Little Sculpture

In high school, in art class, we were forced to do 'ceramics', as you can well imagine, it usually failed. It used to annoy me no end. My grandmother is a pro at pottery, making beautiful plates, cups, etc. It was always something we did growing up, and visiting my gran, making bits and pieces, most of them my mum still has. So I begrudgingly participated, and surprisingly came up with something that i really liked, and have kept on show. It is made out of clay, and only went through the bisque stage, i couldn't bring myself to colour it and perhaps ruin it. If you can't tell, it is a mother holding her baby. Sort of abstract. As much as I have tried to emulate this piece, I have been unable to.
