Australia Day - Scrapbooking!

Hiya!
I received a parcel of goodies the other day, from D-Lish Scraps, as soon as it arrived, I had to play! I went through the store, and ordered a whole bunch of yummy goodies for this months inspiration board challenge!

And, here is my layout -
I had this photo, which was taken after my friend Angela did my hair an make up, before we hit the town on Australia Day. I thought I'd already scrapbooked it, but apparently not!
The background paper is from Kaisercraft, and I've used a scrap of pink and yellow paper from this card the other day. I also had some left overs from my foray into Project Life, and decided to use them on this layout! I used a whole range of loveliness from the D-lish store, including:
I also used some resin shapes and paper flowers I've had in my stash a while... I used stamps from Give a Girl a Blog, and stickers from My Minds Eye and Bella Blvd (I think) as well as a die-cut mustache (I can't remember which company this one was!)
Here is the close up collage -

As you can probably tell, my main inspiration for this layout was the colour scheme, the chevrons and a very loose interpretation on the sketch!
Don't forget to pop over and play for this months prize!

The Greeting Farm - Owl Thank You Card

Hi guys!
I've been super busy, getting new cards (Valentine's, Baby, etc) into my store! With the new year, came a lot of new inspiration! So, pop over to the store and grab a card or two! If you're a blog reader, take 20% off of your order with coupon code BlogLove until next Monday!
Anyway, on to my card today -
I started with a bunch of scrap pieces of patterned paper on my desk for this card, and grouped them together, until I was happy with this combination, the grey is from American Crafts, then from the top down, We R Memory Keepers, Echo Park and American Crafts. I trimmed the papers down until they were all around the same size (really accurate.... haha) and then doodled around the edges. The main image is from The Greeting Farm, it's an old, retired set that I hadn't used the owl from! I coloured him up, using my spectrum noir markers, and stamped a sentiment, from Hero Arts below.

Scrapbooking with Dylusions Inks - Selfies

Hi guys! I have a scrap page to share tonight! I have had this photo waiting to be scrapbooked for a while, and on the cusp of massive life changes, it seemed like the perfect time for it!

I started off this layout by stamping bubble wrap all over Kraft cardstock using White craft ink, once it was dry, I did a bunch of splatters using Dylusions Spray Inks (and got epically messy)  I splashed around yellow, orange, green and red. I used a bunch of scrap papers for the squares, and layered up some embellishments... here are some close ups. I used a lot of bits and bobs from my favourite embellishment store - D-Lish Scraps

I am entering this in the Kraft It Up October Challenge, which is to use mists!

Feeling Sketchy Week 4 - Kindness Matters with Paper Piecing

Another Monday has arrived, which means it's time for the newest sketch at Feeling Sketchy! The sketch is one I thought I would struggle with, but as I sat down to create, I was pleasantly surprised!
I set myself a challenge for this card, it was to use only scraps (except the base card.) I trawled through my box of half cut papers, and came across this black spotty paper and some dictionary print (from Kaisercraft) The pink chevron paper is from My Minds Eye. I started with the polka dot paper, and carefully stamped and embossed a lace border (MME) in white. The butterflies (from PTI) are stamped on patterned paper, and carefully cut out and popped on to white die cut butterflies (die cut from PTI too) they were then layered onto black circles and attached to the dictionary print. I tied a Pretty in Pink bow (scrap piece of ribbon) and attached it to the card. This card was finished off with a Kindness Matters sentiment, from the Stampin' Up! set of the same name.
Check out this weeks sketch -

I'm also linking this up to the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World....  I was inspired by the colours (not so much the black) and the butterflies :)
Don't forget to pop over to the blog and play, or share some love with my fellow sketchettes :)
