So, I was looking through my blog roll, and came across a post by the crazy talented Bronwyn, from AddINKtive Designs had posted about a 2-4-6-8 favour box. My interest was piqued... I visited, checked out her gorgeous box, and decided I needed to know how to make it! So, onto the Stamp-a-Holic's Challenge blog, took a look at their tutorial (was sad because it was a video, and it chews through our lame internet,) googled around until I found a text version of the tutorial, and had a play! (This is the tutorial I used)
Part of the SAH challenge was to create the project in under 45 mins.... now I generally don't time myself.... ever! But, this took me approx 35 minutes to create from scratch, and that included looking for cardstock, and inks, and what stamp set I was going to use....
I used Crumb Cake, Melon Mambo and Whisper White C/stocks, with Trendy Trees stamped in Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry (this is a new colour combo fave!) I then thought it looked a little boring (after adding the handle, which is held on by tiny white brads) so decided on making a little tag for it....
This is the scallop circle, with a smaller circle in the middle and some pink rhinestones my mum bought me a while ago attached. The swirls are the 'tree tops' from Trendy Trees stamped in Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive.
This is so pretty and the tag just finishes it off nicely. Thanks for playing with the Stampaholics this week.

Cute box, Jess! It's easy to do and to think I'd never made one before! Glad you were inspired to give it a go too!
