Kaisercraft Fine and Sunny

Hi! I've had a craft filled weekend, but a lot of stuff I'm unable to show you yet, due to them being for DT spots.... so keep an eye out over the next few weeks :) This one was a just for fun card, using some brand new stamps I picked up on Saturday. I went into Spotlight to get foam adhesive and glitter, I walked out with a bunch more stuff... Including this stamp set. 

I started out stamping the bird house on white card stock and colouring it up up with (you guessed it) my Spectrum Noir markers. I then die cut it out and a scallop circle slightly bigger in Chocolate Chip, and set it aside. I gathered my papers, in this case, paper from Cosmo Cricket Baby Jane and Echo Park This & That Charming and layered them up on to more Chocolate Chip card stock. I stamped the Stampin' Up! Woodgrain background stamp on Crumbcake card stock, using craft white ink, and gave it a while to dry. While it was drying, I dragged out my sewing machine, and stitched around the patterned paper panels and also the Crumbcake panel. I then added some folded ribbon accents using this gorgeous Twill Ribbon and then a bit of Twine (from the Ribbon Carousel) and a button to finish it off :)

I am entering this into the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, I wasn't sure at first, whether I'd be able to create something I liked for this, but in the end, I love my card. I am also entering this into the Corrosive Challenge which is to use two or more punches/dies. I used a corner rounder punch, and of course the circle and scallop circles :)
