And, to add a twist was to make something hidden.... this second part is something I am severely challenged in... I don't like hidden things on my cards.... just me I guess.... I was going to make this card a gift voucher holder, but changed my mind at the last minute, and cut away the insert..... Instead, I went with the idea of having the sentiment somewhat hidden.... It doesn't show up hidden in the photo, but if you hold it at certain angles, the sentiment is almost invisible... I stamped it in Versamark, and clear embossed over the top of it... I don't know if it qualifies as hidden enough, if not, I guess it will be removed from the challenge list...
Considering the colour combination, I really, really like how this card turned out.... I stamped the silhouette in Soft Suede than did the edges using the rock and roll technique with Chocolate Chip to give it some dimension. Than, for more dimension, I stamped it again with versamark, and clear embossed on top as well. I have set myself a goal to use a majority of my ribbons before buying more, so I have tied a small knot around the yellow patterned paper (Sassafrass Lass).
