Looks like my craft mojo is back to stay! Which means, a very happy Jess!
Tonight, I made some cards for Jennifer McGuire's Cards for Kids drive.
I got the inspiration for the first one from over at TwoPeas, with their Finally Friday Video. This weeks challenge was to create a card with a paper pieced banner (she called it a pennant.) I used Cosmo Cricket patterned paper for the triangles, American Craft for the clouds, Kraft Card stock for the base, and Stampin' Up! for the sentiment.
The Second card I made came out of nowhere... I received some pretty new stamps in the mail today, including this butterfly from Grace Taylor Designs. I <3 This stamp, and had to use it!
Fairly basic design, but very happy with it. I used more Cosmo Cricket for the patterned paper, Kraft Cardstock and the sentiment I believe is from Hero Arts, although, I could be wrong *cringe*.
Thanks for the link to the card drive. I really like the banner on your first card and I simply love the butterfly and it's shadow on your second card.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are oh so cute. Love them.
