Belated Easter Cards

Hi guys! I've been on prac this last week, and I must say I'm absolutely loving it! I haven't had much time to craft though... Last night though, I had a friend over, who asked for two belated Easter cards... So, I sat and created!  

This one, I used a Greeting Farm stamp, coloured with my spectrum Noir Markers, and patterned papers from Carte Bella, Echo Park and Kaisercraft. I used paper flowers from D-Lish Scraps and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up!

I used the sketch from Mojo Monday for this card.

This second card, I printed a digital image, From the Heart Stamps, and coloured it up with my spectrum noir markers as well. I used patterned papers from an unknown company (no brand), and doodled around the edges. I wanted to keep this one fairly clean and simple, with nothing that an almost one year old could pull off, and stick in her mouth...

Some Odd Girl - Mother's Day!

Hi again! I created this card the other night, I was completely inspired by a conversation in The Some Odd Girl Facebook group, about the stamp - Renew...

Here is my card - 

For this card, I selected some soft, girly papers, the pink one is from Carte Bella and I layered it up with some woodgrain from Kaisercraft (which I popped some ribbon behind). I then coloured up Renew and fussy cut her out. Once that was done, I die-cut a circle, stamped the sentiment (Kaisercraft) and attached Renew using foam adhesives. I added some paper and resin flowers as well as some pearls.

Scrapbooking my Selfies

Hey guys! I've been scrapping, because it's almost always guaranteed to get my craft mojo back! I decided I should scrapbook some more of my selfies, and instagram pics... So, did some printing, and this is the page I created - 

 

I wanted to scrapbook the search for the "perfect" going out top... How my best friend and I spent all day, going to different shops, trying to find a top that I could pair with jeans, and go to dinner and drinks in, and still look dressed up. I didn't find anything I loved, which was a bit disappointing, until, the next day, we went to K-Mart to get cardboard for her daughters school assignment, and I spotted this top! It totally fulfils my requirements for the dressy top to wear out! 

On this page, I've used patterned paper from Carte Bella, and Amy Tangerine, from 6x6 paper pads, and a paper doily, I've added a cluster of embellishments, including a Freckled Fawn frame, a Prima Flower, chipboard bird (painted turquoise), Kaisercraft roses and a flair button. On the other side, next to the journalling, I've used a transparency from Maya Road and a sticker from Amy Tangerine.
