That was the question being asked at Colour Throwdown today. The answer is "Yes, yes I can, with a modifier, because I wrote it down wrong when I took notes....(Garden Green)" I made another Christmas card to add to my ever growing stash.... I also used the Stampin' Royalty Sketch challenge
This challenge intrigued me... I wasn't sure if I liked the layout, but had a play nonetheless.
I used a Vanilla card, then layered some Riding Hood Red (which has been embossed) on top. Then I stamped the tree from Snow Swirled in Silver, and embossed with clear embossing powder. I then layered this on to Garden Green (this is the mistake I made, because I thought it was on the list of colours..... it was not....) Then, I stamped one of the snowflakes and embossed it the same way as before. punched it using the scallop circle and layered it on another scallop circle. I then put 3 small silver brads on the left hand side to finish it up.
I'm thinking of re-doing this card when I have some more free time, and do it with the Celery, so keep your eyes peeled for updates...
Mistake or not, it's beautiful just the way it is. Love the tree embossed in silver. Such a classy look. Great background for this! Nicely done!
