Challenge Card

Today I had Stamp Club, down at my mums house, so I had a very crafty day... That hasn't stopped me since getting home.. I headed back in to the craft room to create a card that fulfilled a number of challenges-
Colour Q - Challenge 54 was to create a card using this as inspiration
I do not yet have Concord Grape (known here in Australia as Concord Crush), so I substituted it with Elegant Eggplant. I'm also submitting this card to the Simon Says Challenge blog, they are going for 300 submissions... I will be 281! The challenge was to create a project with Halloween as inspiration. This was incredibly difficult for me, as in Australia, we do not generally celebrate Halloween (it is slowly gaining popularity though, with young children and retailers....) The last challenge I want to enter this into is 2 Sketches 4 You blog. Which had this wonderful sketch
If you're a regular to my blog, you know circles and I don't agree, so I substituted the circle with a rectangle (Hello Straight Lines!!!)
The card is Basic Black with a layered Old Olive embossed piece (BigShot) on top. I then got a piece of Elegant Eggplant and stamped it with the Always In Bloom wheel, in E-Eggplant and stuck this in place. Out came a piece of Whisper White, which had Trendy Trees stamped on it in O-Olive and Pumpkin Pie. The sentiment is also from Trendy Trees.
Thanks for looking
