch, which I have cut the circles in half and attached to the Basic Gray border. I really like how this little guy turned out...

  5. OH this is so cute Jess! Thanks for the comment on my blog! And as for your question about the butterfly punch with thick paper...you asked what my secret is? Well...don't laugh but I just put it on the floor and stepped on the handle! LOL! It wasn't going to punch any other way! :)
