Stampin' Up! Chalked Mothers Day Cards

I've had a very productive night tonight!
I have made a further 3 mothers day cards for the Australian Troops stationed overseas. My Stampin' Up! team mate is coordinating the collection once again this year, so I thought I should do my part and submit a few cards.... I shared this card with you earlier today, and loved the simplistic design, the wow factor, and the softness that was created, all by using my Stampin' Chalks!
I created some masks using off cut scratch paper, and stamped my images inside the mask. I then heat embossed them using clear embossing powder, and then blended my chalks over the top. I started with the two circles, and then the question formed, what else could I use as a mask? It dawned on me that the Top Note die would make a very pretty shape... so out it came... and the bottom card was born! I love how all these cards turned out, and the fact that they are super easy to post (being single layer cards) is an added bonus. With the Troops cards, I'm very aware that these cards will be travelling overseas, and then back to Australia, so I try to keep embellishments and layers to a minimum, and these cards make the grade!
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!
Jess
