Recycling Challenge.

Over at Scraptherapy, there was a surprise challenge sprung on us...To take an old layout, and 'recycle' it... Basically, you get one of your old layouts, and give it a make-over! I think this is a lot of fun... I cringe at some of my first scrap pages... before I discovered quality supplies and my style has changed a lot! I went back through my album, and decided to change up this layout -

Which is from when my younger sister, my mum and I went to Taronga Zoo in Sydney. I love the photo but the LO, isn't me anymore... So, I pulled it apart, and took the photo (the rest was binned.) Before sticking anything down onto my Kraft card stock, I played around with different setups, trying to decide what to do with it... So... here is what I came up with - 

This is much more "me." Bright fun colours (yay Cosmo Cricket), a little bit of distressing, a clear embossed ticket, journalling, buttons and... TWINE!!!! hehe... love how it turned out...
