The first was the Clean & Simple Challenge blog, which gave us a sketch I could work with this week! (YAY, no circles!!)
Although, silly me made it more difficult by thinking it had to be a sympathy card, because that is what one of the DT had done... *sigh*
So, this is crumb cake, with Bella Rose DSP, which is no longer available. Yup, I definitely made this one more difficult than it had to be....
The next card I made fulfills two different challenges the Stamping 411's Sketch Challenge, and Whimsie Doodle's String it up Challenge, which was to use a banner somewhere in your project.
I Love how this one turned out. I used The Greeting Farm's Mama stamp which has been coloured with pencils and baby oil (to water colour it), then I have layered it on some Cosmo Cricket patterned paper, and that is layered on Sassfrass Lass Bunting. The card stock is SU!'s crumb cake again, and the twine is my trusty go - to which is crochet yarn in a fawn-ish colour.
Before I go, I want to remind you, we are under 100 hits away from the drawing of the blog candy... so, just become a follower, then leave me a comment on the above post, it's really that easy!
Cheers
Jess
