Two Masculine Cards

So, going on from yesterdays post, I loved the colour combination of the gift holder, so I created two more cards, using the same theme papers.
I'm equally happy with these...
This one utilises some American Craft Thickers which were sent to me from the USA, they are fabric and work really well with this colour theme. Also, buttons are from my ever expanding button stash... (I don't have a problem...) I love how the stitching turned out on this one. I used twine pulled apart until I had one (very fragile) strand. The Ribbon is also from my stash. Background Card is American Craft, Denim, and the Patterned paper is one of my favourites, at the moment, Cosmo Cricket, Girl Friday, Sunday. (I like the fact that it is a girly paper on the other side, yet can be utilised to make masculine cards.)

The Second card, is fairly plain, but I love it nonetheless, it uses one Thicker, and half a Happy birthday stamp, by Daisy Bucket Stamps, available at ScrapTherapy. It  also uses one of my favourite looks, twine. Background Card is American Craft, Denim, and the Patterned paper is one of my favourites, at the moment, Cosmo Cricket, Girl Friday, Sunday. I also used my corner round punch on both these cards, and really don't know how I survived without one... Both cards have faux stitching using a white gel pen. (I tried the UniBall Signo one, and don't particularly like it, so have switched to the Hybrid Gel Grip white pen instead... )
