FTL99, Clean and Simple Cards

I've had a massive urge to make cards these last few days, might have something to do with the lack of cards in my stash at the moment... *shrugs*
This one is a little out of my comfort zone, I'm usually the card maker who sticks to 'safe sizes and shapes' mostly the usual 4.25" x 5.5", so this one at 3.5" x 6" is not me at all! I saw this over at the blog Clean and Simple Stamping, and decided to lift it.
This is what I came up with. The flower stamp is a retired Stampin' Up! stamp, the sentiment is Hero Arts. Both card stocks (kraft and rich razzleberry) are Stampin' Up! as are the inks- Gold metallic which I clear embossed over to make it a little duller and Whisper White. The button was from my stash, and the patterned paper was one of the first I'd ever bought, by DCWV. Yup.... thats my hand in the picture, and the sreet in the background :-P

  2. This is a great card and a great use of the sketch. The size is unique and I made on that size too -- like it a lot!
