Birthday Cards

I have been busy back in the craft room today! I realised I have 3 birthdays I needed to create cards for in the next two weeks, so I struck while the iron was hot. I received my order in the mail yesterday, which included the  Big Shot Stampin' Up exclusive Top Note die, the Growing Green stamp set, and the Level One hostess set Silhouette Sentiment. Because I received new stuff, of course they were the first things I reached for!
I had bookmarked Andrea's beautiful card to CASE as it grabbed my eye! Here is Andrea's wonderful creation. I love the Stamping World, where a Case of ones persons card can lead to something similar, but individual! Thank you Andrea for the inspiration!
I used three different inks to create the background, Bashful Blue, Pacific Point and a small amount of Night of Navy. I love the look of the sponging!  I have embossed a Happy Birthday sentiment in the corner of the image, but it is hard to see in the photos.
The next card is a clean and simple creation, using one of my most disliked colours, pink...
This one uses two different pinks - Regal Rose, and Pretty in Pink, with the tree being in Old Olive. The buttons are from my stash.
If you'd like to learn any of the techniques in these cards, or alternatively, find out more on how you can get Silhouette Sentiments for free email me or give me a call (0405 173 237) Don't forget about the blog candy, being given away Here
